Jesus Your My Only Hope

Poem
Written in the wee hours of 12/16/19.
I used to write poetry when I was younger....and then it stopped.
This morning, as I was deciding to get up or just lay in bed...the Lord put this  in my thoughts and then felt led to journal it.....and now post it.  This is the first poem I've written in many decades.

I wrote this for the many family, friends and acquaintances, who  are desperate for God's touch. My heart is burdened by the many saints that are in tremendous pain, health issues and suffering. For me it's been 35 years. Compassion and empathy run deep. Intercession for others has been a major part of my life for all of you who needs Jesus to touch you. My prayers is that today will be that day. Today will be a new day - the beginning of freedom from all you have had to endure.
May God's love overwhelm you and overtake the pain, the sickness in your body!!
12/16/19
Jesus Your My Only Hope!
Taking steps and yet..
Hedged in, can’t move forward, can’t move backward
Like a caged bird….with a broken wing. Trapped!
I want to fly but the storm is strong
and then but for a moment a spark of hope
and then the winds from the storm knock me down
They are too strong for me to stay afloat long
The embers need fuel
Hope is waning once again
Will this life be all I know
The promises are there, yet in this lifetime?
Will I ever know?
I keep hearing soon
But a day is like a thousand years
How much pain can one endure
How much sickness, clinging to his hem
How many sleepless nights
Don’t ask, you might just have to find out
Is this the life that’s been promised or just an imagination
Is it faith or wishful thinking
It’s been said I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living
How old will I be
How much longer must I wait
I barely enough to get through this moment
Let alone another day, week or year
So many faithful praying saints
Yet some giving up, tired too.
But He is faithful to bring new.
God’s grace sustains me - more like carries me anymore
He says His grace is enough and yet
I’d prefer to be moving on
Home is where my heart is
Unless He sparks my hope and fulfills the longings and desires He has placed there..
But do I long anymore? Is there any point?
God’s Word doesn’t fail
His promises are true
His love is never ending
Hurry Lord to my rescue
I’m weary. I can’t go on another minute
Without You breathing life into me once again
Take the enemy out with one loud Roar!
Do it Lord, for Your glory!
Your Word brings life
Your Truth doesn’t fail
Your Faithful
Your Loving
Your Kind
You are Compassionate
Have mercy on Your children
Bring me through as it will glorify Your name.
Say the word and I shall be healed
Jesus your my only hope!

So after I wrote this - I stopped and spent some time just listening to God.  I asked Him for a Scripture that would bring comfort...  Here's what He gave me.

God’s Constant Love

Psalm 107 TPT
107 Let everyone give all their praise and thanks to the Lord!
Here’s why—he’s better than anyone could ever imagine.
Yes, he’s always loving and kind, and his faithful love never ends.
2–3 So, go ahead—let everyone know it!
Tell the world how he broke through
and delivered you from the power of darkness and
has gathered us together from all over the world.
He has set us free to be his very own!
Some of us once wandered in the wilderness like desert nomads,
with no true direction or dwelling place.
Starving, thirsting, staggering,
we became desperate and filled with despair.
Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And he did!
He led us right into a place of safety and abundance,
a suitable city to dwell in.
So lift your hands and thank God for his marvelous kindness
and for all his miracles of mercy for those he loves.
How he satisfies the souls of thirsty ones
and fills the hungry with all that is good!
10 Some of us once sat in darkness,
living in the dark shadows of death.
We were prisoners to our pain, chained to our regrets.
11 For we rebelled against God’s word
and rejected the wise counsel of God Most High.
12 So he humbled us through our circumstances,
watching us as we stumbled, with no one there to pick us back up.
Our own pain became our punishment.
13 Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And he did!
14 His light broke through the darkness and
he led us out in freedom from death’s dark shadow
and snapped every one of our chains.
15 So lift your hands and give thanks to God for his marvelous kindness
and for his miracles of mercy for those he loves!
16 For he smashed through heavy prison doors and
shattered the steel bars that held us back, just to set us free!
17 Some of us were such fools, bringing on ourselves
sorrow and suffering all because of our sins.
18 Sick and feeble, unable to stand the sight of food,
we drew near to the gates of death.
19 Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And he did!
20 God spoke the words “Be healed,” and we were healed,
delivered from death’s door!
21 So lift your hands and give thanks to God for his marvelous kindness
and for his miracles of mercy for those he loves!
22 Bring your praise as an offering and your thanks as a sacrifice
as you sing your story of miracles with a joyful song.
23 Some of us set sail upon the sea to faraway ports,
transporting our goods from ship to shore.
24 We were witnesses of God’s power out in the ocean deep;
we saw breathtaking wonders upon the high seas.
25 When God spoke he stirred up a storm,
lifting high the waves with hurricane winds.
26–27 Ships were tossed by swelling sea, rising to the sky,
then dropping down to the depths,
reeling like drunkards, spinning like tops,
everyone at their wits’ end until even sailors despaired of life,
cringing in terror.
28 Then we cried out, “Lord, help us! Rescue us!” And he did!
29 God stilled the storm, calmed the waves,
and he hushed the hurricane winds to only a whisper.
30 We were so relieved, so glad as he guided us
safely to harbor in a quiet haven.
31 So lift your hands and give thanks to God for his marvelous kindness
and for his miracles of mercy for those he loves!
32 Let’s exalt him on high and lift up our praises in public;
let all the people and the leaders of the nation know
how great and wonderful is Yahweh, our God!
33 Whenever he chooses he can dry up a river
and turn the land into a desert.
34 Or he can take a fruitful land and make it into a saltwater swamp,
all because of the wickedness of those who dwell there.
35 But he also can turn a barren wilderness into an oasis with water!
He can make springs flow into desert lands
36 and turn them into fertile valleys so that cities spring up,
and he gives it all to those who are hungry.
37 They can plant their fields and vineyards there
and reap a bumper crop and gather a fruitful harvest.
38 God will bless them and cause them to multiply and prosper.
39 But others will become poor,
humbled because of their oppression, tyranny, and sorrows.
40 For God pours contempt upon their arrogant abuse of power,
heaping scorn upon their princes,
and makes them wander among ruins.
41 But he raises up the poor and lowly with his favor,
giving them a safe place to live where no one can touch them.
God will grant them a large family and bless them!
42 The lovers of God will rejoice when they see this.
Good men are glad when the evil ones are silenced.
43 If you are truly wise, you’ll learn from what I’ve told you.
It’s time for you to consider these profound lessons
of God’s great love and mercy!

