Fight the Good Fight!

Are you in a battle?  Are you weary and ready to raise the white flag of surrender?

I remember when we first got saved.  Our pastor was teaching on Ephesians 6 - putting on the full armor of God.  He was so detailed and created such an intense and graphic picture of battles, blood, gore and war that I was overwhelmed.  I said to Ken that day, who has to go through all that stuff?   Little did we know - that is what every believer, every follower of Christ will go through - especially if you choose to stay on a very narrow and difficult path of faith.

Yesterday's devotional spoke once again to the circumstances we are in.  We are contending and believing and definitely fighting hard to overcome and step into all that God has for us.

Fight the Good Fight of Faith!

Fight the good fight of faith.…— 1 Timothy 6:12
Many believers have the misconception that walking by faith means they should be able to effortlessly glide all the way to God’s destination for their lives with no hiccups or struggles along the way. But the Bible teaches quite the opposite in First Timothy 6:12. In that verse, the apostle Paul wrote, “Fight the good faith of faith….” According to this verse, the path of faith often requires a fight to see it through to completion.

The word “fight” is the Greek word agonidzo, which refers to a struggle, a fight, great exertion, or effort. It is where we get the word agony — a word often used in the New Testament to convey the ideas of anguish, pain, distress, and conflict. The word agonidzo itself comes from the word agon, which is the word that depicted the athletic conflicts and competitions that were so famous in the ancient world. It frequently pictured wrestlers in a wrestling match, with each wrestler struggling with all his might to overcome his opponent in an effort to hurl him to the ground in a fight to the finish.

The very fact that Paul would use this word, a word that was very well known in the world of his time, alerts us emphatically that when we step out to do something by faith, it often pushes us into a previously unknown fight. It throws us into some type of agony — anguish, conflict, pain, distress, or a struggle. It isn’t that God wants us to struggle. Instead, this is a fight that results from:

The flesh that resists the will of God.
The mind that struggles to understand what God has told us to do.
Circumstances that seem to stand in the way.
People who oppose us.
The devil himself who throws his weight against each step of faith we take.

The point you must see is that Paul recognized when we step out in faith, we don’t just effortlessly glide to the destination God is directing us toward. We must fight the good fight of faith to reach the victorious position that allows us to one day hear those cherished words, “Well done!” from our Commander-in-Chief. But rather than shrink from the match that is before us, the apostle Paul urges us to give this fight our best effort! He tells us, “Fight the good fight of faith…” The word “good” is from the Greek word kalos, which denotes something exceptional, of the highest quality, outstanding, or superb. In the context of a fight, it pictures one who has given his best effort to the struggle in which he is engaged; hence, he is one who is doing a first-rate or first-class job at resisting his opponents.

Then Paul repeated the word “fight” a second time in this verse. He wrote, “Fight the good fight of faith.…” This second usage of the word “fight” is also from the Greek word agon — the same word he used when he referred to a “fight” at the first of the verse. It conveys the idea of one who is giving his complete concentration to the conflict and is totally focused on engaging the conflict at hand and achieving victory, regardless how long it takes or how much agonizing effort is required. It is the picture of total commitment to victory.

This is a far cry from simply gliding to God’s destination for your life with no hiccups or headaches along the way! As Paul told us in this verse, anything that is done by faith will require a fight of some sort in order to win. So if you are experiencing a struggle along the path to your personal victory — if you’ve been fighting off some very real mental or spiritual assaults along the way — don’t be taken off guard or by surprise. The Holy Spirit warned in advance through the apostle Paul that you must commit yourself to giving the pursuit of God’s will for your life your very best effort and to doing whatever is necessary to finish the goal set before you!

God is calling upon you to stand up and fight — giving your concentrated efforts to stand firm for what you believe. Fight in a manner that is noble, admirable, and worthy of the reward that awaits you. And remember — the greater reward usually requires a greater fight. Keep this in mind as you press forward to be first-class in your determination to overcome every obstacle and resistance along the way. Stay in the fight until you can shout, “The fight is finished and victory obtained!”

Fortunately, only the bottom three points are applicable at this time. (LOL).

