BREAKDOWNS INTO BREAKTHROUGHS

 Welp!    

Yesterday the Lord told me, "You need only be still".   I looked that up in the Bible and found it in Exodus 14:14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still."

Yesterday we looked at a home that would meet our needs, was in a great location and neighborhood and when I walked in I felt the Lord in it.   I even found out some friends of ours used to rent it and told us it was an amazing home.   

There were multiple applicants on this home.  The management company told us today that we did NOT get it because someone else scored higher.   They said our "score" was exemplary.   The only score they could have scored higher would be income.   Our credit scores are 800 - our background and references came back immaculate!   And yet...  

I prayed yesterday that Lord if this was the place you had for us and not the destiny property, then open the door that no man can shut.   And the door was shut.   I asked Him if this wasn't it, would you please open destiny doors.   Here we are 1 ONE DAY before moving day and we have literally NO PLACE to go.     

The last blog I said we had a place to sleep but Ken and I are in unity strongly on this - we do not have any peace about it and absolutely do NOT feel led to go.   There are so many issues with that place.  And very distressing to think it's the only open crack.   The biggest issue is that we have to put $2400 down and NO proration if we find something else in a day or two.  We do not have extra cash lying around!   We would have to rent 3 storage units on top of that - and have to put our freezers and refrigerator a mile down the road.  There is no shower.  There is no wifi (which I use to find work, work on my books etc), we'd have to park 2 cars in another location so I would have no way to get to my car during the day.   We would have no living room space as boxes would have to be stacked there that can't go to storage. We'd have no kitchen table so we'd have to eat on our laps!   Do you see the dilemma!   Oh maybe I'm just whining.  But would this work for you?  Be honest! 

I literally have had just an hour or two sleep a night for the past few weeks.  Pain levels have been at an all time high - of course STRESS does that to you!    Who's stressed??@$%^&

We are going to look at 1 other place today - it still is not ideal for us and probably would require a storage unit on top of the rent which is more than we pay now.   It's clean however. So that's a plus. I definitely need  God to open a door for income!  There is also not much parking as a duplex so not sure what we will do there.  I don't know if we can fit our two cars & Ken's work truck?  We'd sell one but both are pretty much  need both in case one breaks down again - what we really need is 1 newer reliable vehicle and sell these!    And we will have to find a way to buy a washer and dryer.  

I am still believing though through many tears and an occasional screams that God is either going to open destiny doors for us today (before we start the actual move into where tomorrow?) or that He opens the place we looked at yesterday - that He would not allow MAN to shut that door!  This is the only 1 we have peace about!  

We need God's PEACE & PROVISION!!

How Do You Get the Wall Before You to Fall?

Joshua v 20 When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city. 21 They devoted the city to the Lord  

Is there a mountain in your life you need moved? Is there a wall that needs to come down? A stronghold broken? Healing? Financial breakthrough?

This past Sunday, our pastor talked about Jericho Walls and the key to them coming down. It really struck me in several ways. I'll come back to that.

Ever since Ken and I got saved, the Lord has had us on a tremendous journey and increasing our faith through it. We sold our home in Kansas City in 2014 and moved to El Dorado Springs, MO because of His still small whisper and a water jug that a guest at our house brought with them. That was our confirmation. We did have several other "clues" that pointed us there. Some thought us foolish and it was definitely a stretching of faith. The time in Missouri gave us wisdom and knowledge about living off the grid, being in the country and learning about being self-sustaining. The night before moving day, our movers called and asked where they were taking our stuff, but we didn't know until after that call and let them know in the morning. There was grace for that. But not something I'd recommend.

There have been other times with moving that have been just as much a faith journey- see previous blog. And here we are again with the landlord selling the home and having to be out by 8/1. Just over 5 years ago, the Lord moved us from Missouri to Montana to fulfill the destiny He has for us. We are ready. He says we are ready. It's been a long long long journey of growing in Him. We've learned to be content with very little and we have learned greater humility and we have grown in faith more than I cared for (my fault - I prayed for world overcoming faith when I got saved).

