Are You Being Led Astray?

You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? Galatians 5:7

Is there a person you know and love that is a gifted Bible teacher?  Maybe someone in your life that you can trust whatever he or she says?

Do you think it's possible that you could be led astray by this person? Most wouldn't even consider this option.

Casting Crowns has a song that really spoke to me when I first heard it years ago.  Here's just an excerpt from the lyrics -

As darkness pulls the strings

Be careful little feet where you go
For it's the little feet behind you
That are sure to follow
It's a slow fade
When you give yourself away
It's a slow fade
When black and white have turned to grey
Songwriters: John Mark Hall
Slow Fade lyrics © My Refuge Music, Be Essential Songs

Over the years, friends would text me and say "you need to watch so and so".  Often I had never even heard of them.  Before I would consider watching, I would pray and the Lord would give me discernment.  More often than not, He would tell me NO.   I wouldn't know why in that moment, but over time, I would be shown.   The same is true for people we used to have at our house for ministry meetings.  People we love and trust.  The Lord had us fade away from some of these folks.  I began seeing some odd things.  Things that didn't settle with my spirit.  Again, caution from the Lord.

Now you don't always throw the baby out with the bath water, but instead pray for them.  Pray for their eyes to be opened.  Pray for God to reveal HIs truth to them so that they will not continue in a path of deception and for others not to be led astray.   That's what I'm being called to in this season.   In 2014 the Lord showed me to pray for blind eyes open and deaf ears open and over the past almost 10 years, He has revealed more and more deception in the Church and in our world.
One of the things the Lord showed me early on in my walk was not to hop from conference to conference, prophetic or otherwise.  I was to seek Him on whether I could go or not.   I see so many people that are "conference/prophetic" groupies.   They want the next "now" word.  Facebook is horrific for this.  Every person  thinks they are a prophet.  Feel good words that could apply to just about anyone.  The sad part is the followers of these people  grab onto these words and end up becoming hopeless and discouraged because they didn't come to fruition as "prophesied".  The other thing I hear about lately from every "voice" out there is we are in a new era.  God is doing a new thing and they are the only ones God is giving revelation too.  And they want you to buy into this new revelation!

Ecclesiastes 1:9 says there is NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN.    Are these people glorifying God or glorifying man?  Are they lifting up the name of Jesus or are they talking about what they can do?  I wouldn't want to hear this when I arrive in heaven - Matthew 7:21-23
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!
I love the prophetic.  I love it when God reveals His heart and character to someone.  I love the transformation, the healing and the fruit it brings.  I am not against it.  What I am not excited about is when "ministers" have people crawling around on the floor looking for gold dust or feathers coming out of nowhere.   God may allow for these manifestations on rare occasions but I'm pretty confident we aren't to be on the floor looking for them.
Many are being led astray.  They are being taught they can project themselves into other places - that's called astral projection and if you do the research on that - it's demonic.  It's not of God.   Here's a good article on it https://www.crosswalk.com/faith/bible-study/what-does-the-bible-say-about-astral-projection.html     Another real concern is that people are being told they can go to heaven anytime they want.   Again, this is something that God may do but it's rare.  It's not something to be sought after.  This simply is not healthy!   Doors get opened by doing this stuff - wrong doors - and they are doors YOU won't be able to close when you realize the Truth about it.  Only God will be able to shut the doors for you.  It will take repentance and some deliverance ministry.   Oh this stuff sounds good and might even look good.   It might even bring some initial "fruit" like say a smile or joy, but is there lasting fruit - fruit that lines up with the Scripture.  Does it bring transformation to your life in a godly way?   Does it bring healing to an area of your life?
I know people who have been "translated" but it wasn't because they asked for it.  It was because God wanted to use them somewhere else.  I don't doubt these experiences, because I feel I might have had one.  I remember one night I was lying in bed, half asleep half not.  Suddenly I was on what was called the Gaza Strip.  I was standing on a street corner and I was praying against a suicide bomber not 50' from me.   The next morning when I got on my computer, back in the days yahoo had a ticker running across the bottom of my screen and it caught my eye.  It said "suicide bomber" was diverted on the Gaza Strip.   Wow!!  Now was I there?  I don't know.  Was I dreaming? Maybe.  The experience was very real.  But it was all God!  It had nothing to do with me seeking it out.  All I knew was I felt led to pray against the bomber and I did and it was diverted. I had never heard of the Gaza Strip prior to this.  Ken has had several experiences where he felt like he was in heaven and each time there was healing, cleansing, deliverance and such an awe of the Lord Jesus.  They might have been visions or a dream or real.  Only God knows.  The fruit was the evidence of it being legitimate.

