We arrived home today from Utah from the Thrive Life Convention.... more on that on another blog.. to find that our landlord entered our apartment without notice and had an envelope from his attorney inside. The letter inside has given us 30 day notice to vacate property.
We are shocked, but then again not really. By his actions last week in raising our rent $200 (22.22%) and telling us we are not allowed to have company over 2 people nor have our bible study anymore, this really isn't much of a surprise. Him entering our property is illegal and telling us we can't have our religious meeting is illegal. We are seeking counsel on this.
What we do know - these next 30 days are going to be difficult at best. We have to pack not only our apartment but our storage unit (he owns that too) and find a place to move. There is still NOTHING available to rent that is in our price range. We don't really have anyone that can take us in. Hotels, motels and airbnb's are full with traveler's. We are in between a rock and hard place. But God!!! With HIM all things are possible.
We will be on our knees until He opens the door!

1. Facebook Marketing - This is where I help market your business or ministry on Facebook. I have had 30+ years sales and marketing and the last 8 years doing Facebook. 2. I am actively doing Thrive Life - long term food storage. This is great for people who don't like the preparation to cook meals everyday, great for singles & families - no waste, fresh food. 25 year shelf life unopened & 1 year opened (with just a few exceptions). Kids even love this - they'll eat vegetables right out of the can. This food is amazing! You can buy other products in the big box stores or online, but if you were to compare side by side - you would find this is far superior in quality and nutrition. With the ever increasing need to be prepared, food shortages, inflation, this is something I feel the Lord has asked me to be committed to. a. Be a customer - start a monthly delivery (can skip months) with a budget you can afford and prepare for what's here and coming. They offer monthly sales that are worth looking at too! Even the news channels are reporting to expect food shortages!!!!!
b. Refer people to my website who may want to store food. If you are a customer, you get a referral link. When you share that link -you get discounts and free food when they order. (a lady here had earned $1000+ in free food)
c. Become a consultant - hear me out - you don't have to sell unless you want too. People become consultants for several reasons. One - they get paid 5% on everything they spend over $50. Did you hear that - you get paid on your own orders. Two - if you share with friends and family you can build a residual income & earn free food. Especially in the first 100 days. Three - some (me) are wanting this to be a way to earn serious cash. Yes, this is a MLM company - but there compensation plan can be quite lucrative. I'm still learning all about this... there are some consultants who are "inactive" and still making 6 figures off residual sales That would be my goal - not to be inactive -but to make a nice living so we can really step into full time ministry when God opens that door. This would fund that!
3. We are trying to sell our timeshares. We have two. We have moved away from the area and there is no chance we will get back to use them.

Vision
God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.
The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted). We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord.
We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating people into the world & health and wellness retreats and more.
The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers. We are not wanting to replace their church, but better help them be ready to serve in their church.
In our community building - we will eventually have a 24/7 prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.
Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world. To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.