Vision
God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.
The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord.
We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating people into the world & health and wellness retreats and more.

The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but better help them be ready to serve in their church.
In our community building - we will eventually have a 24/7 prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more souls into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.

Trust Fatigue

I haven't posted in a while.....

This article literally confirmed where my heart has been lately....  I hope it encourages you who are waiting on promises too.

http://elijahlist.com/words/display_word.html?ID=21841

"Do You Have Trust Fatigue? Take Heart! You Are Being Positioned"Cameron King, Monroe, Georgia

Recently, I was reading in 1 Samuel 27, where David and his men had left Israel to live in the land of the Philistines. David had grown tired of running from Saul and having to trust the Father day to day for his protection and direction. As I was reading this passage, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "Many of My people are suffering from trust fatigue." The moment He said this, I received a download and knew exactly what He meant.
Trust Fatigue
People with trust fatigue find themselves, just like David, in the land of the Philistines. They've been given promises, prophetic callings, and have been anointed for tasks they have yet to attain. They entered into the wilderness of preparation. They've learned, or are still learning, instant obedience, trust for provision, leadership abilities, and relational skills—even to the point of honoring those who don't appreciate them, or even desire to have them around.
If you have trust fatigue, then you've probably already seen victory after victory. You've even taken down a few giants. You've won some great battles and you have been faithful. Nevertheless, your victories have come with a price. The continual and never-ending battles have made you tired and fatigued. The victories are sweet, but they appear to come too slowly and have required incredible amounts of effort. When the victory is won and you have escaped with your life, the victory doesn't seem to have moved you toward your goal. It feels like you're still just randomly running around the desert.
You're believing for your destiny. You're trusting for your calling. You've set your faith on your goals and vision. Many of these things you didn't even ask for, but God called you to them. The prophet called you out. You have been walking in faith, but now your faith is tired.
If you have trust fatigue, you don't want to quit the journey. You just want to hit cruise control for a season. You need a break from the desert sun and the Sauls that keep chasing you around the desert. You just want a victory that looks like a step in the direction of where God said He was calling you. You just want to use your gifts, and lean into your talents, and have some fruitful ministry without a crisis. Your trust is tired.
Where Our Faith Ends, His Begins
In response, I asked the Lord, "What do You want me to do about this?" He told me, "Tell My faithful ones who have trust fatigue that My grace is available for them. I will renew and refresh their faith in the moment." He then told me to tell them about the process.
He said, "My timing is always longer than yours. You see, I'm more concerned about the process than the outcome. Just look at David and the difficulty of his preparation. He thought he was ready. Even with his difficult years of training, he still almost lost it all (2 Samuel 12:10). David thought he was ready when he was leading Saul's army, but if he was totally prepared, then he would not have failed in his later years (1 Samuel 18:5 and 1 Chronicles 21:1).
"Tell My people that My desire is for them to be able to keep what I give them. Help them understand that I desire for them to use their faith, sow their faith, and exhaust their faith. I want all the faith they can muster to die because when their faith dies, then that's when My faith begins.
"Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." (John 12:24)
He added, "And when they move in My faith, then the mountains are going to move."
"'Have faith in God,' Jesus answered. 'Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, "Go, throw yourself into the sea," and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in Heaven may forgive you your sins.'" (Mark 11:22-25)
Then He said, "Encourage My people, and tell them the victories that they have won are not random, but I am positioning them to reap their promise, and if they're faithful, then they will see their promises being fulfilled—in smaller measures at first, then at greater degrees as they continue in faithfulness."
My hope and prayer is that if you find yourself in a place of trust fatigue, that the Lord will refresh you and you'll be renewed in the process. Because the Body of Christ and the Kingdom of God needs you to be all that you can be. Go forth in God's faith in Jesus name.

