Welp, that was quick!!

 Psalm 27:14 Wait for and confidently expect the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the LORD.  

This verse the Lord has been speaking to me on repeat for days.  And what's funny is the word He gave me at the 1st of the year, is Patience!!!  Oh, that's so hard to have when you need Him to show up!!   LOL! 

Last weekend we were invited to the lake with some friends.   If you haven't been to Flathead Lake here in MT, you have missed out on such incredible beauty.   It's so awesome it's just a
few hours away.     

Well, on the way there, we got a call from a  realtor saying they were showing the house on Saturday.   And this Saturday that just passed, the house was under contract and inspections were completed.  Wow!  That was fast.   There is very little communication with the landlord on details, but we know that our lease is not up until end of July.  So we are counting on having the next 2 months to find a suitable place to live and pack!    The good news is (hopefully) since the house is sold, we won't have to deal with any further showings.  We should be able to live peaceably until we exit. 

 

We have been looking for rentals and there is absolutely NOTHING in our budget range or that will accommodate what we need.  

We are trusting that God will open the door HE has for us - and we are believing that it will be our destiny doors!   That is how we are asking people to pray.  We don't know His plan, but He has been definitely speaking to us and giving us "signs" that we will be moving into the fullness of what He's called us to.   So, we contend for what we hear and trust Him for the outcome!

This is a meal I made for part of the competition.  We had to use any Kings Hawaiian product and take pictures.  This was homemade teriyaki elk burgers with grilled pineapple, or mango or caramelized onions and jalapeños with sliced avocado on a Kings Hawaiian roll.   There's a local barbecue joint here that branded the MC on the buns for me (the restaurant is called Moose Creek).  That was Ken's idea.  We also made a coconut milk, pineapple, cilantro & ginger coleslaw.  And a Jackfruit Lemonade using Thrive Life's jackfruit.  So delicious!

Oh - and this prophetic word was published today.  I had started this blog yesterday with the Scripture posted above... and then today say this and it resonated so deeply in My spirit because almost verbatim what the Lord has been speaking to me.    So encouraging. 

THIS IS NOT THE END IT IS THE BEGINNING OF THE FULFILLMENT OF YOUR DESTINY!

I know that this word is lengthy and normally don't go to the extent of writing a long word, but I encourage you to take the time to read it. I sensed that it will truly bless many.

​Many have been in the biggest transition of their lives. Things from the past have been resurfacing, the agony and pain of what you have walked through comes to remembrance. The things that were lost and stolen, and the years it has taken to get to this moment in your life, where you are finally at the cusp of stepping into the fullness of your destiny. It seems that many things have come to end, feeling of displacement, and the asking of what's next? What now Lord? 

The Lord is restoring your strength, birthing a greater boldness and confidence in you that can only be birthed through Him. There is deep work of the Holy Spirit happening that is making room for what He is about to bring forth. Not only is He bringing forth what He has promised but there is increase, provision, favor, and promotion upon you. I felt the Lord saying that He is about to show you His goodness, and that He did not forget what He promised. While many have waited for this appointed time to come, I felt the Lord saying that not only is His timing is here but it is coming with interest from the waiting, there has been a great increase added to the promises.

I was reminded of this verse in Psalms.
Psalms 27:13-14 'I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

You may have been hidden for a long time, and have felt that all you do is wait, linger, but the time has come to be revealed, to emerge, and coming forth carrying His power to go forth and do all that the Lord has called you to do. Timing is truly everything. 

What the Lord has many birthing right now is not a small feat, it is the greatest birthing and transition that you have yet to encounter. It is imperative that you allow the Lord to do what He needs to do right now, as you do is bringing you forth over this significant threshold -- where destiny is awaiting you on the other side.

I was also reminded of this verse in Isaiah.
Isaiah 66:9 " Shall I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?" says the Lord. "Or shall I who give delivery shut the womb?" say your God.

YOU WILL RISE AGAIN IN GREATER STRENGTH

Many have felt like they got the wind knocked out of them, through the many trials and warfare, but you are rising up from the ashes with greater strength and endurance than you have ever known that can only be found in Christ. You will walk into all that the Lord has for you. 

Things are falling into place and coming together, I saw these next few months being pivotal of such alignment, strategic moves and the Lord positioning many for greater breakthrough and to step through the doors He has prepared for many. He is bringing the right help that you need for these new assignments, He is ordering your steps and movements to be in the right place at the right time. 