We are less than 60 days out from needing to move. We have no idea where we are going (yet). God does....but unfortunately for us, He has not revealed it.

I have to say, we are weary. We are not wanting a last minute move and yet the days are ticking by. We want to KNOW where we are going and soon. We have faith and confidence that GOD will show up and HE will provide a place. We know His timing is perfect. But if you've ever had to wait until the last minute to move, you'll know how stressful that can be.  

We are looking at rentals HOWEVER we are contending for the Lord to open the door to DESTINY. That means a sizable acreage property with a home on it and the funds to support the vision and all that it requires. It's a faith walk for sure.  

We are praying for God to open ONLY the door HE has for us and shut all other doors. And the good news HE is shutting or keeping shut all doors for rental properties that possibly could work. Most are way out of our budget or too small or a huge amount of stairs. We do NOT feel we are to downsize everything. We've tried to sell furniture and other large items, but they are not selling. But anything little like a lamp, rug or a portable air conditioner etc is selling fast. So it seems like doors are staying closed for the bigger ticket items.

We have NO backup plan. We have no place we can just stay or store items and stay. We have no family we can stay with. We have GOD and God alone! That's enough!

Everything the Lord has been speaking and confirming through random prophetic words or in our quiet time is STAND and CONTEND for destiny! Contend for my healing! Contend for the breakthrough. And yet everything in the NATURAL is completely opposite!

So back to Jericho Walls! You see our walls. What is the key for us to have the breakthrough into DESTINY?

Here's what my pastor said - "The answer is UNITY!" Unity in prayers, unity in thoughts, words, actions and believing with us! It's true. What prayer would God answer, mine or yours when we are not praying in unity or agreement? The answer is unity for YOU as well.

Here's what I've seen. When you ask someone to pray for you - say for healing of a broken bone. And then they pray but tell you they prayed that the bone would just be comforted, not healed, how would you feel? Is that someone you want praying for you? If you asked someone to pray for your wayward child who is far from the Lord, would you be ok if they prayed for your child to just be happy doing whatever they are doing?? Seems ludicrous. Well, sadly that's often what I see. Maybe not these examples, but just the same, not praying in agreement or unity. It is hard enough to walk in faith. Believe me, we get enough flack from the enemy, why add fellow believers to that difficulty. Instead, let's come alongside someone in their time of need - believing and see what God can and will do in unity.

When someone asks us to pray for them, we come in agreement with what they are asking for (of course biblically based) and we also ask them what the Lord is speaking to them. If that seems sound, then why would we not want to pray in agreement?

Unity is key! Years ago, the Lord spoke those very words to Ken and I. When we are in unity, there is peace. When we pray in unity, answers come. When we are in disunity, God can't bless that. Do you hear what I'm saying? God wants to bless His children, but His children are not in UNITY!!

So.. what Jericho Wall do you have that needs to come down? What can we pray for you for in unity? Please reach out!

WE are asking for prayer in unity of what we feel the Lord is saying.

Open only the DOOR HE has for us and keep all others shut (and that He would reveal that soon). We contend for what we feel He's speaking and we trust Him for the outcome. If that door is another rental, we'll walk through it. But what IF it's the destiny property? What if God wants to do that NOW? Why would we want to settle for an Ishmael?  

 Matthew 9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Prayer & Fasting

So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with Him in prayer and petition, in fasting.  Daniel 9:3 

Most of you know what prayer and fasting is, so I won't go into much detail here..... but just a few main points.  

