Welp, that was quick!!

 Psalm 27:14 Wait for and confidently expect the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the LORD.  

This verse the Lord has been speaking to me on repeat for days.  And what's funny is the word He gave me at the 1st of the year, is Patience!!!  Oh, that's so hard to have when you need Him to show up!!   LOL! 

Last weekend we were invited to the lake with some friends.   If you haven't been to Flathead Lake here in MT, you have missed out on such incredible beauty.   It's so awesome it's just a
few hours away.     

Well, on the way there, we got a call from a  realtor saying they were showing the house on Saturday.   And this Saturday that just passed, the house was under contract and inspections were completed.  Wow!  That was fast.   There is very little communication with the landlord on details, but we know that our lease is not up until end of July.  So we are counting on having the next 2 months to find a suitable place to live and pack!    The good news is (hopefully) since the house is sold, we won't have to deal with any further showings.  We should be able to live peaceably until we exit. 

 

We have been looking for rentals and there is absolutely NOTHING in our budget range or that will accommodate what we need.  

We are trusting that God will open the door HE has for us - and we are believing that it will be our destiny doors!   That is how we are asking people to pray.  We don't know His plan, but He has been definitely speaking to us and giving us "signs" that we will be moving into the fullness of what He's called us to.   So, we contend for what we hear and trust Him for the outcome!

This is a meal I made for part of the competition.  We had to use any Kings Hawaiian product and take pictures.  This was homemade teriyaki elk burgers with grilled pineapple, or mango or caramelized onions and jalapeños with sliced avocado on a Kings Hawaiian roll.   There's a local barbecue joint here that branded the MC on the buns for me (the restaurant is called Moose Creek).  That was Ken's idea.  We also made a coconut milk, pineapple, cilantro & ginger coleslaw.  And a Jackfruit Lemonade using Thrive Life's jackfruit.  So delicious!

Oh - and this prophetic word was published today.  I had started this blog yesterday with the Scripture posted above... and then today say this and it resonated so deeply in My spirit because almost verbatim what the Lord has been speaking to me.    So encouraging. 

THIS IS NOT THE END IT IS THE BEGINNING OF THE FULFILLMENT OF YOUR DESTINY!

I know that this word is lengthy and normally don't go to the extent of writing a long word, but I encourage you to take the time to read it. I sensed that it will truly bless many.

​Many have been in the biggest transition of their lives. Things from the past have been resurfacing, the agony and pain of what you have walked through comes to remembrance. The things that were lost and stolen, and the years it has taken to get to this moment in your life, where you are finally at the cusp of stepping into the fullness of your destiny. It seems that many things have come to end, feeling of displacement, and the asking of what's next? What now Lord? 

The Lord is restoring your strength, birthing a greater boldness and confidence in you that can only be birthed through Him. There is deep work of the Holy Spirit happening that is making room for what He is about to bring forth. Not only is He bringing forth what He has promised but there is increase, provision, favor, and promotion upon you. I felt the Lord saying that He is about to show you His goodness, and that He did not forget what He promised. While many have waited for this appointed time to come, I felt the Lord saying that not only is His timing is here but it is coming with interest from the waiting, there has been a great increase added to the promises.

I was reminded of this verse in Psalms.
Psalms 27:13-14 'I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

You may have been hidden for a long time, and have felt that all you do is wait, linger, but the time has come to be revealed, to emerge, and coming forth carrying His power to go forth and do all that the Lord has called you to do. Timing is truly everything. 

What the Lord has many birthing right now is not a small feat, it is the greatest birthing and transition that you have yet to encounter. It is imperative that you allow the Lord to do what He needs to do right now, as you do is bringing you forth over this significant threshold -- where destiny is awaiting you on the other side.

I was also reminded of this verse in Isaiah.
Isaiah 66:9 " Shall I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?" says the Lord. "Or shall I who give delivery shut the womb?" say your God.

YOU WILL RISE AGAIN IN GREATER STRENGTH

Many have felt like they got the wind knocked out of them, through the many trials and warfare, but you are rising up from the ashes with greater strength and endurance than you have ever known that can only be found in Christ. You will walk into all that the Lord has for you. 

Things are falling into place and coming together, I saw these next few months being pivotal of such alignment, strategic moves and the Lord positioning many for greater breakthrough and to step through the doors He has prepared for many. He is bringing the right help that you need for these new assignments, He is ordering your steps and movements to be in the right place at the right time. 