The Bible is clear that many will be deceived in the last days!   That means even the ones you know and trust.   It is so vital to ask the Lord for the gift of discerning of spirits and to seek wisdom in your decisions.  Even decisions about who you listen to, follow or even the church you go to.   Who you surround yourself with will have a direct impact on your walk with the Lord, good or bad!!

The Christian must have a spiritual radar that detects the difference not only between bad and good but also among good, better, and best.

          —Dennis Swanberg

Discernment is not just recognizing the good, better, best or bad, but it's also not doing what the Word of God says.  Many are deceived because of their own lack of understanding, lack of obedience to the Word.   The Bible is not just a book we can pick and choose what we want.  Each verse is a promise, a command and an instruction of how we should live, be and act!

We also have to get our eyes OFF of the gifts and the manifestations of the gifts but instead.....

Keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.  We need to spend time in His Presence, getting back to our first love!  We need to get back to the HOLY FEAR OF THE LORD. The awe of the LORD!!  We need to know His Word so much that if someone says something, we will immediately recognize it's not of God.    As we abide in the Lord, we bear fruit John 15.  When we are washed in the Word, our life reflects it, our actions and words manifest godly things.  Signs and wonders will follow - but we need to be sanctified in Truth!

My prayer is that in these last days, we will ALL seek the Lord on a deeper level than we've ever known.  That God will open our eyes and give us great wisdom and discernment.   And if you recognize something is off, pray for that person.  Pray for those following them.  Ask the Lord to intervene!!

Prayer/Praise

Ken - please pray for Ken to have continuous work through the winter.

Michele - please continue to pray for healing.

Ministry -  God has been giving us some pinpoint words of knowledge for others and have seen instant healing.  We are continuing to go deeper with our Church and homegroup - and growing.

Praise - Love Montana more than I can express.  I thank God almost daily for the views, the people and the simpler life.   I do miss my KC restaurants and some conveniences... so if you're coming for a visit, don't be surprised if I have you bring a care package.  :)

I am so thankful for those who reach out and ask me to pray.  It's such an honor.     Recently at church a testimony came forth someone was healed of cancer who was on hospice.  They said the Lord took them to heaven in a vision and showed her it was because of the prayers of the Saints.

Let's keep praying for each other!

 Hugs, love and prayers.

Vision

God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.

The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord.

We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating people into the world & health and wellness retreats and more.

The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but better help them be ready to serve in their church.

In our community building - we will eventually have a 24/7 prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more souls into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.

What Is on Your Bucket List?

Proverbs 16:3 - Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

What is on your bucket list?

What is a bucket list - A bucket list is a list of the experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime.

Typically you might see travel, or start a hobby, fears to overcome or foods you want to try.  If you Google it, you'll find so many ideas people put on their list.  It's almost become "hip" or puts you "in the know" if you have a bucket list.

I'm going to switch gears a minute but I promise you, I'll come back to this and tie it all together.

These past few weeks (really much longer) I have noticed patterns in people, in things written on social media, in words, in behaviors and actions.   I've been seeing and hearing commitments being broken, loyalty wavering and integrity just going out the window.  For those that don't know Jesus, that can be, maybe normal or even expected......however for the believer, that should not be the case.  Culture is changing rapidly and declining in every moral & ethical way.  Many "believers" are following along with the "world".   Oh, we may go to church and read our bible and pray, but are we really committed to following Christ and His way.  Are we truly being a "doer" of the Word of God.

The verse above says if we commit our works to the Lord, our plans will be established.  I researched what this actually means (having a really good idea) and I found on Bible Reference an excellent definition that speaks volumes....

"The best chance for success comes when plans are aligned with truth.

That means those who submit to God's will and seek Him

are in a better position

 than those who ignore or reject Him."

If we are choosing to seek God daily for what His plans are, listen and act on those, then we would know what to commit to and do it, or what not to do.

These next examples are not meant to be offendable, but to make a point.

Recently,  I came across a situation where a person invited another out for a special lunch.  They set a date and then the person who invited the other said something like "well, if God would have me to do something else, we may have to reschedule"    What that sounded like to me was if something better comes along, I will cancel.

Another recent thing I saw played out was someone asked for help getting to a medical appointment.  The other person said yes, they could take them.  Later that night they got a text from that person saying they couldn't take them after all because they had a bible study to attend.  My two cents again would be the other person felt studying the Bible was more important than actually living the Bible out.

Am I off base for having these reactions?   Is this warranted?

