The Time Has Come - The Lord Says You Will See Me in a New Way!

The Time Has Come - The Lord Says You Will See Me in a New Way

Can you feel it?  Do you perceive it?

John 16:1 FATHER, THE TIME HAS COME!!!

Over these past months and years for some, many in the body of Christ are experiencing warfare, unrelenting trials and intense suffering.  I’ve seen in the spirit, the white flag of surrender.  I’ve  heard the cries “No More”. I’ve seen the tears soaking pillows day and night.  The utter depth of despair and sorrow His remnant Church has been going through.  Asking, Lord when?  When will you come to rescue us from this pit?  When will healing come?  When will provision come?  My heart has been breaking for all His Children crying out.   The Lord highlighted this passage to me as what His Bride may be experiencing.

John 16:20b-22 TPT But know this, your sadness will turn into joy when you see me again! 21 Just like a woman giving birth experiences intense labor pains in delivering her baby, yet after the child is born she quickly forgets what she went through because of the overwhelming joy of knowing that a new baby has been born into the world. 22 “So will you also pass through a time of intense sorrow when I am taken from you, but you will see me again!

I perceive that we are at the beginning of birth pangs and the birthing will happen swiftly.  Let me explain what God has been speaking to me through some circumstances I’ve been going through.

A couple weeks ago, out of the blue, I began to experience some intense pain in my right side, radiating to my back.  The first night it radiated through my entire mid-section.  I was also experiencing lightheaded, dizzy spells and almost fainting.  It has been unbearable pain for the past 2+ weeks!  I even said, this must be what childbirth feels like.  Something in my spirit told me to radically change my diet to almost all raw, only healthy fat, no gluten, lean protein and lots of water.  I felt such an urgency and commitment that it was a matter of life or death.

We had a retreat scheduled in Southern, MO, Brook at Bethpage.  I wasn’t sure I wanted to go because of the pain I was experiencing, but I felt the Lord leading to go anyway.  On our way down, our Garmin took us off the main highway and down many country roads so it seemed as if we were in extreme wilderness.  We had to detour because of recent heavy rains, so the path there was long.   We came to another roadblock with water running over the road, but it was shallow enough to cross.  When we arrived at the retreat center, there was another water bridge, with water flowing pretty good over it.  It was the only way in, we knew.  Water was rushing on the other side of the bridge, so it was quite intimidating.  I threw up a prayer asking for grace to cross and over we went.

These past months have been about radical changes in the way we do things.  The change in diet, I sense was the Lord showing me that we must choose Him to be our only Bread which brings life, John 6.  Obedience to whatever He asks, is a matter of life and death.   The path He has taken us on has been filled with many detours, road blocks and threatening situations.  As we obey, He brings life!

The second day at the retreat, we were sitting by the brook.  It was peaceful, tranquil and yet full of life.  The Lord spoke to me and said “I am coming like a rushing flood, washing over you, bringing refreshing and healing over My body.  It will be powerful yet gentle.  That
night, the rains began and by morning we were “flooded in”.   The owner of the property said the water bridge that we drove over the day before was a raging river.  The water had come out of its banks and was about 100’ over the land.  The road they came on to tell us was flooded and he had a high sitting truck that barely made it through.  And that night, we  lost power.

Zechariah 4:6 Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.   We have stepped into a new season and it is only by His Spirit that we will know the way to walk in it.

Later this week, I had a vision.  I saw Jesus sweeping a porch and He said “Final Sweep” and then He put the broom up and grabbed my hand and we stepped off the porch.   I sensed with this one, that the Lord was showing me He is making one final sweep to wipe away anything that is not of Him.  After that vision, immediately I heard once my new eyeglasses came in, I would see 20/20 vision, and then clear as day I heard Him say “Signed, Sealed & Delivered.  At that very moment my doorbell rang and I looked up.  It was the UPS man dropping a package.  When I opened the door, I found my new eyeglasses.

Later in the day I was having a detox massage and the lady told me when I first came in the door, that the reason I was having pain was because I was about to step into something BIG and NEW.  She went onto say that this detox massage would be a clean “sweep” of everything blocking the way.

One last confirmation was a word I read on Facebook by Dana Jarvis (Permission granted)
“Calling For The Miraculous! - Dana Jarvis

Begin to look for the extraordinary! The bowls have been filled in Heaven with your prayers. His angels shall tip them over as the thunderings and lightning's come forth and the prayers you prayed shall hit their mark.

There is a sound coming down and it is the sound of victory. Watch against the spirit of chaos and confusion. The enemy is trying to come in any open door he can find. This is the time to rise! Walk being strong, being triumphant! His light is shining upon you! He will make up the years the locust have eaten.