Prayer and fasting were demonstrated in the Scriptures during times of mourning, repentance and when there was a deep need.  (Daniel 9:3, Esther 4:16, 2 Samuel 12:16)  

Prayer and fasting brought breakthrough or deliverance.  (Mark 6;7, Mark 9:29) 

Prayer and fasting is also a weapon of warfare - to bring resolve.  (Ephesians 6:18)

Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;

say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” 

Isaiah 35:3 

As you know we've been in a long long wilderness, pit and prison season!  We have been obedient to do all God has asked of us.  Since the early days of our salvation, the Lord had us give away ALL we had in the way of assets.  We cashed in stocks, 401k's, to give everything away.   Then He asked us to step out of full time - excellent paying jobs, to heed the call to start a home church.  After 5 years of that, God moved us to a small town in the middle of nowhere.  The only job God provided was for Ken to work part time at a discount retail store making minimum wage.  Obviously not enough to even cover our rent....but God has been faithful in making up the difference.  He is our provider!! 

God told us last year to give away most of all our furnishings.  We had a semi-truck and a 14' UHaul move us here and besides the stuff we use daily which also will be given away when we go, we have very little we will keep.  We have given out of our lack and have blessed 100's of people with meals, hospitality and prayer ministry.  It's been extremely difficult to say the least.  Not the blessing of others, but the plowing of the ground, the wondering how we would pay this bill or that, praying through some serious health symptoms trusting God would keep His promises of sustaining my health and eventually bring full healing.  It's hard and lonely on this journey.  The good news is we have learned so much, grown in our faith and ability to do spiritual battle.  Our trust and confidence in God is so much stronger!!!  

God gave us a God size vision - one that we cannot do without Him and His provision.  We did not seek this vision, but God has placed a desire in our hearts to partner with Him - to build a retreat property with numerous cabins;  to have a community building and to have prayer and healing rooms.   We want to invite pastors, lay leaders and missionaries to come and have a place to be refreshed, encouraged and ministered to and with a completely upside down model.  This means that we will ask for a "suggested donation" and if the need is there, we will offer it free of charge.   We want to be a refuge,  a place of safety, compassion and care.    We are also called to come alongside the Church to equip the saints for the work of ministry.  To teach, activate and send out to reach the lost, the hurting and the unsaved.  God has been training us our entire lives for this calling.  

We are wanting to step into the fullness of it now!  We believe God has told us it's due season.  We have done all we know to do.  We have done as much due diligence to be as prepared as possible.  Now it's time for God to do His miraculous part!  We have sought the Lord daily asking is there is anything hindering us besides the obvious provision.  We are not hearing a thing or sensing anything.  We have had others who are praying say the same.  They too don't understand why this hasn't happened yet.  Some suggest warfare.  There have so many God confirmations surrounding this vision and even the release to go, but yet........God's work needs funded!  It's time that the WEALTH TRANSFER begins so that us and others can step into what God has for them.  It amazes me how many people are in our same shoes........waiting on provision to move into destiny.  My opinion is also that of warfare.  The enemy is doing all he can to thwart or delay so we give up.  But God!!! 

Today a friend sent me this.  

Does this bear witness to your spirit?
In my prayer time with the Lord this morning as I asked HIM how to pray (I felt it was over the body of Christ) I heard the word "turbulence" so in Jesus name I declare, order, peace, harmony, and stability in Christ...
I also heard, "we are in the final hours!" ...with the Lord one day is like 1000 years and 1000 years like one day.
I also heard, "things are about to bust open I need you to pray like never before!"

Prayerfully discern this…as I’m doing the same. Could quite possibly our calendars be off???
It has been said (by scholars) that Pentecost is actually on June 21 and that’s exactly 9 months (time to birth?!!) from September 21 sign in the heavens.

As I process with you I find it interesting that I heard~~things are about to "bust open"
Like a woman in labor when her water breaks~~ oh it's busts open alright!

Then another friend sent me this verse unaware of the other....  She has never ever sent me anything in the past...
When I read this verse you came to mind. I hope it means something to you. 

"Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?" says the Lord. "Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?" says your God. Isaiah 66:9

See a pattern???

The other day I was beginning to form words in prayer to God and before I could even say them, the Lord spoke to me and said.  "I am coming like flint".   "I am determined to help you".  This verse came to mind.....

Because the Sovereign Lord helps me,

    I will not be disgraced.

Therefore have I set my face like flint,

    and I know I will not be put to shame. Isaiah 50:7

Yes Indeed, It Won't Be Long Now!

