For You Do Not Know What Tomorrow May Bring.....

Proverbs 27:1 Do not boast about tomorrow,

    for you do not know what a day may bring. 


How many know when the enemy overplays his hand, he reveals his plans???   

I just want to say, I am not writing this blog to instill fear......to coerce you into buying my product, or to bring condemnation or judgement upon you.   It is my heartfelt passion and more so compassion for God's people to prepare! 

Just recently Biden, revealed to America that FOOD SHORTAGES were coming!!  Here's just one source https://www.foxnews.com/video/6319517278112      The enemy has overplayed his hand through Biden!   

In 2009, the Lord showed me the USA would see famine.  I've shared in the blog before that the Lord has given me visions of what's coming.   This is how I got started with Thrive Life.  He is the one who led me to the company and to be a VOICE.    I have seen some progress in people getting prepared.... but I still feel it falls on deaf ears.   In 2014, the Lord told me to start interceding for His people - to open deaf ears and blind eyes to see and know the Truth.   I have prayed faithfully for that.  I have prayed for heightened discernment for His people.   And yet, I still feel many are unknowingly deceived.....or worse yet, burying their heads in the sand.  "This is America, we won't have food shortages?"   "God is our provider"  Yes, He is... but He also gives us ample notice to prepare.  Are you listening to His still small voice?  Are you asking Him for guidance.  Even Homeland Security tells people to prepare for natural disasters.   

Ezekiel 3:17-19 - Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. 

Some people think a few canned goods or a pantry and refrigerator/freezer full of food is enough.  

What if power goes down?  How will you cook your food?  How will you store your food?  How long will it last in your refrigerator or freezer?   

In 2007, the Lord showed me a "great blackout".  What that looks like, I don't know for sure, but what I sense from my talks with the Lord, is that we will see great food shortages and even power outages for up to 90 days and then maybe upgrade somewhat....but life as we know it will never return.   

Amos 3:7 Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.

We are already seeing food shortage and 300% increases in egg prices?  Egg farms are being destroyed, cattle farms are being destroyed, food plants are being burned down..... do you think that will magically not affect our food?    Heck, I just about had a heart attack when I bought asparagus last week.  When I looked at my receipt trying to figure out how 3 little bags of food cost me $89, I found I paid $14 for that asparagus.  Geez!  If I hadn't already got home, I think I might have returned it.  

This past weekend we had some friends over for dinner.  He's a store manager of a grocery store.  He is saying that is very very difficult to get what he orders.  He is having to find other avenues and even that is difficult.   

Imagine for just a minute - what if - a natural disaster hits, something that would affect our food supply instantly.  How long do you think the grocery store shelves would stay in stock?  What kind of mad house, and crazy lunatics would you have to come across trying to get what you can?  Would you really want to put yourself in that situation?  Does that bring you peace?  

Imagine this -what if things hit the fan (and they are heading that way fast).... what if you could just remain calm, knowing that you have food.  Knowing that what you have is something that will carry you through - and will last for a long time.  Does that bring you peace?   

You can prepare now.   There are so many "freeze dried" food companies out there.  They have been popping up for the last decade or so.  Many know and see the writing on the wall and they are trying to capitalize on the profits before the inevitable happens.   I have tasted at least 20+ of these companies food.  You have no idea where they are sourcing it, what quality control measures are in place and by sampling it, you will see what I mean.   

In 2009, the Lord pointed me towards Thrive Life.  They are the number one freeze dried food source and largest company in the United States - and soon to be overseas.  Why?  Because they have very strict standards, have control of their farms and food supplies.  Their quality control is over the top!  They mean business!    The 2 owners and the President and CEO are all incredibly filled with wisdom and foresight.  They are taking measures to prepare for the worst of times and yet still be able to supply the USA and other countries with food!  Wow!!!!!    My prayer is that they succeed.  And it should be your prayer too.   

And don't just prepare food - prepare for no paper products (hint toilet paper), toiletries and more.  Bartering may be our way of getting things we need.   Or we live without.  I don't know about you, but I'm not fond of the idea of not having toilet paper or water or food.  


I hope and pray we won't actually see what I have heard from the Lord.  We don't know what tomorrow brings, but we do know who holds our future in His hands.   My suggestion is to seek the Lord.  Ask Him what does He want you to prepare for.  Some people may need a bunch to care for elderly friends and family or neighbors....and others may need just enough for them.    I would rather purchase food and supplies and not "have" to use it... then to be up a creek without a paddle and not have anything.