-Circumstances that stand in our way - Provision!  We know God's word - He provides!  Where He leads, He'll meet the need.  Where He guides, He provides.  We are thankful for His amazing provision......  and we are believing that He will do the miraculous to get us to our next destination - D - E - S - T - I - N - Y!   He is faithful and He won't fail us!

-People who oppose us. - Now, that's a good one!  Years ago I read a book by Bruce Wilkinson, The Dream Giver.  He talked about "border bullies".   These are friends and family who oppose your dream and speak doubt and discouragement into your situation.  They don't do it intentionally (at least I hope not), but they definitely think we've gone bonkers and cannot possibly imagine God coming through for us - and that He spoke to us such a Big and Crazy dream.   We feel differently.  If it isn't big & hairy and audacious and something we can do in our own strength, frankly, I think it wouldn't be from the Lord.   He only works in exceedingly abundantly more than you can hope or imagine ways.   What we've come to realize is that our dream is just that - OUR DREAM!  It's the dream that God placed in us and we cannot expect others to grasp it.   What we hope for at best, is that there are a few of you (and we are thankful) that support us through prayer, conversation, encouragement and donations to help us walk this out in faith.    I would say we don't choose this path - but we do, because we choose to be obedient to the Lord.  The short rope God has us on - trusting Him for day to day needs as well as sustaining my health is quite humbling and difficult.   Having people consistently question us and tell us that we need to do this or that, can be a huge blow to our faith..... and is sure obvious opposition.  Thankfully God is turning these instances for good and growing our faith....Yea!!!   For the record, we consistently go to the Lord for wisdom and direction and seek a multitude of counselors.   We are not lone rangers.  We are always willing and open to listen to good, sound advice - and we prefer "spirit filled and spirit led wisdom".

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it". Matthew 7:13-14

"For many are called, but few are chosen."  Matthew 22:14

-The devil himself who throws his weight against each step of faith we take. - This is definitely what our former pastor was talking about in that early sermon.  It often feels like we take one step forward, see some positive momentum and then suddenly we feel two or more steps in the opposite direction.  The one thing I have realized is this is growing our faith.  Though it feels quite the opposite, I can see huge strides.  Praise God!

If you are contending and believing God for something, don't give up!  An old favorite quote I love (well it's a love/hate relationship) is:

Never, Never, Never Give Up!  Winston Churchill

PR   PRAISE REPORT & PRAYER REQUEST
K   Ken - For the last month or so Ken's hours were cut down to 2.5 days - maybe 18 hours a week.  Fortunately for at least this week and next, he has been scheduled more hours.  Please pray for continued provision.
M    Michele - I have been having extra pain- not sure if it's because my hips are out of whack - but pain in legs, low back, hips, feet, tingling too.   The good news is that I borrowed my sister's sleep tracker and I am actually getting some sleep - only 3-4 hours of sound deep sleep and the rest intermittent light sleep, but I'll take it!   I had just changed to a new sleep supplement that works on lowering cortisol for those with adrenal issues.  Pray the sleep continues and please pray for pain to go!
Ministry - our Thursday nights are going great.  We spent several months teaching on Transformational Prayer - an inner healing ministry.  Now we have a lady who God moved here from California - seriously - and she is teaching Sozo - another form of inner healing ministry.  We are helping to facilitate and get a healing center set up in the area - and form some healing teams.

We were blessed with a 2nd vehicle recently - that now allows me to leave the house, when I feel up to it, for the first time in 2 years without.  Whoohoo!

Thank YOU so much for your ongoing support, prayers, love and care for us and our ministry.  We are honored to be able to pray for those who reach out to us.  Please let me know if you have any prayer needs.   For those who have been reaching out, thank you!  I am praying for your requests.

If you have been blessed by this ministry or feel led to support what God is doing through us - financially, below are a few options.  Your generosity and your prayer support is greatly appreciated and needed as we continue to walk in faith and God's calling.

Vision
God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.
The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord.
We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating people into the world & health and wellness retreats and more.

The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but better help them be ready to serve in their church.
In our community building - we will eventually have a 24/7 prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more souls into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.