I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,

your young men will see visions. Joel 2:28

Do you dream?  Do you remember them?  Do you understand their meanings?  Most often dreams are symbolic in nature.  They carry a weightier meaning than what you saw.  What about a vision?  Visions can be both with your eyes open or closed.  These typically are more literal.  What you see is what God is actually wanting you to hear.  

Dream

1. an experience of seeing someone or something in a dream or trance or as a supernatural apparition.

    a.  a vivid mental image, especially a fanciful one of the future.

Do you believe God can speak to you through a vision or a dream?  The Bible, shows that God spoke to people often through a vision or in dreams.  

the message of one who hears the words of God, who sees a vision from the Almighty, who bows down with eyes wide open: Numbers 24:4

Last blog I wrote about a vision/dream that I had and one that Ken had.  What I didn't share with you was that we are both experiencing such an influx of dreams and visions over the past few weeks.  The few hours I get a night are filled with very detailed dreams.  Ken is often having several dreams in one night.  We seek the Lord for insight into each dream/vision and then also submit to a few people we know and trust that have history of accuracy in dream interpretation.  These dreams have been coming fast & furious!  

When Ken & I started dating in 1984 there was a pinball machine called Eight Ball Deluxe. We used to play it together not in competition but together playing the same game. I used to play the left flipper and Ken played the right. It was a true sense of teamwork. 

Interesting that as the years together (now 33) our marriage and how God speaks to us is quite similar. I will often hear something and at the same time he will get a picture or vice versa. Over the past several years more & more prophetic words have been spoken over us about being a dynamic duo, powerhouse together, mighty ministry couple etc. We recently had a word that together we would walk in the office of a prophet. (Thats up to God and we are not striving for or need a title-but we do love being used by God to minister healing & encouraging words) It's kind of fun to get these but even moreso knowing that is how the Lord speaks to us and through us. 

Revelation & confirmations are happening so fast we can barely keep up. We are DEFINITELY in a season of Amos 9:13-15. This is a verse the Lord first gave to me last year to encourage me of things to come.....and has since repeated it to me multiple times (and many other prophetic voices) this year. 

So what's this have to do with Eight Ball Deluxe and a pinball machine. On the game you have to be paying attention...when you hit the ball with the flipper you aim to be precise, the ball bounces back & forth side to side. It's a game of strategy and positioning the ball just right. Kind of like being in the right place at the right time. So, I believe God is releasing strategies through Dreams & Visions so that we are where he wants us to be figuratively and literally for this next move of God. 

One more thing..... the Eight Ball Deluxe Machine has a saying it speaks out while you play "Stop talking & start chalking) meaning quit talking and take action. Or in baseball, they say let's play ball, in racing start your engines. 

I don't want God to stop talking however I do want to see ALL He has promised manifest soon!

These verses also speak to me the PROMISES He has spoken will come to pass.  It also speaks of our waiting season.  We wait and wait and wait and wait and wait.......... and then SUDDENLY God does the MIRACLE you've been contending sooooooo long for!  We've been in a wilderness season almost since our inception of becoming a believer in 2002.  He has been preparing us, grooming us, purging the old to prepare for the new!  The Lord willing, we feel we are ready to step into "destiny." 

The shift has happened, things are beginning to pick up momentum!!

 “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.

“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel:

"They'll rebuild their ruined cities.

They'll plant vineyards and drink good wine.

They'll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables.

And I'll plan then, plant them on their own land.

They'll never again be uprooted from the land I've given them." God, your God says so.  Amos 9:13-15 The Message 

(P.S.)  If you are waiting on God for something... I believe this verse is a rhema word for you!  Grab hold of it = contend for it!  It's yours! 

Rabbit trail, but bear with me...