For some of you, as this is not a word I would normally share. But He is bringing end-time marriages together, He is brining your helpmate. Many of you can only go so far into your calling and the Lord knows you need your helpmate to go further. I felt this strongly from the Lord they are on the way, the timing for these divine unions are in this moment and timeline of this new era that we are in. I felt this sudden urgency from the Lord to get your house in order, finishing things up, prepare, and get ready to cross paths with your helpmate. 

The title of this word says that this is not the end, and it isn't although it appears that way. However, this is where you are suppose to be in this moment of time, many don't make it into fulfilling the fullness of their destiny, because the painfulness of the process to get their is honestly hard. You are at the cusp of the beginning, and there is colossal change get ready to manifest.

I want to encourage you with this, I sensed this strongly about the next few months. The Lord is bringing many things that He has spoken forth. It will be one thing after another coming to pass, and it will be just as He said and promised it would be! Stay yielded, stand, and stay in faith that the your Kairos appointed time is here.

God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.  

The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord.

URGENT PRAYERS NEEDED - He Who Promised is Faithful!

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.   Hebrews 10:23 

Earlier this week a friend (they read this blog) said she saw 22:22 and then got this Scripture in Hebrews for us.   What we didn't know was how much that would be needed in the days ahead.  

We got sideswiped twice this week.   The hardest one is our landlord.  We have had a great relationship with them.  We send food up and down the stairs to each other.  We pray for each other.  We sit out and visit and even the wife has been attending our home group.   Thursday night we got a text telling us they were raising our rent - a total of 22.22% and that we are no longer allowed to have our prayer meeting or any company over 2 people.  The rent, they can do.  It hit us out of nowhere.  I understand some rent increase... it's more the dictating we cannot have guests and the hostile presentation of this.   We are completely flabbergasted, shocked and it hurt my heart.   They told us to abide by their rules or they would kick us out.  Ken tried to have conversation with them but they had made up their mind and said it was time for us to move.  They didn't want us here anymore.   We have NOT done anything wrong to deserve this kind of behavior. 

There is absolutely NOTHING we can afford here to rent.  2 bedroom 1 bath apartments are going for $2000 some even into $3000 a month.  We have been blessed with paying $900 including utilities. God brought us here - and even our landlords said that they prayed us in.   I have everyone I know looking for us and nothing online that we can see.  It will truly be a God miracle if something opens up.   I see everyday on Facebook groups desperate people looking for affordable rentals and even housing.  Many are living in Rv's anywhere they can find a lot or someone to rent part of their land - and often without running water and electricity.  It's a very desperate situation for us now and many others.   The other thing is that a few months ago, the Lord told me He was closing down my Facebook Marketing.  I had 4 accounts.   One by one 3 now have left.  Just couldn't continue due to economy.  No offense - no relational strain.  That income paid our rent.   Now I have one account and unfortunately its only $100 a month.  But God!!!

We are unsure of next steps....other than continued prayers and trust in our Lord Jesus.  We are clinging to Him and His unwavering promises.   We are praying blessings over all involved.  Asking for reconciliation and healing of hearts.  

This is the interesting part.  When God first showed us our move to Montana, He gave us Isaiah 22:22 I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.   Recently we went to Kansas City for a family reunion and to see friends.  The Lord showed me the trip would be closure and send off.  I didn't really know what that meant.   When we were leaving town heading home I had a vision of large ancient doors shutting behind us and we were shaking the dust off our feet.  Matthew 10:14.  I didn't see that as negative. I sensed the Lord speak to me that He was just showing us our past season is officially closed.  Whew!!  That's great news because we felt it was our wilderness, our pit and our prison - in relationship to a Joseph calling.  He told me that those doors had to shut before new doors could open.    I find it not a coincidence that all this came about with our landlord on 7/22/22.  7 means completion or fullness in the Bible and then there is the 22:22 again.   We have to believe that God is the one shutting the doors - or should I say slamming the doors and that He will open the new one soon.  

We have been praying and believing God for our destiny property.  We have been contending for a new place to live for a while - not because of anything other than size of space we have and that our home group has taken off.  We've had to turn people away.  Our home group is so special.  We all have been thoroughly enjoying it and have built an incredible bond - building an Acts 2 type community.  Several in our group are feeling a similar squeeze as we are - and same need - that only God can do it.   