For some of you, as this is not a word I would normally share. But He is bringing end-time marriages together, He is brining your helpmate. Many of you can only go so far into your calling and the Lord knows you need your helpmate to go further. I felt this strongly from the Lord they are on the way, the timing for these divine unions are in this moment and timeline of this new era that we are in. I felt this sudden urgency from the Lord to get your house in order, finishing things up, prepare, and get ready to cross paths with your helpmate. 

The title of this word says that this is not the end, and it isn't although it appears that way. However, this is where you are suppose to be in this moment of time, many don't make it into fulfilling the fullness of their destiny, because the painfulness of the process to get their is honestly hard. You are at the cusp of the beginning, and there is colossal change get ready to manifest.

I want to encourage you with this, I sensed this strongly about the next few months. The Lord is bringing many things that He has spoken forth. It will be one thing after another coming to pass, and it will be just as He said and promised it would be! Stay yielded, stand, and stay in faith that the your Kairos appointed time is here.

Joyful Shouting Will Come!

Nehemiah 12:43 And on that day they offered great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. The sound of rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard far away.

Have you ever found yourself waiting on God to fulfill a promise He has spoken to you?  When will that day come?  

Today, my reading was in Nehemiah 12.  I don't know whether it was lack of sleep or lack of focus from lack of sleep, but I was not "getting" anything from the passage.   So I went to journaling where I poured out my cries and heart to the Lord once again.   Blah blah blah - really!  I wonder if He gets tired of hearing from me.   I said Lord, I am tired.  I am weary on so many levels.  You have promised this and promised that and YET I still have not seen the answers, the promises fulfilled. 

I'm the persistent widow day in day out crying out.  I'm the lady clinging to the hem of Jesus's garment.  I'm the one leper that always comes back and gives God thanks and praise for something He has done.  I'm the centurion with great faith trusting He will bring forth healing.  I'm Abraham surrendering my Isaac to the Lord repeatedly.  I'm the one my 4 friends are lowering on the mat through the roof.  I'm Job wondering what chapter I'm in of that book and hoping its the last one. I'm Elijah being fed by a raven.   I'm Lazarus at times wondering if Jesus will come before I die. I'm Joseph pit, prison and waiting.  I'm Thomas saying I won't believe until I see.   I'm Moses wandering in the wilderness for now 38 years... trying hard to not murmur and complain.   I feel like some of the minor prophets having to "experience" the word that God has given them to share with His people.   

All of these and others had to experience long waits.  They had to wait forever it seemed for God to come through, for God to rescue them, for God to heal them, for God to take them into their promised land, for the promises to be made manifest.   I am no different - and most likely you aren't either.  

So after I journaled much of what I just wrote... the Lord said look up some commentary on Nehemiah 12.  I stumbled on this blog below.  As I read it, it seemed as if the Lord wanted me to find this blog.  He was reassuring me, that He is working behind the scenes.  He is working things for my good.  And He will for you too.

“When the Lord brought back the captive ones of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joyful shouting; then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us; We are glad. Restore our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.”

Psalm 126

It seemed like a dream.  The people of captivity had not only served their God-ordered time through being in exile, God had begun the process of restoration.  The temple was built.  The walls were complete.  The city of Jerusalem was safe.  Nehemiah brought all the Levites together, had massive amounts of choirs who through the dedication of the wall was a time of celebration.  I’m sure they never believed it would happen.

But it did.  And it came in God’s timing.

There are things we each hold to or wonder, will it ever happen?  There are countless tears we’ve cried over situations, people and our own life of regret.  We’re like those who dream.  Dream of something that is so far beyond our reach and seems to be impossible.

This lifetime brings a lot of sowing in tears.  Heartache is a constant.  Sadness and loneliness can be suffocating.  Disappointment often bites at our heels.  We stare into the future and think things will never change, people will never change, our life will never change.  What’s interesting to consider:

Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

As the Psalm states, as the one who weeps is still sowing.  They’re scattering seed as they go even in deep sadness.  It’s really something to think about.  They don’t stop doing what they’ve been called to do.  In season and out of season, they continue their job.

God has the greatest ability to restore things that once were burnt up, broken, desolate.  Forest fires in time see new growth.  Broken bones heal.  And as much as it sounds cliche, God is able to bring good from any tragedy we are experiencing.

