For as long as I can remember, the table has been the center of our home and our hearts. We’ve cooked for thousands over the years—family, friends, neighbors, celebrations, quiet evenings, and everything in between. And no matter the occasion, I’ve learned this to be true: when people are fed well, they feel loved.

At Michele & Ken's Table is a place where elegant cooking is made easy, gatherings are meaningful, and meals are prepared with intention. My hope is that every recipe you make here leaves you and those you serve nourished in body and soul.

My approach to cooking

I love gourmet food—but I believe it should be approachable. The kind of food that looks beautiful on the plate, tastes unforgettable, and still allows you to enjoy your guests instead of being stuck in the kitchen.

My recipes are known for bold, unexpected flavor combinations—what my friends lovingly call “a tastebud explosion.” You’ll find dishes that feel special enough for date night or entertaining, yet forgiving enough for real life.

I care deeply about:

Hospitality at the heart

Hospitality is more than setting a pretty table—it’s creating a space where people feel welcome, seen, and cared for. Whether you’re cooking for two or hosting a full table, we want you to feel confident opening your door and sharing a meal.

My husband and I believe the table is holy ground.

Over the years, we’ve welcomed not only dear friends and family, but often total strangers—people who arrive as guests and leave feeling known. After the meal, as we linger and truly listen to one another, we love to pray for those at our table. We listen for God’s voice and gently share what we sense He may be saying—words of encouragement, hope, and care.

These moments are never forced and never performative. They are simply an overflow of love. Time and again, we’ve watched hearts soften, burdens lift, and people realize they are seen by God.

Faith, gratitude, and prayer shape how I cook and host. You’ll feel that spirit here—not as something loud or heavy, but as a quiet, steady presence woven through everything.

Vision

God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.  

The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord. 

We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating people into the world & health and wellness retreats and more.  

The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but better help them be ready to serve in their church. 

In our community building - we will eventually have a 24/7 prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.  

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more souls into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.