Praise & Prayer - 

1.  Huge huge praise report...... I have been praying for a new bed for 9+ years.  We have been sleeping on the same mattress for 33 years.  We have bought inexpensive foam toppers but the one we have now is  even old.   Tonight we get a 5 year old - NEW to us Stearns & Foster mattress & box springs.  It has a built in foam topper on top of the top of the line mattress.  It is comfortable and I haven't been able to stop thanking God for this blessing.  The lady originally offered to sell to us for $100 then lowered the price to $50.  Wow!!!!   and then to top that off, someone gave us $50 out of the blue and so that is how we will pay for it.   God is so good!  I am believing that will help one with sleep but two even help with the pain in my back & hips.   So whoooohooo God!!! 

2.  Thank you for your continued prayers for Ken and having work.  Thankfully his boss likes him and he seems to get the first work available.  There are 2 guys that are not working at all - and haven't since before Christmas.   Even know we need more income to pay our bills....we are thankful for the work Ken has.  

3.  Please pray for increase in Thrive Life business..... so I can make the additional income we need... I don't want to do the business just for the income...  I am done with "sales".  Sales wears me out!  I just want people prepared, truly!  

4.  Praise - we sooo love our new church home and have been received well there.  Our home group is continuing to grow deep with God and with each other and outwardly as well.  We are already needing bigger space.  LOL!  

5.  Please pray for warmer temps.  This winter has been unusually cold.  We get snow and then a deep freeze so our roads stay icy. Our bedroom only has a space heater which we are careful how much we use (cost to use is high)..... so our temps stay between 52-55 typically.  No problem for sleeping but really cold getting out of bed to use the bathroom or shower (i know tmi)!

Exceedingly Abundantly More!!

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us... Ephesians 3:20 


I don't want to beat you over the head with my Thrive Life business... but I do want to share a huge testimony.   Last month started off as normal.  And then my sales got to $8600.  I prayed that God would help me hit $10,000 as that's the next level and would earn me some additional points towards Cancun (and of course some additional pay).   A day or two after I prayed that, I noticed my sales hit $18,000.   I was like wow!! God did exceedingly abundantly more than the $1400 I asked for.   Well, the next level was at $25,000 and I thought - is it possible God, 2 weeks out and needing that much?  Well, anything is possible with God! Matthew 19:26.   God sent total strangers to my website with orders.  And on the last day of the month, I hit the goal.  Nothing like nail biting leaving it to the last hours.   Well, actually it was not until today before the "official" numbers computed in my virtual office.  God is always the God of the 11th hour isn't he.   I am so thankful for Him and for all of you!

Switching Gears!!!  Just a little testimony of God's healing touch! 

Several months ago, I met this lady who was diagnosed with cancer last year and sent home on hospice.  Her husband quit his job to be with her.   We have been building a relationship and she is most delightful.   A year ago as I said, she was told she had days to live.  It's been a year !  God has been sustaining her and healing her little by little.  Us and some other folks are visiting her and praying for her and each time, she gets stronger.  Not long ago, she broke her arm.  She didn't get any treatment or surgery for it due to hospice care.  I felt the Lord told me to share with her some of this Comfrey salve I had.  I did.  A friend of ours in Clinton Mo makes it. https://www.papatownscomfreyproducts.com/shop/comfrey-salve-4-oz   -   Her arm and hand was swollen and extremely painful.  She used the product and within a day all the swelling went down and now using it for a few weeks, she can tell her bones are healing and she is able to do more with her arm.  Wow!!!   I love when God gives a word of wisdom and it has impact! (of course it does, if it's from Him).   

I love to pray for people.  I love to hear God's voice to bring encouragement, healing or a touch to those in need.   

There is a lady in our home fellowship that had the Covid vaccine because she worked in a hospital. She was so concerned about the side effects.  I felt the Lord told me to pray for her that the injection she got would be a placebo effect. That there would be no side effects or any issues from it.   A month or so later she happened to look up the "lot number" and found that this lot number had NO side effects, no reported cases of any issues whatsoever.   She was so amazed and gave credit to the prayers and to the Lord of course!

We are in precarious times....and many are feeling stressed or fearful over the unknown future..  Let's be the body of Christ and lift each other up to the throne room!   


And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18

If crisis hit your town, would you be ready?  Drought is causing food prices to rise and food shortages everywhere. Tornadoes have been increasing in numbers and the intensity of the storms are worsening.  Hurricanes are becoming common news?  What if you lost your job or became sick and could not work?  Would you be ready?  Do you know how to prepare for such an event as these.

Our first line of defense is to pray against such catastrophic losses, but sometimes they still happen.  The best thing we can do is prepare for our immediate household and then seek the Lord for further direction.  At minimum you should prepare for 3 days food & water....but if you watch the news and see the devastation these events cause, you will find yourself wanting to store even up to 3 months.  Check out the information at the end of this post for a good start.