There is a friend we met a couple of years ago.  He moved from KC to Eldo and lived here about a year.  We connected with him and instantly bonded both as a friend but also as someone we thought God may be connecting to us and our ministry.  We often prayed with each other, for each other & for Eldo and surrounding communities.  Our prayer times were powerful and filled with fresh revelation, power and breakthrough.  We saw answers to our prayers quite often.  Well, he moved back to KC and our relationship was still there, but obviously limited.  In January, he sent me a text with  something that really began a ball rolling in a direction we never imagined.  But, the funny thing is, that was the LAST communication we had for 6 months.  It was like he vanished off the radar.  In those 6 months, God has been speaking to us very specific things, so many things, that I had to create a folder in my laptop trying to keep everything somewhat organized.  (I could write a book with all of it). 

In June, I sensed the Lord prompting me to reach out to him again, so I did.  He responded....as if there was no separation at all.  Without revealing too much, we believe God kept us apart so He could speak to each of us separately.  What we didn't know during that time, was that God was speaking identical things to each of us.  When we reconnected, wow, things that we heard for the past 6 months, he was hearing exactly the same thing.  Every day now we connect.  It's almost creepy (in a good way), but I can message him something and he will be looking at the very same thing.  Or we've all been seeing numbers/having visions & dreams that have very specific biblical meanings that are applicable to what God is doing with the 3 of us.  What we see or hear from the Lord he is and vice versa!  It's amazing!  

Now back to Amos 9 - all these things - dreams, visions, numbers, times, prophetic words, posts, quiet time thoughts and impressions are coming so fast.  Literally, the 3 of us have often been overwhelmed in a good way.  But, as the verse says, so fast our HEADS WILL SWIM!  I can't keep up with copying and pasting and typing out what we're hearing.  I know I am missing key pieces.  Our friend is even trying to create/keep up a graphic for us.  

So that leads me to the title of this post.  "Yes indeed, it won't be long now."  We believe this verse is being played out right before our eyes.   We still don't now HOW or WHEN, but we are trusting God, contending, decreeing, believing and standing in FAITH!  

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him Hebrews 11:5-6

Praise/Prayer 
-God is good and faithful to meet our every need.  This past weekend a friend of ours lives in a semi-nearby town which has an Aldi's (our closest one is an hour away).  We didn't want to go that far from home because Canyon was having a bad day and we weren't sure if we were going to have to put him down or not.  I called my friend and asked if he would mind stopping into Aldi and picking something up and bring to us the next day when he was coming for a visit.  He was happy to help us out.  He surprised us and blessed us by not only going to the store for us, but paying for it and not letting me reimburse him.  And he blessed us with 2.5 doz organic, non-gmo eggs & 3 cucumbers from his garden!  What a generous and kind man!!!   
-God is good and faithful - Canyon bounced back from a horrible few days.  We don't want him to suffer and yet we just don't have peace about putting him down quite yet.  It's very possible it could be any day.  Our prayer is that God would take him peacefully in his sleep, with no trauma to him or us.  We've been blessed that he's lived as long as he has 15.9 years (and his lifespan is only 10-12 years).  
- God is good and faithful - Ken somehow survives the limited sleep he gets on Monday and Tuesday nights mostly.  (Matter of fact he's trying to sleep now and since I can't, I'm in the other room writing this).  God's grace is sufficient in our weakness.  Please continue to pray for the grace to endure & provision to come forth.
-God is good and faithful - I'm thankful that even know my sleep is still not consistent or often, that somehow God's grace gets me through.  Pain levels are still high but I cope.  The enemy still often lies to me about the consequence of sleep deprivation and likes to attempt to put fear on me, but I am gaining strength and confidence in God's Word and believing what God said - HE WILL SUSTAIN me.  I trust that as we are stepping into DESTINY (soon, we hope) that my health will be fully restored.  I am seeing improvements. 
- God is good and faithful - our weekly meeting is still going strong.  Mostly our ministry in this season is to the Lord, in intercession and ministry to those He puts before us.

Vision

God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.  

The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord. 

We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating people into the world & health and wellness retreats and more.  

The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but better help them be ready to serve in their church. 

In our community building - we will eventually have a 24/7 prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.  

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more souls into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.