Now let's talk about that.  Do you have a home group or bible study that you attend on a weekly basis?  Are you committed to it?  Do you often make excuses as to why you can't attend? Maybe you felt the need to go shopping beforehand and you just don't have the energy to go?  Or maybe someone invites you out for a meal, do you say sure and put the bible study on the back burner?  I completely understand if an emergency comes up, or there's a need that needs to be met - say taking a friend to the doctor or you have a sick child or something that just isn't in the normal routine.  I'm not a legalist.  I'm not saying that.  What commitments do we make knowingly - and then not stay committed too?

Someone once said to me as a new believer, committing to something might require you take something else off your plate to free up your schedule.  Often we over extend ourselves.  We need to pray and seek God in every commitment we make.  He will lead us on a path that will be rewarding, fulfilling and non-chaotic!

Here's my point.   As Christians.  As people who love the Lord or say we do, our actions need to line up with that.   If we truly are following Christ - an interruption  to help another is one I believe He would be thrilled about.  If we make a commitment, I believe God would want us to honor that barring any emergency or something random.   Relationship with Jesus and others are really the two most important things He tells us in Scripture.   He desires us to study His Word - but to also live out the Word in real time.  If someone texts you or calls you to pray - do you pray right then?   If someone needs assistance and you are able to help, do you do it?  Even know this next passage talks about those who are naked and poor, it really means, the Body of Christ or anyone for that matter  - rich or poor, hungry or not.

Matthew 25:35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

What's on your bucket list?  What do your priorities look like?  Does your bucket list line up with loving God and loving others first?   I'm not saying you can't have a bucket list that meets some desires, because I do believe God often puts those desires in our heart and He wants us to find joy in different things.  What I'm saying however, is God and His will and His ways your ways and your plan?  There is much to be done in the Kingdom of God before He returns?

We need to be about our Father's Business and all other things will fall into place, Matthew 6:33

I don't mean condemnation by this.  I'm just being obedient to highlight what the Lord has been showing me.  I have been hearing this from others and seeing posts on social media talking about commitment or lack of.  I'm definitely not the only one feeling this.  So, I am calling this a pandemic of Christian character.   I saw this quote today and decided to make a graphic from it and add in the Scripture that sums it all up.

"There is something wrong with your character if opportunity controls your loyalty.  Author unknown.

Matthew 5:37 Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ Anything more comes from the evil one.

Jesus had a bucket list getting to the cross.  Every day He was interrupted and unoffendable.  He chose to stop and care for people and cultivate relationship.   He still completed His bucket list - He made it to the cross for us!   If He hadn't stopped for the multitudes of interruptions, how much would have been missed?  Are we willing to be interrupted from our check list of things that need to be done for Him as well.  His sacrifice is far greater than anything we may have to give up.

I think every believers bucket list should have the following on it:

1.  Love God & Love Others - well!

2.  Be part of an authentic community.  Love, acceptance, family, accountability, correction, teaching and fellowship.

3.  Make Integrity, Community, Commitment & Relationship a priority - if you're doing #1, you're probably doing this.

I'm thankful for those who reach out asking for prayer!   Please let me know how I can pray for you.

Praise/Prayer

1. God blessed us with a 4 day trip to Flathead Lake - to stay in someones studio apt on the lake at no charge.  It was such a wonderful time admiring the beauty of the lake and the mountains.   This was our view!

2. As always, please pray for health.  Blood tests being done to further diagnose some other out of range blood test.  Pray for God to completely heal me of ALL these afflictions!  So weary!

3. Pray for Ken endurance and for a full work week as we move into colder temps.

4. Thankful for ALL God is doing seen and unseen!

Be Careful What You Watch! Trafficking!

I will set no base or wicked thing before my eyes. I hate the work of them who turn aside [from the right path]; it shall not grasp hold of me.  Psalm 101:3

What do you watch on TV?  At the movies? On the internet?

Recently the Sound of Freedom movie came to theaters.  It's a movie about trafficking.  It exposes the darkest ugliest crime on humanity, mostly woman and children.  It exposes how evil man can be.   I did not go see this move mostly due to a check in my spirit. (this article I have not fact checked yet but still confirms what the check was in my spirit - https://julieroys.com/opinion-sound-of-freedom-doesnt-tell-true-story-of-operation-underground-railroad/?mc_cid=d0cda8de77&mc_eid=c4e7607c65)   I have seen other similar storylines in the years past.  I understand the importance that the movie is trying to convey and that is to bring something so dark into the light and to hopefully influence people to become involved in stopping this horrific evil!

When we first got saved in 2002, the Lord told us to turn off the TV.  We were not to watch anything on the TV including the news.  We were obedient.    For 10+ years we did not watch TV.  We occasionally went to a movie but only if it was faith based.  We screen everything we watch on Dove Movie Review, Commonsense Media or others that tell us what's in the movie.  If it has any kind of foul language, violence, nudity or even cleavage or uses God's name in vain, we will not watch it.  That is our conviction.