Leap of Faith - Kairos Moment

Is God preparing you to take a leap of faith?  Is He asking you to do something that may look foolish to the world, your friends or family?
2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ's triumphal procession and He uses us to spread the aroma and knowledge of Him everywhere.
This past week.....Ken and I both have a strong sense God is about to ask us to take a leap of faith.  We are not sure what yet....but through our quiet time, devotionals & dreams, we feel He is preparing us.  Here's just a little bit of what He has been showing us.
Two mornings ago as I was awaking still half asleep I had a vision of a beautiful black & blue sky. The stars were too numerous to count and lit up the sky. Then 3 brilliant rainbows appeared in the sky.

I asked the Lord what did this mean. He said that the Abraham covenant is still very much applicable as we have been grafted in. The 3 rainbows He said were speaking of 3 distinct promises He had spoken to me were being FULFILLED NOW and 3 NEW promises He would give me. When I turned on my phone a Facebook friend had sent me the picture of the verse here. The friends name is Abraham and the verse talks about the covenant God made with Abraham. CONFIRMATION!! There is so much more to this that I am still getting but sharing the highlights.
And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them. Exodus 2:24-25
Abrahams' Covenant - The LORD had said to Abram, "Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you. 2"I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." Genesis 12:1-3
Ken had a dream a couple nights ago.  He was holding a window frame and putting it up in a moving truck or van.  As he was putting it up, he said, this is the last one.  It's time to go.

I felt the Lord showed me that the window, is the window of opportunity, the kairos moment that God is offering us.  When we step into that, the doors to the dream He has given us will swing wide open.
Yesterday the Lord put such a stirring in my spirit. We began listening to and even posting a few songs that the Lord had placed in our hearts for the VICTORY He is about to bring forth.
EthneCrisisNet
I believe the VICTORY is for you too. The Ekklesia has been contending & travailing for a very long time.  There are promises that God has spoken to each of us and I believe we are entering into a KAIROS season for those to be fulfilled.  However, there may be one condition - and that is do whatever He asks you to do!
Today I was reading Rick Renner Sparkling Gems II devotional and it spoke to our hearts.......

