Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
As you know if you've been reading this blog for the past month or so, is that Ken and I feel the Lord has called us to move to El Dorado Springs, MO. We have had numerous signs and confirmations and are taking steps that direction. We have been looking for housing there for the past 6 weeks or so - no rentals are liveable, doable or otherwise. In the natural we cannot buy a home unless God provides but have found a couple homes we would consider IF/WHEN He does! We felt led to get a PO Box in El Dorado this past weekend while we were there so at least our mail can be forwarded somewhere!
We are 6 days away from having to move out! Our buyers asked if they could take possession earlier! We were originally planning on moving out this Saturday with the help of some friends, but have changed gears and have decided to hire movers instead. It's an expense we didn't really want to incur but with Ken and I both having the flu and the clock is ticking to finish packing, we thought this best. And the move is going to be a big job! We had several companies out - we are talking a semi truck or 2 - 26' trucks. Wow! We tried selling things, but didn't have much success.... so assuming God knows we will have need of those things in our new place.
We feel the Lord has shown us that He has a house for us there and the provision has been made. We feel we are to just rest in Him, wait on Him and watch Him do His thing! Believe it or not, we have peace through all this. We are not discouraged or fearful like we/I was previously. Oh, of course, we still are asking God to reveal the home sooner vs later. Every imaginable thought of logistics that need to be worked out are still running around my Type A brain. I believe God has increased grace for us for this last week.......as we wait! (The sickness we could do without but who knows, it's forcing us to REST!!!!)
The Lord brought to mind the familiar story about Joshua and Caleb. They were sent into the land the Lord was giving them to check it out. There were others that went to and many returned back saying there were too many giants and they got fearful. Joshua and Caleb came back and said they could take the land. God directed them to this land and therefore with the right heart attitude, they were able to conquer any giants (fears, concerns and things that seemed impossible). We are choosing this posture.
We have many giants in this past month and little by little as we step out in faith, continuing to move forward, we conquer each one. Of course, it's only by God's grace and great folks like you who continuously hold us in prayer, among other nice things you have done for us!
However, there are some who think we fell off our rocker having only a week to move and no place to go. We prefer to call it blind faith. Walking by faith, not by sight! We are trusting God to lead us to wherever He wants us to go.
Hebrews 11:6 ....and without faith it is impossible to please God...
Thank you again for your ongoing prayers and support for what God is doing in us and through us. We are excited to see how this all works out....and soon enough we will know! God's timing - for His glory! Halleluiah!

Business -
Our LLC is official - Want InSight Chaplain Services. We still have many things that need to be done, logo design, website, etc.... waiting on God to provide the resources and further direction.