If we don’t have hope, then what do we have?  Some may be at a point of quitting.  Others may be in the mindset of ‘what’s the use?’  Darkness in some situation may be thick.  Beyond what the situation
dictates cling to, hold to, remind yourself that in time God’s great harvest of joy is coming.

What really caught my eye was the part which says, the one who weeps is still sowing. They are scattering seed.  They don't stop doing what they've been called to do.  That is true with me.  Though I am contending for my healing, for the financial provision for the vision, I am still doing all that God has asked.   I am thankful for the people along the way who encourage me with kind words amazed at all I do despite the suffering....  It's those little things that strengthen me.    

My point with all this is this - just as it said - keep doing what you know that God has asked of you (whether that's a knowing in your heart, or simply what the Word of God asks us to do).   Stay in faith.  I don't always agree with the statement "His timing is perfect" but when it comes, hindsight will make sense of this.  It always does.   He will do what He says!!    

God has spoken to me often - that when the dream is realized, when the promises come forth, I'll say repeatedly pinch me to see if this is real.  And He says "they" will know that I AM the Lord your God! I cannot wait for that day!  

Prayer & Praises - 

Ken - please continue to pray for Ken - strength and endurance and for 40 hour work week.  He's already working outside these past 2 days with snow overnight and forecasted all week.  Montana hasn't decided it's spring yet.   

Michele - My friend and I have been working diligently on 1 of 4 books I am writing.  It's time consuming and takes a lot of mental energy.  Please pray for sleep - and mental focus.  I am still soliciting stories... something you've prayed for and how God answered.  If you would message me we can coordinate a time to chat and I can scribe while you share the story. 

Please pray for provision - for the vision and for everyday living.  God is faithful! We are trying to decide whether to sell our 2nd car.  Ken has a company truck..and we don't use the car often....but it would be expensive to replace it if the need arises.  

Our home group is so rich and rewarding....and so full of the Holy Spirit moving.  

Our pastor of church asked me to plan and do all regarding a Seder coming this Friday. So that has kept me busy and will through Friday pm.  

Saturday we head to Butte, Mt where we will see Bob Sorge speak.   He's from KC - and an amazing teacher.  We used to have him at our home church in Kc often.   There's a group of us going.  It will be a good time.  Please PRAY for NO snow or inclement weather as forecasted.  We are staying on top of a hill in a Airbnb - which we have before.  Literally a straight steep road down.  It will not be pleasant if there is bad weather.  Butte is also higher elevation which tends to have more snow.

Job's Friends....

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 

Do you know Job's friends?  Do you have someone in your life that always seems to know the answer to your problem or circumstance?  Is there someone you see in Christian circles that always seems to have the "fix" for everyone's problems?  

This past weekend at Sunday School.... a gentlemen shared about his health.  In context, he was saying that as he has asked God to take the disease away, God's reply has been My Grace is Sufficient for you.  He still contends for healing but yet knows God is using this disease to reach others.   His transparency however landed a comment directed at him that maybe he didn't have enough faith to be healed.  If he would only open the Word of God and read it aloud - you know faith comes by hearing, hearing by the Word.    When that came out of the person's mouth, my stomach felt like I was kicked hard.  I looked around the room and there were several of us who showed a similar response.   Ouch!!  That's what I'd call a friend of Job's.  

Since I have dealt with chronic health issues for 38+ years.... I have had many of Job's friends visit me as well.    Here's just a few of the comments I get....

1.  You must not have enough faith.

2.  You must have unforgiveness towards someone.

3.  You must not be eating right, exercising enough, etc....

4.  You must not be taking "my" supplements!  I literally had someone tell me that God told them because I was not buying their $500 a month protocol of their supplements, God would not heal me.  

5.  I need to repent, renounce everything including the kitchen sink repeatedly.  

6.  I must have so much sin in my life that God would keep me sick and debilitated. 

7.  If only you did this, or did that, you'd be healed.  

You get the point now, don't you?  

All of these points (well not #4)  have some validity and can hinder healing... but have you ever just stopped and asked them "What is God speaking to you"  What is God saying to you regarding your circumstance?  We are so quick to "put on" to others our ideas, opinions, solutions and experiences.  We don't take the time to just have compassion and kindness.   This applies to any circumstance whether it be health, or financial or anything someone is going through.   And if you don't have a one on one relationship with this person, why do you feel you can speak into that person's life in the first place.  You would have no idea on the day to day walk they have.  We are often guilty of jumping to conclusions instead of just asking a few questions and finding out more.   