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
— 1 Corinthians 3:6
I had worked laboriously for an “open door” to Channel One in the nation of Ukraine — the premier TV channel that broadcast into every home in the country. However, regardless of how hard I tried, it seemed that access to this massive station eluded me. But one day, I received a phone call from a man who said he had an “inside” contact at Channel One and that if I would meet him at a certain location in Kiev, he would accompany me to the station and introduce me to the top leadership of that channel. So at the appointed time, I met him — it was almost like a clandestine operation — and he did exactly as he promised. He walked me through the open door that I had been seeking for years.
I found myself standing in an executive TV office with the two men who had the final say-so about which programs would or would not be broadcast on Channel One. After a few minutes of talking, they said, “We’ve reviewed your programs, and we’re ready to accept them as part of our daily broadcast schedule.”
I almost lost my breath. Did they really say what I just heard? Were these men actually offering me the possibility of broadcasting our programs to the entire nation every day of the week? As far as I knew, this opportunity had never been given to anyone else. But now the door had flung wide open and was standing right in front of me as open and passable as it could be! This was a God-ordained moment. I knew that God was beckoning me to trust Him and to walk through this door.
When they told me the cost per broadcast, I didn’t have that kind of money or anything even close to it. But the door was open, and God was urging me to put my name on the “dotted line” of the contract. So I asked for a few minutes to be alone with my associate who was with me. Once we were alone, we bowed our heads, clasped hands, and prayed for the courage to accept this step of faith. I told my associate, “I don’t have the money to pay for this, but I know God has opened this door, and I am supposed to sign this contract. I don’t know where the money will come from, but I must sign this contract and trust that God will speak to someone somewhere to help pay for this huge opportunity.”
When we finished praying, I had deep peace that despite the fact that I didn’t have the money to take this step, God wanted me to sign the contract. So when the men reentered the room and asked what we had decided, I boldly told them, “Of course, we are going to broadcast! So give me that contract, and I’ll sign it.”
After reviewing the contract, I took a pen in hand, gulped a deep breath, and signed that piece of paper. It was a huge leap of faith for me, but I had the awesome inward witness that we were about to experience the supernatural provision of God in a measure we had never seen before. God was going to show Himself strong to us and provide every cent that was needed to broadcast on this massive TV channel. As a result, every person in every home in that nation where there was a television would be able to hear rock-solid Bible teaching every day of the week!
But that’s just half the story. At the exact time I was signing that contract, a ministry partner — a widow who had faithfully given smaller offerings for many years — received surprise information that she had received a large inheritance. She had always told the Lord, “If You’ll trust me with money, I’ll use it to finance the preaching of the Gospel.” God heard her, knew she was serious, and did exactly what she prayed. He supernaturally put a large sum of money into her hands. When she received that inheritance, she said, “Lord, I’m going to help Rick Renner preach the Gospel to the former Soviet Union!”
When we later looked at the calendar and compared the times on both sides of the world — we discovered that at the exact moment I was signing that contract, this woman was receiving the news about her inheritance! I signed the contract, and literally simultaneously, God put the money into the hands of a widow who had made Him a promise.
Before the first payment was due for that massive TV outreach, we had all the finances we needed to pay the bill. God had entrusted that widow with the money necessary to cover the cost of those first broadcasts — and she kept her promise to steward her finances for the preaching of the Gospel.
Actually, this woman supported our TV outreach for many years. As a result, our Bible teaching programs went into every home in that nation every day. Over time, we received millions of letters from people who watched the programs, who gave their lives to Christ, and who began to regularly correspond with our ministry for help to further develop their lives in Christ.
As I think back on this experience, I see how every person played such a vital role for this miracle to be brought to pass. I signed the contract — but I didn’t have the money to pay for it. God gave finances to a faithful widow — and she supplied the money to pay. Each time I ponder this experience, I’m always reminded of what the apostle Paul wrote in First Corinthians 3:6: “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”
Paul knew his role was that of a “planter,” which is the Greek word phuteuo and means to plant. Paul’s statement was a clear reference to his founding of the Corinthian church. He was anointed to forge into new territory and challenge the powers of darkness in order to plant. Paul was endowed with the anointing to push open doors and find opportunities — and to plant seeds for the Gospel that would grow into churches.
Apollos, on the other hand, was anointed differently for ministry. He was specially called to come behind Paul and to “water” and “nourish” what Paul had planted. The word “watered” is the Greek word potidzo, which means to give drink, to water, or even to imbibe. It portrays one who nourishes what has been planted, thus providing the sustenance it needs to grow.
Of course, we know that God ultimately gave the increase, bringing forth what Paul planted and Apollos watered — and causing growth to come in the Corinthian church.
As I look at First Corinthians 3:6, I see these three elements in the Channel One miracle: First, I was the planter who was anointed by God to sign the contract. That was an essential first step. Second, our blessed partner, a widow, was called and anointed to “water” the seed I’d planted (the signing of the contract) with her finances. She was assigned a very important portion of the process, and she willingly did her part.
Third — and most important — was God, the Partner who was ultimately responsible for all of it. Paul said, “…But God gave the increase.”
The word “increase” in First Corinthians 3:6 is a form of the Greek word auxano, which simply means to increase or to grow. The form of this word used in this instance indicates the continuous blessing of God upon the work of Paul and Apollos, with God as their chief Partner in the process.
One theologian has said, in effect, “We can till the ground, plant the seeds, pull the weeds, and lavishly water what has been planted, but only God can provide the blessing, sunshine, and environment to make it all grow.”
It simply takes every one of us doing his or her different job — with God’s blessing on it — for doors to open and harvests to be reaped. Divine connections are essential for completing a divine assignment. And respect for every person for the role he or she plays — including God and His role — is so important. Most of us realize that even if we all did our respective parts to make supernatural things come to pass, nothing of value would ever grow without God didn’t provide His continuous blessing. So all the glory goes to God for what is produced in our lives.
In the case of the contract with Channel One, after that man helped me make contact with the leaders of that TV station, God used my associate and me to negotiate the deal, my hands to sign the contract, and a widow to sow finances into the project. And, most importantly, God’s hand of blessing was on it throughout the entire journey. Those elements all working together produced a harvest of salvations from our TV programming that will last for all of eternity.
If you’re trying to complete a God-given project alone, I pray that today’s Sparkling Gem has spoken to your heart about the need for divine connections with other people — and the absolutely essential need for God to be your chief Partner in making everything you do grow and become prosperous. If you do not have those connections right now, I pray that God will divinely connect you to others who will join to help you complete the assignment He has called you to fulfill — in Jesus’ name!