It will sweep to the East, it will sweep to the West, it will sweep to the North, it will sweep to the South, a wave of the miraculous. The Lord says, "I am coming!"

Some things are breaking forth! There is a shifting in the atmosphere. This is your season!”

After pondering and praying into all these events these past few weeks, I have a strong sense that the Lord is about to reveal His glory through us.   One thing that stood out in THIS SEASON when He speaks, IT WILL HAPPEN IMMEDIATELY.   I believe what we ask for in prayer will manifest instantly as I saw with the flood and the word sweep.

These verses jumped off the pages at me the last two days bringing such confirmation and understanding of this new season.

John 17 TPT - Jesus Finished the Father’s Work
v 1 Father, the time has come.  Unveil the glorious splendor of your Son, so that I will magnify your glory.
v 4b By faithfully doing everything you told me to do.
v 7 And now at last they know that everything I have is a gift from You.
v 10b and My glory is revealed through their surrendered lives..
v 21b so that the world will recognize that you sent me.

All the trials, all the suffering, everything you have endured has been used to bring you to a place of completely surrendered lives.  You have surrendered all for what was done on the Cross.   You have been faithful in all the Lord has asked of you. John 16:33 TPT And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me.

THE TIME HAS COME that the Lord’s glory will be revealed through you.  His desire is to reach the status quo, the hurting, broken and lost.  It is His power and glory revealed through you, His surrendered vessel that He can now use mightily.   You are His Chosen Servant!   There will be NO DOUBT the Lord has done ALL He has promised in your life!  The promises fulfilled will bless you for your obedience, but also so The WORLD will take notice.  The lost will be found!

Do not look back!  Do not look for God in the way you are used to. The Lord says, you will see me in a new way!   20/20 vision!

The Time has Come to be Released and GO FORTH into all the World!

Isaiah 42 (NIV)
The Servant of the Lord
42
“Here is my servant, whom I uphold,
    my chosen one in whom I delight;
I will put my Spirit on him,
and he will bring justice to the nations.
He will not shout or cry out,
or raise his voice in the streets.
A bruised reed he will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.
In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;
he will not falter or be discouraged
till he establishes justice on earth.
In his teaching the islands will put their hope.”
This is what God the Lord says—
the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out,
who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it,
who gives breath to its people,
and life to those who walk on it:
“I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness;
I will take hold of your hand.
I will keep you and will make you
to be a covenant for the people
and a light for the Gentiles,
to open eyes that are blind,
    to free captives from prison
and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.
“I am the Lord; that is my name!
I will not yield my glory to another
    or my praise to idols.
See, the former things have taken place,
    and new things I declare;
before they spring into being

    I announce them to you.”

Testimony God's goodness on how I got new glasses!!

So a couple weekends ago we were having lunch with a KC friend. She kept staring at me and after awhile, she said "is there something wrong with your glasses, I keep seeing spots and do you need a new pair?"

I answered her telling her that the film is coming off horribly but yes that I've been having a hard time seeing things. Ken and I had just been discussing this a few days prior.

She said "well the Lord highlighted your glasses to me, matter of fact they are huge on your face and He wants me to help you buy new ones.". I told her Lions Club has a program for free eyeglasses for those that qualify, just need to pay for an eye exam.

She wrote us a check. After she handed the check to me, my glasses returned to normal size and no spots, she said. Lol.  God has a funny way of speaking to us sometimes!  But I love it!!!

Vision
God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.
The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord.
We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating people into the world & health and wellness retreats and more.

The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but better help them be ready to serve in their church.
In our community building - we will eventually have a 24/7 prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more souls into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.

Why So Quiet?

Ecclesiastes 3:7  A time to be silent and a time to speak.

This verse is pretty interesting in several ways....

I pray this when praying for others or self for wisdom in how to minister to have a difficult conversation..  Lord give them/me the words to speak and silences to keep.

I pray this just in general - so that I don't mince my words or babble on and on (now that last part doesn't always stop me, lol)

Years ago, I felt the Lord leading me to write this blog in general and to be transparent in my/our walk.  He wanted me to express the ups and downs of the journey He has us on.  Sharing about my health, the financial needs, the destiny He has for us and other things as He led.

I've always been a "wear" everything on my sleeve kind of person.  I'm real. I'm authentic and I definitely say what's on my mind most of the time.  There isn't much people don't know.. (maybe a few private things).