Many warnings coming in the spirit that there is come serious stuff evidently about to go down. I personally and honestly do not know "what," but have felt for some time that it is just plain wise to get into a state of "readiness." I personally do not have a sense of timing, but there are many sources saying that it is important to be ready and in place before September. Many saying that there are things in place to bring in martial law, in which case no one would not be able to travel between states. So very important to be where we are supposed to be. I realize that and am concerned every time I go out on the road. But I have to do what God has called me to do. And to trust Him to take care of me no matter where I am as I carry His messages to those He sends me to. And to be at home in WV if/when I'm supposed to be.
So many of you have also sent me emails about dreams and feelings that you've had about this. So that has been confirmation to me to know it isn't just me.

One thing I've had an increased trepidation about is that the New Madrid is possibly being overloaded with all the rain and may thus blow. Which would rock and be felt throughout our entire nation, because it would be about a 9.5 or higher. Extremely important to be nowhere near it. But with that magnitude, would be felt throughout the entire nation. In which case, would also cause other fault lines to rock, as well as possibly affect a few nuclear power plants, power grids, etc.

Another thing is, I know in my "knower" that the powers that be are going to do their level best to crash the US dollar, and it could be soon.

All of that to say, have felt that I am preparing the extra trailer behind mine "for such a time as this." I need to get the beds and things from Kentucky this weekend. Please pray for me that the rest of the provision to do that come in. Also important to stock up big time with food, water, and whatever other preparations one can make. I personally do not have bunches of $$$ to do any of this. I live on faith from meeting to meeting. But I have a vision for the importance of doing whatever each of us can possibly do.

People get ready, there's a train a comin'!

Listen, NO FEAR! God is greater than anything! But wisdom is necessary. Preparing will allow us to be ready and there be no need for fear. The Word tells us that even the ant is smart enough to be prepared.

Prepare for what? Hurricanes, tornados, financial crisis, quakes, biological stuff, atomic warfare, power grid failures, or "whatever" it is that arises. Even a job loss and the resulting needs.

Listen, it's just about being smart enough to be ready for "whatever" is ahead. With so many warnings even from Red Cross and Homeland Security and all of the agencies, we need to realize that being prepared for the unknown is just the right and smart thing to do.

Therefore, I am again sending out some of the info (below) that I have sent before. Just do what you can, as you can. Then, having done all, we stand.

Our LLC is official - Want InSight Chaplain Services.  God has brought us a business coach to help us and we are excited to see how that goes.  We still have many things that need to be done, logo design, website, etc.... waiting on God to provide the resources.

Emergency Preparedness Info
Emergency Preparedness info from MorningStar as well as information I, Michele, have compiled! 
We recommend that you create an Emergency Preparedness plan for your household, which will be unique to your family and include many of the things discussed below. At the end of this document are several links to important web sites where you can learn more in depth about what we have included and there are step-by-step plans and check lists to use.
By using the term Emergency Preparedness, we are talking about being prepared for various kinds of situations, to include: Tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, explosions, terrorist attacks, flooding, snow, sleet or freezing rain, power outages and pandemics. With the “Avian” or “Bird Flu” pandemic concern, we also have to take into consideration that the government may institute quarantines around the country to control the spread of the Bird Flu. 

The old rule of thumb was to have a three day supply of necessities for emergencies. However, in light of recent concerns, the new rule of thumb is to have at least 3 weeks of necessities on hand. Experts are estimating that quarantine for the Bird Flu may be as long as 8 weeks. Imagine 8 weeks without leaving your home and consider what you might need during that length of time.
Note: Each family is different due to size, illnesses, or special needs. The following is going to be a general list and you can add or delete as required. This is simply meant to get you thinking and planning.

We want to start with the number one necessity for every individual and family – water.

WATER
Other than air, water is the most important substance that your body requires for survival. The average person can only live 3 days without drinking water. If your power is taken off line, or the municipal water source is contaminated, you will not be able to turn on your faucet and use clean water. There may not be any water at all.  (Aldi Stores carries cases of water for $2.29-2.79)  Best price! 