Today, this is what I felt the Lord say:  My Child, everything is in place. Soon you will go. I have lined up all the details needed to make this promise come into fulfillment. My provision has been released. It is en route. Your inheritance is on its way.
In the days ahead, I will ask you to take a giant leap. You know my voice. You can trust what I speak. When you take the leap, when you take that step, I will part the waters. You will not drown. I will not fail you. Keep your eyes on me.
Now is the time!! Sing your victory song.

God has been tweaking the vision - We are definitely still planning on building a retreat/refuge property offering private & group retreats & everything else (shown below)....but He is honing in on a very upside down model.  What does this mean you ask?  How many of you know pastors, leaders or missionaries who need a time of refreshing or a place to land coming off the mission field, but don't have the finances for this?  We feel led to offer such a place at NO CHARGE or at a suggested donation.  Possibly even offer travel, lodging & meal expenses for whatever period of time they may come.  After much research, this is such a need and one that has been expressed would be greatly received.  "A Niche Market" if you will.  We want to help restore, care & love on these people that they can go from "just surviving to thriving" Jimmy Dodd, Pastor Serve.  You can buy the book  here https://www.amazon.com/Survive-Thrive-Relationships-Pastor-PastorServe/dp/1434709191

God is good!  He is faithful!  We are so thankful for those of you who pray for us and believe in what God is doing in us.  Could we ask you to please pray for the "open door" for us to move into all He has for us.  We feel our wilderness season has ended and we are moving into the next.

Prayer request - please continue to pray for daily provision!  Our income is only about 30% of what we need.  Pray for Ken's endurance....it is getting harder to get up at 3am for his shifts, especially since sleep is an issue.  Pray for my health.  And Canyon, we are seeing more signs the end is getting closer.

Thank YOU to those who email me prayer requests. It is such an honor to intercede for the saints.
If you have been blessed by this ministry or feel led to support what God is doing through us - financially, below are a few options.  Your generosity and your prayer support is greatly appreciated and needed as we continue to walk in faith and God's calling.

Take It By Force!

"From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force. Matthew 11:12 (emphasis mine)

Has God given you a dream or a vision in your life and you are waiting on the fulfillment of it?  Is there any part you play in it coming to fruition?

Below are two amazing articles about what your part is in bringing to pass the prophetic word or the vision God has breathed into your life.  These two articles will help you and hopefully strengthen you for the ongoing battle.

"Warring With Your Prophetic Word"by Elaine Tavolacci, Staten Island, NY

Experiencing Spiritual Warfare
In the book of First Timothy, Paul was encouraging Timothy to wage a good warfare concerning the prophecies that were given to him. He wouldn't have told him that if he wasn't going to experience spiritual warfare. Every one of us has received a Word from God either through a personal prophetic word or the Bible. The Holy Spirit is showing me that many of you have become disheartened because that prophetic word has not yet come to pass.
For some of you it has been months, and for others it has been years that this promise has not manifested in the natural. There is a process between the time that we receive the word, until the word comes to pass. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 1:18 that we are to "wage a good warfare" with that prophecy, and to fight the good fight of faith.  Read the rest of this article here:  http://www.elijahlist.com/words/display_word.html?ID=16413 http://www.elijahlist.com/words/display_word.html?ID=16413

