Three Simple Words That Can Transform Your Life!

3 simple words that can transform your life!

Do you deal with chronic pain or health issues?  Do you have a marriage or a relationship that challenges your spiritual walk?  Maybe you have been in bondage to debt and never seem to be able to keep your head above water?  Or maybe it's been a little of all of these.

How often have you read a Scripture verse over and over or heard it spoken to you, yet it seems lifeless...it doesn't seem to have any meaning to you?  Have you ever wondered why others use that same verse and can stand on the promise God speaks through it?  I've often asked that question.  The Word says it's living and active so why not every time we read it, does it not comfort us?

What I have learned over the years is that it's when you need it most, that is when the Holy Spirit breathes on a particular verse and it comes to life in your heart and begins to permeate every fiber of your being.  That's when it brings the hope of promise and can transform your life.

I don't know about you but I can tell you my life has been nothing but challenging in just about every way.  I've experienced physical, emotional, sexual abuse and even spiritual abuse.  I've dealt with multiple chronic illnesses and chronic pain for 27+ years.  Through these circumstances, I learned at a very early age that it is almost impossible to trust anyone.  I have formed judgements about people, mostly myself and have come to expect that good won't come to me.  I believed that I must of done something to deserve all this. I turned all these bad things inward and blamed myself.  But the worst thing is, is that my heart became hardened to receive God's love and the love of others.

For years, I have been walking with the Lord and meditating on His Word - "trying" to renew my mind but yet my heart wouldn't believe.  I kept praying, repenting and seeking God.  I prayed often, I believe, but help me with my unbelief.

Have you heard the song by Jesus Culture - Your Love Never Fails - You can listen to it by clicking this link.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_2qG22SPwU but hit your back browser once done to return here.  In the bridge part of the song it says - "You make all things work together for my good".   This little jingle has been constant in my head.

The Lord has had me meditate on Romans 8:28-39.  I've been reading the Amplified version:  (emphasis mine in bold).  These are verses I have read a million times (well, maybe not that many) but up until now, they had no life.

We are assured and know that [[a]God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.
29 For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was [b]aware and[c]loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.
30 And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].
31 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]
32 He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely andgraciously give us all [other] things?
33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?]
34 Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?
35 Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword?
36 Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things[e]impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers,
39 Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I asked the Lord many times why can't I truly receive your love? Why can't I believe You have good for me?  What do I have to do in order to get my healing?  Is there something I am missing?  And He said - My timing, for My Glory!

This is the Scripture He gave me John 9:3......
Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.

The Lord has been coming to me in visions and dreams answering my prayers and the cry of my heart.  Healing is coming to my heart....and I believe my physical body as well!

Ezekial 36:26
And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Praise the name of Jesus Christ!
