Rest, Rest, Rest!

In this blog:
About us!

Psalm 116:7 “Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.”

Just a quick update...we are now in Excelsior Springs, MO which is our temporary housing until the house we are going to rent in El Dorado Springs, MO becomes available (sometime around the first week of Feb).  The house we are in is a blessing!  It's clean, recently rehabbed, fully furnished other than the kitchen (which we brought our kitchen & pantry stuff).  The dogs are acclimating finally.  It's a little cold for Ken as there is no fence so he has been having to walk Blazer.  Canyon is easier and handles the stake in the ground fine!  Oh, did I tell you, I have NOT had a migraine for the entire 9 days we have been here!  No meds!  Whoohoo!  Praise God!

We are kind of isolated up here but it's been a great time to REST!  That's all we seem to be doing is resting, sleeping and more rest.  Somedays have found ourselves getting into our pj's at 4:30 and to bed by 8:30.  We are plum exhausted from the move.  We are thankful for the time to rest!! This short little detour we believe is God giving us time to get a 2nd wind so we will be ready to unpack when the movers bring our things to El Dorado once we get there.

We did enjoy going to a house church up in Lathrop MO last Saturday night.  The Lord blessed us with some great encouragement and prophetic direction.  Refreshing!  Aahhhh!  And our quiet time with the Lord has been sweet.  Love that we are both hearing His voice more often again!

Thank you to those checking in on us.

We are dreaming of a nice tropical hut vacation..... ha!  Isn't everyone about now?

The Lord is stirring a word in me to share with all of that unfolds and I can articulate it, will blog again.

Please keep us in prayer that this time of rest will bring complete healing to my body.  I am having tons of pain, of course, the exhaustion and still not sleeping a full night.  Pray that there will be no hiccups and all will go smoothly from here to our new location in Eldo.

If you have been blessed by this ministry or feel led to support what God is doing through us - financially, below are a few options.  Your generosity and your prayer support is greatly appreciated and needed as we continue to walk in faith and God's calling.

About us:

Ministry -
Ken and I love to pray for folks who need a touch from the Lord - with words of encouragement, words of knowledge and a healing touch.  If you are someone in need, please let us know.  We also have a passion to activate and influence believers to walk in radical obedience to a fun and wonderful God!  There is just nothing like it!

If you are interested in Ken and I coming to minister to you, your small group or church, or go on a "treasurehunt" with us, please give us a call or email.  We would be delighted to!

Business -
Our LLC is official - Want InSight Chaplain Services.  We still have many things that need to be done, logo design, website, etc.... waiting on God to provide the resources and further direction.

In the meantime,  would you please help us?  Do you know of an employer who often experiences high absenteeism due to the employees having personal issues?  Or maybe has little employee engagement due to struggles on or off the job?  We can help with that.
We are looking for companies who truly care about their employees and want to offer a business enrichment program that can increase productivity, improve employee and employer morale and provide a safe and emotionally health work environment.  If you know of someone who may be interested, would you be willing to give us an introduction?    We are determined and blessed to have this opportunity to create a cultural change in the workplace!