Here are six different suggestions to help prepare for this:

1) Using the rule of thumb of 1 gallon of water per person per day (for drinking, washing, cooking), store enough bottled water (ZAO would be a good choice - smile) for three weeks. Keep in mind that you may need more in the middle of summer and if air conditioners are inoperable.
2) If you have enough forewarning about an emergency, clean out your bathtub with Clorox, make sure the stopper doesn’t leak and fill your tub with water. This water can be used for cooking, flushing toilets, bathing, or drinking water for your pets.
3) Purchase new 30 or 55 gallon “food grade” plastic barrels and fill them with tap water and a “water preserver” that will keep water fresh for 5 years (can find on-line at several places). Remember to purchase a hand pump to pump water out into smaller containers. (I have purchased these new barrels at a local Winston-Salem company called “Marco Container” for $30 and hand pumps on-line for about $15).
4) Buy a pump filter. There are several great types that hikers use that allow you to filter some nasty germs and make the water pure. Check your local outdoors shops or on-line camping sites (e.g., “REI.com,” “Campmor.com,” etc.) The purifier that that Don and I recommend (which is not the pump type) is the “MSR MIOX.” This is a very small (pen size) unit that requires a small cap full of water with a pinch of salt and then you push the button and it sends an electric charge through the mixture causing it to kill all of the bad germs in unclean water. The cost of this is around $95 and can be found at most outdoor shops or on-line.
5) You can boil water. This is ok for washing or food preparation, but it may not help the taste of the water. I boiled my water for two years while living oversees and it is time consuming and requires a lot of energy which may not be available.
6) Chlorine Bleach. Adding 16 drops (1/8 of a teaspoon) of unscented, color safe bleach per gallon of water can disinfect water, but may not kill all germs and bacteria like the MIOX does.
My suggestion is to use a variety of the above ideas to be ready for your family.

POWER and HEAT
If your power is taken off line, you may need to have a backup plan in order to cope with no lights at night, and with no power to cook with or store refrigerated food. Having no power means no hot water, no cooking (unless you have a gas cook top), no tv, washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, etc. 
People tend to panic fairly quickly when there is no power, which is one thing we are trying to avoid. 
Here are some suggestions to help with power and heat:

1) You may want to consider purchasing a generator, although this can be expensive. You can purchase a smaller generator to operate your refrigerator, stove and some lights for around $500. Or, you could purchase a generator that runs your entire home automatically in the event of loss of power. These larger generators may cost up to $6,000 to have installed (depending on the size of your home). If you have a generator, be sure to keep the exhaust from entering your home. Generators must be placed OUTSIDE with good ventilation. Also keep in mind that natural gas availability could be disrupted, so you may want to consider getting a generator that operates on propane and purchase/rent a large propane tank outside of your home.
2) If you do not purchase a generator, you may want to consider buying a propane camping stove for cooking and warming water. This is not expensive, but you will need to have several canisters of propane on hand (most of these stoves have to be used OUTSIDE, but some can be used indoors as well – do not use indoors, unless product specifically says you can).
3) You may also want to consider cooking with a Dutch oven and charcoal. There are several books on recipes using this oven.
4) If you have an outdoor grill, you can cook using this, although keep in mind you have to be OUTSIDE to use this.
5) You may want to consider having a wood burning stove or fireplace insert installed in your home. This can provide an alternate source of heat if power is out and also a cooking surface for your home. Keep in mind to have a lot of wood available.

LIGHT
If your power is taken off line, you may need to have a backup plan in order to cope with no lights at night. 

1) A generator would provide you with lights.
2) Have enough flashlights for your family. One per person is suggested. Also have back up batteries. Make sure you get good heavy-duty quality lights.
a. You may want a battery operated spot-light also.
b. For under $20 you can purchase “wind-up” flashlights that do not require batteries or flashlights that recharge by shaking or winding.
c. L.E.D. flashlights are good options as their bulbs last a long time.
Note: Do not buy cheap rechargeable flashlights from dollar stores.
3) Candles.
4) Kerosene, oil, or propane lamps.

SANITATION
This is one area that a lot of people tend to forget. If you have no electric power, your bathrooms will probably not work for long, particularly if coupled with loss of clean water. 
If you don’t want to be forced outside with a shovel, you may want to consider purchasing a portable commode. Walmart or Sears carries these and they work well. It has a double tank – one for clean water to flush and another for the waste. You can use chemicals to help with odor. You will also need to have some special, inexpensive toilet paper that dissolves. The top of the line commodes are about $99 and can be found for much less.

COMMUNICATION
During many types of emergencies, internet, home and cell phones may not be operational. We are working on a communication plan for our fellowship where we can communicate with one another during these type of emergencies. However, you may want to consider these as well:

1) Purchasing walkie-talkies that you can buy from many different places. Some require FCC licenses, while others do not. I would try to find the kind that has the longest range without purchasing a license.
2) CB Radios, Trunk Radios or Short Wave radios are also a good option for two-way communication.
3) Emergency Radio: Along with having two-way communication, it will probably be vital to be able to stay informed with current weather, safety concerns or government warnings through the local authorities. Purchasing a radio is a good idea. You can purchase a good “wind-up” or “solar” powered radio that carries a variety of NOAA, FM and AM stations for around $50. Some models even have a cigarette adapter that will run other electronic equipment.
4) Family Emergency Plan: From “Ready.gov.”