We are asking for urgent prayer.  We are asking for any insight or help we can get.  We desperately need God to show up mightily.  And this weekend would be best.  I am feeling the stress of this in my body.  I have missed two nights sleep now and am experiencing incredible pain and tension.   But mostly, we need a place to live.   Can we count on you for prayer??

Did any of you doubt God would find us home in time?  Are you praying and believing for something but it hasn't come to pass yet?  Can you trust God to bring you through or meet your need?  The answer is YES, emphatically, YES!!!!!

Whoohooo!!! God is good! All the time! He did it!  On Thursday 9/25, we were driving past what we call the retreat property as we do almost every day.  Ken decided to take the scenic route through a neighborhood and we came upon a home for sale that was vacant.  We hadn't been down this road before.  So, we called the number on the sign and the owner told us where we could find a key to go in and look.  He wasn't sure if he wanted to rent it as he preferred to have it sold.  He also told us there was an open house scheduled for Saturday.  If no one showed interest on Saturday, he said he would consider us leasing it.

When we walked in, we were amazed.  The carpet and flooring was all new, fresh new paint on every wall, new countertops, range, ceiling fixtures, plumbing appliances etc.  OMG, it was clean and fresh and small.  Did I say small, I mean tiny.  It's about 1000 sq ft.  (remember we moved out of 4500sq ft in Overland Park, to a 2200 sq ft - our first rental in Eldo to now this!!!   Unfortunately, the open house was slow and no one showed interest who came (we did pray God's will be done and if God wanted to sell this home, to do so).   The owner agreed to let us rent, add a fence for the dogs, and take house off market UNTIL we are ready to move out.  That means we can lease indefinitely UNTIL the Lord opens the door for the "retreat property".   (It took 12 truck & trailer loads - 10 of which went into someone's basement and the other 2 into our new rental home).  Whew!!!  But Thank GOD for bringing us around 12 people to help those two days.  We are completely moved out of old.... still much to unpack in new!

Well....on the day we moved in 9/27 & 9/28.... we discovered, the range didn't work, the garbage disposal didn't work, the outlet for the dryer didn't work, the water connection for the washer didn't work, the tub didn't drain and it didn't have a water hook up for the refrigerator.  We contacted the landlord and with absolutely no concern, he said he'd call his repair guy to come out immediately.  The repair guy called within minutes and was out fixing all of this.......but one more thing happened.....when he went to turn off the main water supply outside, the pipe broke.  It was old and rusted.  Not his fault.  That little pipe broke required a trenching guy to come out, dig up a 35' x 4' trench so the repair guy could lay new piping.  That got done, but then the repair guy noticed the water meter was also leaking...which required him to contact the city to get repaired.  They came out the next day and trenched a 10' x 4' hole.  And water was off for the majority of those two days.   Believe it or not, we had complete peace and was just so thrilled to be in this new place!!  It is so good to be out of the old rental.  If you only knew what we endured in that home!  Ugh!  But God promoted us and gave us this wonderful place to call home for now.  Praise God!

Are you wondering if God will show up in time for your situation?  This has been a season of really going deep, pressing into Him more and more and learning what it means to abide in the vine!  It has been hard, but I believe fruitful.  We are learning more and more on how faithful He truly is and that He is our provider.  He will meet our needs (in His timing) and won't disappoint us.  Sometimes He leaves us hanging on the edge, but I think that's so He gets the glory and we learn we can't do it in our strength.  And a big lesson really learning Psalm 46:10 - Cease striving and KNOW that He is God! 

We are still contending and believing that the "retreat property" (open to another option if He so leads) will be forthcoming.  We don't know His timing on this, but are continue to walk out in faith how He is directing us..

We are excited to be starting our home group in the near, near future.   We're are blessed beyond belief as many people God has put before us are telling us we are answer to their prayers.  Looking forward to seeing what God will do!  It's been a lot of plowing and sowing!  Time to reap the harvest!  Whoohoo!!

Please continue to keep us in prayer as the Lord leads.  Specifically for my health (still much fatigue, limited sleep and high pain levels.. yet God's grace is sufficient for now).  Pray also for the provision for the vision of the retreat center/ministry center.  Where He leads, He will meet the need!