Do you know how many times I've gone (and others)  into a downward spiral because we have friends like Job?  We never know how our words may affect someone in the moment?  

Years ago,  I had someone speak over me that Satan has an assignment over my life.  He is going to do everything in his power to take me out.   I was a fairly new Christian and since they were a leader, I took that into my spirit.   I thought wow I'm going to die.  When? I assumed my  health issues were my "lot" in the Christian life.     When I shared that with my home group and thankful I had such amazing sound teachers, they said oh no..... that was not good!  They prayed and broke off that word curse.      If you have something to share with someone, please learn how to word it - turn it for good... don't speak curses over them.  Seriously!!    Here's how I may have worded that.  "You have a great call on your life and God wants to use you powerfully.   Satan doesn't like that and he may try to throw everything at you to change that, but God says you are an overcomer and God is with you and nothing can thwart God's plans for your life.     Do you see the difference?  Which one would you prefer? Blessing or Curse?  

We have got to take the time to think about what we want to say and speak in a way that will be uplifting and encouraging.   Our words have power. The Word of God says life and death are in the tongue!  What is your tongue speaking over others.  

Years ago when I started this blog, I felt the Lord wanted me to be transparent.  He wanted my struggles and victories to be heard.  So many times we hear of a person having a trial and then we hear the outcome - the overcoming part, but we don't hear about the details in between.  That is what God has asked of me in this blog and in my walk.  Do you know how hard that is - the transparency part is a cake walk next to the comments and feedback I get.  Assumptions are made, answers are thrown out flippantly and sadly, all out attacks are given.   Yeah for me.  Very few actually say wow.... you are going through it.  Or how can I come alongside you and walk this out with you?  How can I support you?   This quote seems pretty appropriate right now.

“True intercession involves bringing the person, or the circumstance that seems to be crashing in on you, before God, until you are changed by His attitude toward that person or circumstance. People describe intercession by saying, “It is putting yourself in someone else’s place.” That is not true! Intercession is putting yourself in God’s place; it is having His mind and His perspective.” ― Oswald Chambers 

Would God shame you or condemn you?   No!!!  So why do we do that to others.  Bob Sorge said one time that God doesn't look at the day to day walk, He looks at the trajectory of our life. Are we growing?  Are we progressing upwards over time?  That's what He's looking for.  He's not beating us down because we have a bad moment or a bad day or week?  He's not even looking at if we have a bad year or two.  LIfe is hard.  Life is challenging.   He knows that.  And He is more concerned with us growing in Him.  

How can we be the body of Christ God intended?  How can we shift our attitude to one that is encouraging and uplifting?  How can we stop projecting onto others our ideas, opinions and attitudes.       Here's what I know to be true:  Hurt people, hurt people.  Healed people, heal people.   Seek the Lord, ask Him to create a clean heart in us.  Ask Him to renew a right spirit in us.  Help us to be people who truly demonstrate God's love to a lost, broken and hurting world...especially to your fellow brother and sisters in Christ.   There's a song most of us know.... here are the words:    This is what Christianity should be about - LOVE!!

If you've had a friend or two like Job, I'm so sorry.  I repent on their behalf and pray that you have been able to overcome and hurt, disappointment or bitterness towards them.  IF you've been a friend like Job's, please ask the Lord for forgiveness and to help you show His love in a different way.   

We all go through challenges, trials & major setbacks.   Think about what you need when you're in one of these situations?  What brings you hope, encouragement and the courage to get through?   Do the same to others that you would want.   How can you come alongside someone?

1.  Thank you for your prayers for Ken's work.  His boss created a couple days of work at his own personal home.  And now he has at least a few more days on another job.  So Thankful for that!   We still need additional income beyond him full time - but God's in control! 

2.  The pain levels are extra high for some reason.  I just continue to trust that God will give me a grace to continue to walk this out until such time He chooses to heal.

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more souls into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.