I have learned much about being transparent and sharing things... some good and some not so good.
Maybe the biggest thing is the resolve and intentionality of staying focused on what GOD speaks to us vs what man's opinion is.   Believe me, that's been a big challenge.  I now truly grasp what Bruce Wilkinson wrote in his book "The Dream Giver" - about Border Bullies.   There are people well intentioned or not who get offended or hurt if you don't follow their advice.    For example (not relating to our vision) - I had someone tell me that if I didn't follow their "health protocol" which was hundreds of dollars a month in supplements, that there would be no way I could ever be healed.   I loved the product they offered and use some of them periodically, but I did not feel the Lord leading that nor providing for that.  If God leads, He meets the need!

Back in the late 80's after Ken and I got back from our honeymoon, my step mother said to me.  Something has changed in you two.  You are more mature.   She said "your father and I are here to provide any advice you may want, but it's up to you to decide if its applicable to apply to your situation or circumstances".      She went on to say that we would know the right direction if we were in unity and followed our gut (which now I feel means the Holy Spirit's leading).   That was profound and has stuck with us all these years.    We love advice, but not forced on us. We do seek a multitude of counselors who are involved with us on a regular basis... we ask, listen and then seek the Lord to determine what we ought to do.  And years ago, the Lord showed us that Ken and I being in unity was key.

We have been told that we must be missing God's will and direction because things are so hard. Look at those God used in the Bible - were their lives easy?  Ha!   I truly believe the Lord leads us very specifically and we really can't derail His plan for our lives unless we choose to blatantly be disobedient, but even then, that's questionable. Check these verses out!

“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted. Job 42:2

The LORD of Heaven’s Armies has spoken— who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him?” Isaiah 14:27

If you've known us for a while you would know that if we believe we've heard God, we are obedient.  I cannot tell you how many people have made comments to us about our obedience and faith.   Now I don't say that arrogantly....but it's the walk God has placed us on and we so desire to please God and live for God daily.   It doesn't always make sense to us or others... and that's where learning when to speak and when to be silent is essential.   I guess like Joseph sharing his dream with his brothers - we too shared the vision God has for us - maybe prematurely - maybe not - but it has cost us - and for me the greatest cost has been relationships have severed.   I have to choose to trust God and that He has brought the separation for a reason.   But I don't have to like it!

With all this being said... I haven't blogged for the last two months in obedience.  I feel God has got me/us in a season of just being quiet... and allowing Him to do what He wants to do.   I also feel it's His protection.  Honestly, we are weary, wounded but healing and desperately awaiting His promises too manifest.   Many are!   We are trusting Him day by day and often moment by moment.

We love and appreciate all of you who love us right where we are at.  We are so thankful for the prayer support and those that sow into us financially as led by the Lord.  Those are precious gifts we covet (not the money) but the support of who we are and our walk with the Lord.   Our prayer needs remain the same, health, daily need, car issues and provision to step into destiny...  Thank YOU for helping to hold our arms up during this extended wilderness season.

Blessings -
I will say that God has blessed us with an increase in people attending our small group.  We have a new couple who are just barely weeks clean from meth addiction and salvation...and others,  this brings us renewed purpose here...to be used to help disciple and mentor and equip to be used mightily by the Lord.  Praise God!   One of them has asked us to baptize them... in Stockton Lake - that's a stretch for me cuz "THERE ARE SNAKES IN LAKES".  LOL!!!    We have 2 people who literally drive back and forth from KC to come to our group too.  That's a huge honor to continue to sow into their lives as well.

I'm also thankful that God has given Ken a small raise and a few more hours at his job.  He got promoted to a manager position.  Every little bit helps.

Oh and another big PRAISE - I received a package in the mail from Amazon a few weeks back.  I had no idea who sent it.  It was some natural sleeping pills called U Dream.  About a week after I got it (I had not taken any yet) a friend asked me if I got her package... so then I felt ok to take the pills.  They are working!  I have tired everything under the sun for years to get sleep.  These pills actually give me 6 solid hours of sleep.     God is good.   So trusting He will provide for me to continue with them.

Our church has asked us to do a "gourmet cooking class".  They are starting a new summer series on food.... so one class is cooking desserts, two weeks later another on grilling and smoking and then two weeks later for us we will do 2 classes on gourmet.  So planning a small feast for about 20 people there...  kind of a stretch of our comfort zone... but excited to do it.

One more prayer request - My sister Lianne Abare was in the Linwood KS F4 Tornado.  She was about a block or two from the very destructive and violent part but did get some serious damage.  A big tree landed on our house, broke through the roof, limbs coming through. She had window
damage, porch & awning damage, ceilings, carpet, etc.  God sent some amazing people the first few days to do some emergency repair/fix... She has NO insurance because it's an older mobile home.  She has probably an additional 10k in repairs that need to be done.   If you feel led, PayPal.me/lianneabare.  We are praising God the storm didn't reach her direct.  She would of been dead being in the mobile home.  Others homes completely flattened.   So sad!