Over the last 10 years or so we slowly added some shows back in.  We stream Hallmark and faith-filled movies.  That has been a way for us to unwind in the evening.  It helps us to detach from the stresses of the day and fill our minds with something maybe inspiring or at least uplifting.    Unfortunately, the dynamics of ALL movies being produced these days are being flooded with every evil agenda.  Hallmark isn't so family friendly anymore.  Even faith-filled movies are pretty provocative and becoming more lax and loose on what they show.

I want to make two points.....

1.  What are we filling our minds with?  What are we allowing into our eyes and ears?  Is it godly?  Is it evil?   Would we watch it if Jesus was sitting next to us?   Do you realize that when we support Hollywood, we are supporting trafficking?   That leads me to point 2.

2.  Trafficking is a lucrative business.  It not only involves the taking of innocent women and children to be used and abused and often ends in death.   It is what funds drugs, Hollywood, violent crimes and a whole host of other things that would curl your toes.

I am getting convicted once again, to turn off the TV, to stop supporting Hollywood and that even includes Angel Productions which produced Sound to Freedom and The Chosen.  These organizations are not godly.  They do not have Biblical Christian Values.   When we did this years ago.... we had the most fun.  God would send us out and use us mightily to make a difference in people's lives.   I have been praying and asking God to help me have that again and His response is turn off the TV once again.

A friend and prophet once told us, let your money do the talking.  If we want to make a difference and be part of God's end-time army, we need to stop supporting evil.    I was first introduced to this when I was in the mortgage business and part of Kingdom Advisors.  It's a ministry to equip financial professionals on how to be better stewards.  They introduced us all to another ministry called Biblically Responsible Investing.   They showed us how many of the companies are in big support of evil practices, supporting porn and things that are totally against the Scriptures.  We need to be mindful of where we spend our monies.   We can't be sold out to the Lord and have one foot in Satan's camp.

Our lives must be in complete alignment with the Truth of God's Word.   Our words and our actions must scream to a broken and hurting world that we are set apart, that we look different than the crowd.   Jesus wants to use us to reach the great harvest but if we are busy being like the world, we will have no impact.

Some questions to ponder....

1.  Look at your checkbook - where is your money going?  Is it going to support Kingdom projects and ministries? Is it supporting those in need?  Or is it funding me, me, me.   Ouch!

2.  Look at what you watch and listen to - is it godly?  Is it supporting bible based Christian values?

3.  Look at your day to day activities - how is your time spent?  Are we living out the gospel to a lost world?  Are we reaching out to fellow believers and encouraging them and helping through difficult times?

4.  Last but definitely not least - how much time are we actually spending studying, memorizing and putting the Word of God into practice?   This should be our priority. Matthew 6:33.   This is a must!  God must be first in our lives.

I know this blog is probably a little debbie-downer but one that I felt the Lord asked me to share.  There is no condemnation or judgement but hopefully just the Holy Spirit speaking through me to bring Truth and light to very gray area in the Christian faith.    I certainly don't have it mastered but I will say I strive daily to be a doer of the Word.  I make choices every day and throughout the day to be more godly, to be more bible-acting-believing-light filled to a lost world.   I want to be so full of Jesus that people will say I want what she has.  I want others to know Jesus.

Please message me your prayer requests....as I do spend much time interceding for many.

Praise/Prayer....

Ken has been keeping full time hours this summer and it's a hot one.  We are thankful for the work.  Please pray for his safety as up on roofs and high ladders and in scorching heat.

Our home group is still going wonderfully.... we so love the fellowship and authenticity it brings.

Book update - I have submitted a query application to a book publisher about a week ago.  My pastor's wife suggested I send it there. She has had 4 books published through them.  If I hear back in the next 30 days, they are interested, if not, we wait and seek God for an open door and the finances to publish through self-publishing.   I am beginning to actually write my 2nd book.  I had been collecting research and quips to put in the book.   I will be looking for stories for that one as well.  More to come.

We are still contending for the Vision God has given us.

Thankful for Montana - the beautiful views - mountains, creeks and big blue sky!  Thankful for all God is doing in our lives!   Thankful for YOU!

Hugs, love and prayers.

It's Is Finished!

“Let the kindness of the Lord our God be over us. Make the work of our hands last. Make the work of our hands last!”   Psalm 90:17

Have you ever had a big project to do and when it was done, you were over the top excited?   A sense of accomplishment, maybe?  A tasks to check off your list as complete!