Why Some Would-Be Life-Changing Prophetic Words Don't Come to Pass

JENNIFER LECLAIRE
Prophetic words bring warfare, but that's not the only reason people receive legitimate would-be life-changing prophecies that don't come to pass. Although I believe strongly in waging war with prophetic words, you also have to be careful to understand what the Lord is actually saying to war accurately.
Beyond this, you need a certain maturity to walk out the word by faith. You need the spiritual strength to stand against the tribulation and persecution that will surely come against a potentially life-changing prophecy. And you need to keep your mind focused on God's plans despite the barrage of cares and worries the devil brings to your mind.
At the end of the day, it really does boil down to this: There is a war over the prophetic word over your life. Sometimes that war comes from the wicked one. Sometimes that war comes from our own carnal nature that wars against the Spirit (Gal. 5:17). Either way—and whether in Scripture or via prophecy judged accurate—we must fight the good fight of faith so we can walk in the fullness of God's promises. Read the rest of this here:

Honestly, I don't have much more fight in me.  I think Ken is there too.  We have been fighting the enemy and believing for a very long time & he is beating us down!  We are worn out.  We are discouraged.  We do trust in God and His timing but the wait is hard & excruciating.  Hope deferred makes the heart sick..... Proverbs 13:12

God moved us here to Eldo 2.5 years ago..... and shortly after we got here, we sensed with some pretty good confirmations that by the start of the 2nd year, we would see the vision begin to unfold and step into our destiny.... and instead, quite the opposite.  We were excited that God got our 501c3 approved within only a month.  That's unheard of!  But why so quickly when in the natural, nothing seems to be happening?  Funds are NOT rolling in to fund the vision.  We've been asked if we are going to do any fundraising?  Honestly, we don't believe that initially God wants us to?  We could be wrong, but our sense and our hearts have always trusted God to make a way.  He has shown us
through dreams and prophetic words over and over that HE will BRING the provision.  So, we must
continue to trust that HE will.   Our hope is that God will bring the first million to purchase the property and begin the legwork with engineers & contractors.  (Of course, we would be happy if God funded the entire vision upfront too, as that would make things easier & more efficient.  He does own the cattle ON EVERY HILL!!!   Nothing is too hard for Him!!

We have sought counsel and they too are in agreement that we are on the right path, that God is definitely directing us.  Even know things are very very difficult, God is with us and in this.  We have some critics as well, who are waiting for us to fail.  We might!  Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Romans 12:15

I'm sorry if this blog was kind of a debby downer.  It's just a real picture of what following Jesus can look like.  Obedience to God can be very difficult!

Prayer/Praise Points

1.  Please pray for us to either find suitable work that will cover our day to day expenses or that God would provide.    (we may have a buyer for Ken's truck.... not excited to sell, but if this is how God wants to provide another couple months, than we will).
2.  Please pray for my health - sleep is hit or miss again...better than it was but not consistent or a full night.  Lots of pain & fatigue.
3.  Please pray for Ken - he is exhausted after work - the entire job is lifting heavy boxes & stocking shelves.
4.  Please pray for God to surround us with folks who can infuse courage and speak life into us.

Praise: Last week we had another family over for a meal.  We got to pray for the mom who is deaf completely in one ear and only has 30% hearing in the other with a hearing aid.  While we were praying, she felt the heat coming from my hands and felt tingling electricity.   She was not healed as we were praying for, but she really sensed that maybe God was going to through this.  I sensed to pray that the healing would come slowly at a pace she could handle.  (We knew a guy who was deaf, got prayed for, got healed and then didn't like the noise and lost his hearing).  Would you please pray and believe with us for her complete healing!!!

Praise: We do sense God is slowly opening the doors for more opportunities to pray for folks.  This week we start a new book study in our Thursday home group - Positioned for Miracles.  Excited to see what God will do throughout the next 12 weeks of study.

Praise: We've also been invited to teach & minister at a local church in the next month.

Praise:  We continue to have many different people for meals in our home.  It's been a great way to get to know and meet new people.  Just this past week a lady in a Tuesday bible study group I am in, mentioned to me how amazing it was how many folks we have met here.  If we had to estimate, we've probably met 800+ in a 30 mile radius, maybe more.... and have fed at least 150 of them.  We love to cook and be hospitable.

Vision
God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.
The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer 30-50 private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, screened in porches and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord.
We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating, health and wellness retreats and more.

The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but more help them be ready to serve in their church.
In our community building - we will have a 24/7 (eventually)  prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.