FOOD SUPPLIES
To plan for 3 weeks of food for your family (plus two others), you will want to purchase food that does not require refrigeration and must be storable for the longest time possible.
There are numerous ways in which you can plan for food storage, to include MRE’s (Military rations which are very good and don’t require water), dry-food (that requires water or oil, or both) and canned food (which may not have as long of a shelf life). There are many on-line sites that sell dried food and packages for families that are very cost effective. “Mountain House” is a good brand of dried-food and there are many others such as “Pleasant Hill Grain” which ship in bulk (even up to a 1 year supply).
Here are some examples of the type of food you may want to have stored:
Powdered milk Dried Fruit
Potatoes
Dry Crackers
Peanut Butter
Soups
Jelly 
Vitamins
Salt & Pepper (spices) Instant Coffee and Tea
White Rice Bouillon cubes
Bottled drinks Caned hams (no refrigeration)
Spam (helped get our forefathers through the depression and WWII)

(IF you get beans & rice - remember extra water)  

FIRST AID KIT  - BE SURE YOU HAVE PLENTY OF YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS!!
Home First Aid Kits are fairly simple, however, you will need to customize them to your families needs. Keep in mind that you may have special medicine that is required (e.g., if allergic to aspirin, etc.).

Suggestions for First Aid Kit:
First Aid Book (a good book that give a lot of information)
Assorted Band Aids with different sizes
Triple Antibiotics ointment
Alcohol (for cleaning, sterilizing)
Cotton balls or Q-tips
Hydrogen Peroxide
Gauge Pads – assorted sizes
Medical tape
Bactine – will not burn
Merthiolate, iodine, etc.
Tums or Rolaids
Personal Doctors prescriptions
Eye Drops
Benadryl 
Cough medicine
Soap
Latex gloves
Option: Dental first aid kit
Scissors
Extra Blankets or Emergency blankets
Hand sanitizer
Tweezers
Thermometer
Magnifying glass
Hand Cream (lotion)
Aspirin or Tylenol or Ibuprofen

GAMES
If you are home without power, the kids will get board quickly. If you go by the Boy or Girl Scouts, they have some great books that are free with great ideas. These books include games that you can make with house-hold items. 
Another way to help the time pass is with some cards, battery operated radios and televisions, and cd players with stories for children. Magazines are also great to cut up with scissors, or you can make puppets, have a puppet show, etc.

MISC
Depending on the emergency, I would also suggest the following items be included in your emergency kit: 

Water proof matches or lighter
N-95 rated respirators (adult and child sizes in case of bird flu)
Tent and sleeping bags (if flooded out or have to leave home)
Emergency kits for each of your automobiles with basic necessities
Extra batteries in various sizes
Pens, pencil and paper
Hygiene items for men and women
Toilet paper (several rolls)
Dish soap & dish towels
Basic tools, knife
Cash (Just in case ATM’s or Banks are unavailable)
Moist towelettes
Local Map
Can opener
Garbage bags

SECURITY
Keep in mind that during disasters or pandemics, things are not normal and good people do not react normally. The bad people get even worse and the Law Enforcement people are either not available or very thin on coverage (as we saw with Katrina). Normally these emergency personnel are dealing with the same problems that you are with their families. It may be up to you (and the Lord) for your security either for a short or a long period of time. There are answers and ways that you can help protect your family.
First, it does help to have an alarm system in your home. A monitored system will bring help in most cases. If there is no power, the alarm system has battery backup, and if there is no phone service, your system may be equipped with a cell connection. If no cell connection, at least the Siren will alert others. 
You can control your doors where no one can obtain entry. Don will share this information with our fellowship in the coming months. Keep in mind that 85% of burglaries are through the doors. You can also pin your windows open and still get air but the crook will have more difficulty gaining entry. There are also several inexpensive ways to alert you if someone tries to enter. If entry is gained there are several options other than deadly force.
A dark home has a way of inviting the wrong people. One way to keep them outside is to pin your windows. Using tomato sticks, not dowels, that are round but the square ones can help. Cut the stick approximately one eighth of an inch longer than the window top part and wedge it into the side. This is an inexpensive way to keep your windows from being forced open. There is also a door jam that you can buy from your hardware store for $20 and it prevents your door from being opened until you wish to exit.