The Merging of 2 Bible Promises are Being Manifested!

“Look at the nations and watch—
    and be utterly amazed.
For I am going to do something in your days
    that you would not believe,
even if you were told."  Habakkuk 1:5

What if I told you that God was about to do something so big, you wouldn't believe it until you saw it happen?  I believe that is what God is saying right NOW!!  This scripture is about to be played out in real time across the world!

In 2002, the Lord gave me this scripture.  I knew there was something majestic and powerful about it at that time, but I had no idea the capacity or even the reality of what it may look like.   I mean, how can you?  It clearly says, you wouldn't believe it, even if you were told.  The wait has felt long at times, as I'm sure it has for many of you too. I knew there was something majestic and powerful about it, the capacity and reality of such I couldn't comprehend.

The second Scripture verse I believe is converging with the promise above came to me two years ago.

Amos 9:13-15 The Message
“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.

“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel:

“They’ll rebuild their ruined cities.
They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine.
They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables.
And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land.
They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.”
God, your God, says so.

I believe God is melding these two PROMISES.  When the day comes that God pulls back the veil, there is going to be such an incredible THING happen in the world.  I have been seeing in my spirit such an amazing "event" for lack of a better term, something so big that when "IT" happens, the world is going to take notice.

I see people who have been believing for healing, be miraculously healed.  I mean like cancer, life threatening and chronic issues instantly be healed!  Nothing is too difficult for God.  Exodus 15:26 He said, "If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you."

  • I see people who have been waiting on God for unbelievable provision suddenly have it and are able to step into their purpose, call and destiny.  There is no dollar limit in God's economy.  There is so much wealth stored up for the righteous and God is about to make that transfer. Deuteronomy 8:18 And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may [a]establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

  • I see prodigals swiftly returning home and following Jesus wholeheartedly.  Sons, daughter, family, friends - those in deep darkness but who were "raised in the way a child should go"  come home!  Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

  • I see the world take notice!  Unbelievers will take notice.  Status quo believers will have to make a decision - the separating of wheat from chaff.  Matthew 3:12 He is ready to separate the chaff from the wheat with his winnowing fork.

  • I see the beginning of the GREAT HARVEST of SOULS!

What is this "EVENT"  - only the Lord knows!   When is this "EVENT" - only the Lord knows!  I am encouraged as I have seen many credible prophetic voices sharing similar messages.  It seems as the time of this “event” is NEAR.

I believe we have entered into a season where things are going to be so accelerated, mind boggling miracles become second nature.  A season that when we decree a thing, it happens instantly.  I believe we will see the Lord bring healing to the sick, the dying and those who are being held captive in such a powerful swift release.   I see so many sudden manifestations of the miraculous which brings the Lord’s glory.  You won’t believe it, until you SEE it.

I’ve been having dreams more often these past months. The dreams have been profound in what I believe is prophetic and symbolic of what’s coming.

In one dream, the interpretation was a stronghold of fear had been broken.  I believe there are many of us that are being held back by fear.  But the Lord is setting us free so that we can step into the fullness of our purpose, call and destiny.

Another dream recently, the interpretation was that those the Lord has called to be Joseph's, are finding favor and are being released NOW!  It's time for the Joseph's to prepare their places for the harvest.  One significant revelation in the dream was that the Lord said the name Soros.  Soros means "next in line" "designated successor" and "will soar".   George Soros represents evil and wickedness and also is one of the wealthiest men in the world.  When I awoke from that dream, I decreed that the wealth of the wicked Soros would transfer to the righteous to fund the Kingdom of God.

GOD IS ABOUT TO DO SOMETHING SO BIG -

WE WILL NOT BELIEVE IT UNTIL WE SEE IT!

I believe God is preparing us for this new season.  We have to be ready.  We have to be open to CHANGE!  Things are not going to be the same.  Life as we know it now, is not going to look as it does now.  Are you ready?  Is your heart and mind steeped in the Word of God?  Time is short.  We must be ready!

The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever.” Isaiah 40:8