I don't know exactly when but back around 2007 or so, the Lord put it on my heart to write a book.  He even gave me the book title.

I began to write the book, well at least spit out some thoughts about each chapter and some rough chapter titles.  I had some scriptures sprinkled on the pages.  I had at least started it.  I was having so much trouble writing because I'm one who wants to correct grammar, punctuation, etc as I write.  Well, that meant I might get a paragraph or two written all day!  LOL!!!   It seemed as if I wasn't making much progress and that wasn't fun.  I'm the kind of person who likes to start things, fire-starter, but leave the finishing to someone else.

That's not necessarily what one can do when writing a book, so I procrastinated and procrastinated.  My health crashed after that and there was just no way I could get back to it.

Just a few months ago, I was sitting around feeling like God wanted me to get back to writing this book.  I prayed and I said Lord, if You want me to do this, i need help.  I need someone who can let me spit out the words and they do the editing and whatever else needed to be done.  And He did just that.  I can't tell you much more on this because, it's one of the stories in the book.  You'll just have to get the book when it comes out!

Anyways, three months ago, we started this journey together and TODAY, we finished the writing part.  She is finishing up the final edits and we do have another story or two that is coming in to be inserted, but the book is written.

We are about ready to send it to two "editors" to do their part.  Will also be sending it to a few people who will be writing the forward and some endorsements.  God has given me so much favor in this area and I am thankful. The editors have offered to do it FREE of charge!   That's huge!

Here's where I need additional support and prayer.  I have researched and have spoken to many who have gone before me that are authors.  A publishing company (self-publish) is the most economical and best way to go these days for many reasons.  But they still cost!!   Additionally, it costs to have the books printed.  I also felt like the Lord gave me a specific amount to pay my friend who was invested much time with me on it.   This is a chunk of money I don't have, yet!  I say yet, because God inspired this book and so I know He will provide!   I'm just super stoked to send it to the publisher!

I am soliciting YOUR prayers for the provision to GET PUBLISHED!  And if by chance the Lord would put it on your heart to sow into this book project, that would be wonderful!!!   No pressure.  If so, please reach out to me so I can suggest a way to send funds and be sure it's tied to the book funding.   Thank you in advance for prayers and/or financial support!

Even more exciting is that God has given me THREE more books to write.

The 1st one - is on prayer - something  you've prayed for and how God answered it - or didn't.  This is the one I just finished.

2nd - is on how our words and actions as Christians can impact others

3rd - is on Giving

4th - is my life.