I don't want to beat you over the head with my Thrive Life business... but I do want to share a huge testimony.   Last month started off as normal.  And then my sales got to $8600.  I prayed that God would help me hit $10,000 as that's the next level and would earn me some additional points towards Cancun (and of course some additional pay).   A day or two after I prayed that, I noticed my sales hit $18,000.   I was like wow!! God did exceedingly abundantly more than the $1400 I asked for.   Well, the next level was at $25,000 and I thought - is it possible God, 2 weeks out and needing that much?  Well, anything is possible with God! Matthew 19:26.   God sent total strangers to my website with orders.  And on the last day of the month, I hit the goal.  Nothing like nail biting leaving it to the last hours.   Well, actually it was not until today before the "official" numbers computed in my virtual office.  God is always the God of the 11th hour isn't he.   I am so thankful for Him and for all of you!

Switching Gears!!!  Just a little testimony of God's healing touch! 

Several months ago, I met this lady who was diagnosed with cancer last year and sent home on hospice.  Her husband quit his job to be with her.   We have been building a relationship and she is most delightful.   A year ago as I said, she was told she had days to live.  It's been a year !  God has been sustaining her and healing her little by little.  Us and some other folks are visiting her and praying for her and each time, she gets stronger.  Not long ago, she broke her arm.  She didn't get any treatment or surgery for it due to hospice care.  I felt the Lord told me to share with her some of this Comfrey salve I had.  I did.  A friend of ours in Clinton Mo makes it. https://www.papatownscomfreyproducts.com/shop/comfrey-salve-4-oz   -   Her arm and hand was swollen and extremely painful.  She used the product and within a day all the swelling went down and now using it for a few weeks, she can tell her bones are healing and she is able to do more with her arm.  Wow!!!   I love when God gives a word of wisdom and it has impact! (of course it does, if it's from Him).   

I love to pray for people.  I love to hear God's voice to bring encouragement, healing or a touch to those in need.   

There is a lady in our home fellowship that had the Covid vaccine because she worked in a hospital. She was so concerned about the side effects.  I felt the Lord told me to pray for her that the injection she got would be a placebo effect. That there would be no side effects or any issues from it.   A month or so later she happened to look up the "lot number" and found that this lot number had NO side effects, no reported cases of any issues whatsoever.   She was so amazed and gave credit to the prayers and to the Lord of course!

It's Only Sprinkling.... but some Breakthrough!

Isn't it wonderful when God answers prayer?  

The last 2 months have been one financial hit after another.   Tax bill that was unexpected!  Car repairs, cell phone died & had to be replaced, rising costs of food, gas and necessities.  I think many of us are feeling the pinch.   The Lord has had me pretty transparent and it's quite humbling.  I never look forward to sharing the difficulties we experience but God must have a plan through it and His grace is evident.   It's still sprinkling but God is bringing us what we need, little by little, for which we are thankful.  God is a good provider! 

Ken got a side painting job that is keeping him busy every Saturday for 5 weekends (beyond his Monday through Friday job).  This job fortunately will cover 1/2 of the tax bill.  One of you sent us a gift and that helped a bit too. THANK YOU!  God gave me a new Facebook Marketing account and that will help pay the balance of what we owe to the IRS.  We had to put everything on a credit card which has been quite uncomfortable.  We haven't had debt (besides a mortgage) since the 1980's.     

Ken's family is having a family reunion in Kansas City in June.  Sssh it's a surprise.   Since his parents are up there in age, Ken felt we needed to go back.  It may be the last time we see them and/or other family.  We have some friends who have blessed us with the use of their home (they will be out of the country) for the entire duration.  What a gift. Not that we won't see them, but that we have a nice place to stay.  We are hoping to be able to save money for us to travel.  Oh my gosh, please tell gas prices to go down.  We only get 14 mpg in our vehicle.  We checked into rental cars and using other's points - but the cost are outrageous!  Ken does not get paid time off. I'm praying that his boss will reward his 4 employees with paid vacation time.  We know God is faithful and He will open doors of opportunity for us to go.    We are looking forward to seeing many of you!  I think we have like 90 on our list - between KC & Eldo- we didn't get to say good-bye when we moved due to covid.  Can you believe it's been 2 full years on the 9th since we've moved away??

We continue to meet people who are quite interested in the vision God has given us for a retreat/refuge property, self sustaining, off the grid and a 5 fold equipping center.  We have a home group that is growing each week and we are bursting at the seams in our little apartment.  We need to see the expansion and move into the property God has for us.  I cannot share details yet, but God is definitely ramping up conversations and information about this!  Yeah!   

Please continue to also pray for my healing.  I am sleeping better but it's not where I need it to be.  I am still dealing with intense pain - some days better than ever.   Sometimes I just hit the wall!
