Crossover on Passover

(it feels like 40 years we've waited)
When you cross the Jordan and live in the LAND which the LORD your God is giving you to INHERIT, and He gives you REST from all your enemies around you so that you live in security, Deuteronomy 12:10

Has the Lord ever had you move around the world or cross country before?  Have you gone to an unknown land knowing NO ONE but the ONE?    I can probably answer this next question - have you ever moved in the middle of a pandemic and wonder if the roads/states will close their borders before or as you go?

I will surely say, the Lord definitely keeps us on our toes and utterly dependent on Him.

A day last week, when we woke up, the Lord spoke to both Ken and I to book our moving truck!  He gave us a date of 4/9.  A few days later, the Lord spoke to me and said Crossover on Passover.  It wasn't until then, that I realized 4/9 is Passover.  (Passover celebrates The Exodus, the freedom from slavery of the Israelites from Ancient Egypt that followed the Ten Plagues).  Little did we know at that time how quickly different states would start requiring home lockdown.  How did the Israelites feel when they had to leave the familiar and go into an unknown territory?  Can you just imagine them coming up to the Red Sea, feeling trapped with their enemies barreling down on them? Can you feel the fear as they took a step into the waters?  But then the Lord graciously parted the seas and allowed them to cross over on dry land.  Once they were all safely on the other side, the sea closed up and their enemies were destroyed.  Exodus 14.

When the world is in the middle of panic, fear, turmoil, financial upheaval, God has promised He will make a way for us to get INTO our Promised Land. We are not sure if we will have places to pit stop, or where we will stay the 3 nights/4 days to get there.  We are down to 2 weeks before we leave.  We have our moving truck secured.  We have our new rental deposit and first two weeks rent paid.  God is faithful!  We are in process of having a "moving sale" over the next few days. Whatever is left after that we will donate to keep moving costs down.   I am thankful God's grace has been sustaining us on every front.  We are in complete peace and are slowly starting to find joy for what's ahead.  The hardest part is the "quarantine" because it's keeping us from seeing friends and family and saying the goodbyes we want too.   Our hope is that this quarantine will lift and we can stay for another week in the KC area to see you all.  But, if not, we will just pass on through.  That just means you'll have to come visit us!!!!

We are trusting God to show up in the remaining needs and details for our move, hotels along the way, gas, rent, and the biggest is our vehicle.  I have been so burdened (spirit led) to pray for God to bring us a newer/reliable suv.  Ken has an appointment at the mechanic later today to check on the oil leak (it seems to be leaking much more oil).  That is probably my only "fear" of the move - whether it's reliable enough to get us there - and without heat too.  Where we are going gets snow still this time of year.

We have been reading a really good 40 day prayer book - Draw The Circle by Mark Batterson.  It is full of faith-filled courageous people's stories of praying and trusting God for provision, destiny, direction, healing and more.  Our church started that book at the beginning of Lent.  We started it a bit early to be done prior to our move as we started a 40 day fast a week before Lent.  We so look forward to sitting down with this each day (may have to re-start it once done) and then praying for all our needs and the needs of so many others.  It is definitely infusing courage and hope into us!

One thing we know for sure - and our counting on!
Where God leads - He meets the need!
Where God guides - He provides!
When God gives vision - He gives provision!

I so appreciate all of you who reach out and ask for prayer and for those who are praying for me/us so consistently.  It means the world to me.

-Please continue to pray for my health.  A lady from Facebook reached out today, felt the Lord gave her a word of knowledge and it was spot on with what the Lord has been showing me for my healing.  I am thankful for those little kisses God sends through strangers.

- Please pray for both of us - stamina, energy and ability to get ALL the rest done!!  It's just been the two of us packing and purging everything!!

-Please continue to pray for provision for this move, for the sale to be successful and provision for when we land there.

-Please continue to pray for God to bring us a new suv.

-Please pray for open doors for destiny!!!  Isaiah 22:22

Vision
God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.
The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord.
We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating people into the world & health and wellness retreats and more.

The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but better help them be ready to serve in their church.
In our community building - we will eventually have a 24/7 prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more souls into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.