I have much work ahead of me and believe it or not, I'm already motivated and ready to get started... and so is my friend who is helping!  God is good!

~~~~~
On another note, my sister Jackie is moving from Kansas City to Hamilton, MT here next week. She leaves there on Tuesday and here on Friday!   This is a huge huge big step for her - but also a very big part of "next steps" towards destiny.  Too much to share here.    Please pray for her safe travels & for all that she has need of to get here!
We are still believing God for the BIG VISION He gave us... and there have been many "things" that seem to be lining up.  Still don't have timing.... but we must be getting closer.
Prayer points -
Prayer for Ken and endurance with job.  Thankful he got some overtime this week, though his body feels it.  He had to work outside in colder temps.  We dropped down into the 30's this week overnight.  I think we may see spring, or maybe summer temps later this week.  Not ready for summer.  I want spring! :)
Prayer for me - for my health - still much chronic pain and sleep issues.  Thankful for some sleep - believing for the complete healing as promised!
Prayer for finances - We are still very dependent on the Lord for day to day provision.  He is faithful!
Our home group is going strong.  We all so look forward to meeting each week.
Thank you for your love and support of us and all that God is doing.  We are thankful for those of you who pray for us.
Hugs, love and prayers.
Joyful Shouting Will Come!
Nehemiah 12:43 And on that day they offered great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. The sound of rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard far away.
Have you ever found yourself waiting on God to fulfill a promise He has spoken to you?  When will that day come?
Today, my reading was in Nehemiah 12.  I don't know whether it was lack of sleep or lack of focus from lack of sleep, but I was not "getting" anything from the passage.   So I went to journaling where I poured out my cries and heart to the Lord once again.   Blah blah blah - really!  I wonder if He gets tired of hearing from me.   I said Lord, I am tired.  I am weary on so many levels.  You have promised this and promised that and YET I still have not seen the answers, the promises fulfilled.
I'm the persistent widow day in day out crying out.  I'm the lady clinging to the hem of Jesus's garment.  I'm the one leper that always comes back and gives God thanks and praise for something He has done.  I'm the centurion with great faith trusting He will bring forth healing.  I'm Abraham surrendering my Isaac to the Lord repeatedly.  I'm the one my 4 friends are lowering on the mat through the roof.  I'm Job wondering what chapter I'm in of that book and hoping its the last one. I'm Elijah being fed by a raven.   I'm Lazarus at times wondering if Jesus will come before I die. I'm Joseph pit, prison and waiting.  I'm Thomas saying I won't believe until I see.   I'm Moses wandering in the wilderness for now 38 years... trying hard to not murmur and complain.   I feel like some of the minor prophets having to "experience" the word that God has given them to share with His people.
All of these and others had to experience long waits.  They had to wait forever it seemed for God to come through, for God to rescue them, for God to heal them, for God to take them into their promised land, for the promises to be made manifest.   I am no different - and most likely you aren't either.
So after I journaled much of what I just wrote... the Lord said look up some commentary on Nehemiah 12.  I stumbled on this blog below.  As I read it, it seemed as if the Lord wanted me to find this blog.  He was reassuring me, that He is working behind the scenes.  He is working things for my good.  And He will for you too.
----
https://www.thewarehouse.blog/nehemiah-12/
“When the Lord brought back the captive ones of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joyful shouting; then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us; We are glad. Restore our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.”
Psalm 126
It seemed like a dream.  The people of captivity had not only served their God-ordered time through being in exile, God had begun the process of restoration.  The temple was built.  The walls were complete.  The city of Jerusalem was safe.  Nehemiah brought all the Levites together, had massive amounts of choirs who through the dedication of the wall was a time of celebration.  I’m sure they never believed it would happen.
But it did.  And it came in God’s timing.
There are things we each hold to or wonder, will it ever happen?  There are countless tears we’ve cried over situations, people and our own life of regret.  We’re like those who dream.  Dream of something that is so far beyond our reach and seems to be impossible.
This lifetime brings a lot of sowing in tears.  Heartache is a constant.  Sadness and loneliness can be suffocating.  Disappointment often bites at our heels.  We stare into the future and think things will never change, people will never change, our life will never change.  What’s interesting to consider:
Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.
As the Psalm states, as the one who weeps is still sowing.  They’re scattering seed as they go even in deep sadness.  It’s really something to think about.  They don’t stop doing what they’ve been called to do.  In season and out of season, they continue their job.
God has the greatest ability to restore things that once were burnt up, broken, desolate.  Forest fires in time see new growth.  Broken bones heal.  And as much as it sounds cliche, God is able to bring good from any tragedy we are experiencing.
If we don’t have hope, then what do we have?  Some may be at a point of quitting.  Others may be in the mindset of ‘what’s the use?’  Darkness in some situation may be thick.  Beyond what the situation
dictates cling to, hold to, remind yourself that in time God’s great harvest of joy is coming.
-----
What really caught my eye was the part which says, the one who weeps is still sowing. They are scattering seed.  They don't stop doing what they've been called to do.  That is true with me.  Though I am contending for my healing, for the financial provision for the vision, I am still doing all that God has asked.   I am thankful for the people along the way who encourage me with kind words amazed at all I do despite the suffering....  It's those little things that strengthen me.
My point with all this is this - just as it said - keep doing what you know that God has asked of you (whether that's a knowing in your heart, or simply what the Word of God asks us to do).   Stay in faith.  I don't always agree with the statement "His timing is perfect" but when it comes, hindsight will make sense of this.  It always does.   He will do what He says!!
God has spoken to me often - that when the dream is realized, when the promises come forth, I'll say repeatedly pinch me to see if this is real.  And He says "they" will know that I AM the Lord your God! I cannot wait for that day!
Prayer & Praises -
Ken - please continue to pray for Ken - strength and endurance and for 40 hour work week.  He's already working outside these past 2 days with snow overnight and forecasted all week.  Montana hasn't decided it's spring yet.
Michele - My friend and I have been working diligently on 1 of 4 books I am writing.  It's time consuming and takes a lot of mental energy.  Please pray for sleep - and mental focus.  I am still soliciting stories... something you've prayed for and how God answered.  If you would message me we can coordinate a time to chat and I can scribe while you share the story.
Please pray for provision - for the vision and for everyday living.  God is faithful! We are trying to decide whether to sell our 2nd car.  Ken has a company truck..and we don't use the car often....but it would be expensive to replace it if the need arises.
Our home group is so rich and rewarding....and so full of the Holy Spirit moving.
Our pastor of church asked me to plan and do all regarding a Seder coming this Friday. So that has kept me busy and will through Friday pm.
Saturday we head to Butte, Mt where we will see Bob Sorge speak.   He's from KC - and an amazing teacher.  We used to have him at our home church in Kc often.   There's a group of us going.  It will be a good time.  Please PRAY for NO snow or inclement weather as forecasted.  We are staying on top of a hill in a Airbnb - which we have before.  Literally a straight steep road down.  It will not be pleasant if there is bad weather.  Butte is also higher elevation which tends to have more snow.
Thank you for your love and support of us and all that God is doing.  We are thankful for those of you who pray for us.
Hugs, love and prayers.
A Vision Given for Revival!
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
Everyone I know, including us has gone to see Jesus Revolution, the movie.  Have you?  If not, you might want to go see it.   Many have been talking about the Asbury revival and how it's spreading across the nation. God is stirring excitement amongst believers.  That revival is here - that revival is coming to a city near you.   I just loved that Asbury refused to have "big" names and "popular" worship leaders lead.  They just wanted JESUS to be known.  Such authentic repentance and authentic revival.  Whoohoo!
Before the Asbury revivals became public knowledge, I have had a vision repeating for 4 Thursday nights in a row in our home group.  The vision was fire on our roof line above the living room where we meet.  The fire of course was supernatural.  I sensed that the Lord was going to do something with our group.  We have been postured for revival for some time.  Our group allows the Holy Spirit to lead us each week.  No agenda, no scheduled anything unless the Lord puts it on someone's heart and is confirmed.  It's a sweet night of authentic and deep  prayer, worship, discussing the Word and fellowship.
Two weeks ago, I had the same vision of the fire and then it went into another vision during worship.  In the vision, Jesus was sitting in an empty chair near me.  He opened up a blueprint, looked at it and then smiled big.  He jumped up from the chair and one by one He came to each of us and washed our feet and prayed a blessing over us. Each one of us bowed down in humility after He washed our feet.  As He was finishing up the last one, all 3 of our external doors opened up and 100's of angels came in.  They were swirling around us and throughout the house.    When I shared that vision with the home group, one person said they felt the angels wings on his head and the other said she heard the angels singing with us.    I sensed that the Lord was demonstrating His blueprint for revival.
Let's read this passage (long) but it will set the stage for what I want to share.
2 Chronicles 33:  Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned in
Jerusalem fifty-five years. He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, following the detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites.
3 He rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah had demolished; he also erected altars to the Baals and made Asherah poles. He bowed down to all the starry hosts and worshiped them. He built altars in the temple of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, “My Name will remain in Jerusalem forever.” In both courts of the temple of the Lord, he built altars to all the starry hosts. He sacrificed his children in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, arousing his anger.
He took the image he had made and put it in God’s temple, of which God had said to David and to his son Solomon, “In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my Name forever. I will not again make the feet of the Israelites leave the land I assigned to your ancestors, if only they will be careful to do everything I commanded them concerning all the laws, decrees and regulations given through Moses.” But Manasseh led Judah and the people of Jerusalem astray, so that they did more evil than the nations the Lord had destroyed before the Israelites. 10 The Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they paid no attention.
11 So the Lord brought against them the army commanders of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh prisoner, put a hook in his nose, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon. 12 In his distress he sought the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his ancestors. 13 And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God. 14 Afterward he rebuilt the outer wall of the City of David, west of the Gihon spring in the valley, as far as the entrance of the Fish Gate and encircling the hill of Ophel; he also made it much higher. He stationed military commanders in all the fortified cities in Judah.
15 He got rid of the foreign gods and removed the image from the temple of the Lord, as well as all the altars he had built on the temple hill and in Jerusalem; and he threw them out of the city. 16 Then he restored the altar of the Lord and sacrificed fellowship offerings and thank offerings on it, and told Judah to serve the Lord, the God of Israel. 17 The people, however, continued to sacrifice at the high places, but only to the Lord their God.
18 The other events of Manasseh’s reign, including his prayer to his God and the words the seers spoke to him in the name of the Lord, the God of Israel, are written in the annals of the kings of Israel.
19 His prayer and how God was moved by his entreaty, as well as all his sins and unfaithfulness, and the sites where he built high places and set up Asherah poles and idols before he humbled himself—all these are written in the records of the seers. 20 Manasseh rested with his ancestors and was buried in his palace. And Amon his son succeeded him as king.
This guy Manasseh was a bad dude!  He did so much evil in the sight of the Lord.  He reminds me of some of the leaders we have in our country and who have been doing much evil against God first and foremost but also the people of America (and other countries too).   We have been seeing evil practiced in plain sight. They no longer hide. They are bold and dangerous and down right disgusting!   We have strayed so far from the Truth in our country.  It's been a slow fade for decades.  We have little by little relinquished our freedoms, our belief in God and Truth and frankly the Church has been apathetic.  We have allowed so much in the name of "tolerance" or "grace".   We have strayed so far from God.  We are no better than any of the Churches in the Book of Revelation.  Ouch!  But True!
I've been in the books of Chronicles for several months now and the there is a pattern.  Kings did evil in the sight of the Lord and led people astray. Eventually, they were taken out.   Some of the kings did right in God's eyes and were blessed.  Manasseh gives us a blueprint.  I shared this passage with our home group last week and we talked in depth about it and what it did was CONVICT us.  It convicted us to pray then and continuously over our leaders. God desires that none should perish.  We prayed over Soros, Gates, Obama, Biden and more.  These people would fit the description of doing evil in the sight of the Lord.
We've been talking about the Asbury Revival and the Jesus Revolution movie.  I don't think it's a coincidence that they are happening at the same time.  I don't think it's a coincidence that I've been having the visions for the past months.  I don't think it's coincidence that God has had me in Chronicles and seeing the repeated patterns and themes.   When Manassah personally repented, when he turned from His wicked ways, revival came to that nation.
Years ago a dog trainer was teaching our dog how to like kids.  One comment he made was a quite profound statement - Leadership runs down the leash!!   What?   Everything is a top down mentality in life.   Leaders lead by example, whether good or bad.  If the owner of a business is a tyrant, the employees aren't happy and it's not a fun place to work.  If the pastor of a church is demonstrating humility and repentance, the congregants follow.  The same is true in marriages and relationships.  We as Christians need to lead by example.  We are all leaders.  We have a circle of influence.
Answer these questions?  Do you want to see Revival? Do you want to see our country turn back to the Biblical principles it was founded on?  Are you willing to do whatever it takes?
REVIVAL IS WHAT  Asbury, Jesus Revolution and Manasseh have in common.  Revival comes to those who hunger and thirst after righteousness.  Who desire and love what God loves!  He loves people!  He wants a pure spotless Bride. He wants all to come into the Kingdom.  That's revival!
1. Confess Sins & Repentance - Ask the Lord to show you what you need to repent for?
   Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.  See if there is any offensive way in me,  and lead me in the way everlasting.
A great article about repentance - https://jakekail.com/how-to-know-if-repentance-is-real-look-for-this-fruit/?fbclid=IwAR3znYGlQLjqifSwTbM5jXk55j3rwjhSTqIJDcEJmwojVMoNBRqMtsNA_oY
2.  Humility -  we need to be humble, have a broken & contrite spirit before the Lord!
   James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord
3. .  Prayer for Leaders - pray with a humble spirit.  Pray for their hearts to turn towards God. Pray for them to have a divine encounter with the Lord Jesus.
1 Timothy 2:1-2  First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
Revival begins with YOU.  Revival begins with ME.  It starts with us and then it spreads like wildfire!
There's a cost to REVIVAL - and it's opposite of APATHETIC!
Are we willing to invite the outcast, the ones we don't feel comfortable around, the drug addict, the pedophile, the LGBTQ, those practicing witchcraft and others into our homes and churches?   When we lived in Kansas City, we had all of the above visit or attend our home group and we are willing to do it again!
Are we willing to invest in them?  Did someone invest in you when you got saved?  Are you willing to mentor them.  Are you willing to love them exactly where they are?  God says they will know we are Christians by our LOVE!!
Come on - let's do this!!!!   Go Revival!  Go Church!
Prayer & Praise -
1.  Ken's work has been steady - not quite 40 hours every week..but seeming to be more stable.  Thankful!   He also is picking up a few Saturday jobs.  Pray for his strength and the ability to get true rest on his one day off.    (Except now we are preparing for taxes- pray we do not owe)
2.  Pray for complete healing and especially sleep still for me.  It's been pretty intense.
3.  I am working hard on book one!   Lots happening there and thankful for a good friend helping me out.   If you have a story you'd like to share, reach out to me please.  Here's what I'm looking for.  What is something you prayed for and how did God answer it or not?  It can be funny, serious or heart wrenching.  I can scribe while you share.   Pray for mental motivation as lacking sleep makes it difficult to concentrate and focus on the task.
4.  Please pray for provision -we are unfortunately having to put some of our expenses on credit card - not so comfortable with that... Pray for  more open doors for Ken or for me to have some Tasting Party's/new customers through Thrive Life.   I love doing it!
Please let me know how I can pray for you.  I so appreciate you reaching out and letting me know!
Hugs, love and prayers.
God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.
The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord.
We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating people into the world & health and wellness retreats and more.
The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but better help them be ready to serve in their church.
In our community building - we will eventually have a 24/7 prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.
Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more souls into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.
