Welp, that was quick!!

 Psalm 27:14 Wait for and confidently expect the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the LORD.  

This verse the Lord has been speaking to me on repeat for days.  And what's funny is the word He gave me at the 1st of the year, is Patience!!!  Oh, that's so hard to have when you need Him to show up!!   LOL! 

Last weekend we were invited to the lake with some friends.   If you haven't been to Flathead Lake here in MT, you have missed out on such incredible beauty.   It's so awesome it's just a
few hours away.     

Well, on the way there, we got a call from a  realtor saying they were showing the house on Saturday.   And this Saturday that just passed, the house was under contract and inspections were completed.  Wow!  That was fast.   There is very little communication with the landlord on details, but we know that our lease is not up until end of July.  So we are counting on having the next 2 months to find a suitable place to live and pack!    The good news is (hopefully) since the house is sold, we won't have to deal with any further showings.  We should be able to live peaceably until we exit. 

 

We have been looking for rentals and there is absolutely NOTHING in our budget range or that will accommodate what we need.  

We are trusting that God will open the door HE has for us - and we are believing that it will be our destiny doors!   That is how we are asking people to pray.  We don't know His plan, but He has been definitely speaking to us and giving us "signs" that we will be moving into the fullness of what He's called us to.   So, we contend for what we hear and trust Him for the outcome!

This is a meal I made for part of the competition.  We had to use any Kings Hawaiian product and take pictures.  This was homemade teriyaki elk burgers with grilled pineapple, or mango or caramelized onions and jalapeños with sliced avocado on a Kings Hawaiian roll.   There's a local barbecue joint here that branded the MC on the buns for me (the restaurant is called Moose Creek).  That was Ken's idea.  We also made a coconut milk, pineapple, cilantro & ginger coleslaw.  And a Jackfruit Lemonade using Thrive Life's jackfruit.  So delicious!

Oh - and this prophetic word was published today.  I had started this blog yesterday with the Scripture posted above... and then today say this and it resonated so deeply in My spirit because almost verbatim what the Lord has been speaking to me.    So encouraging. 

THIS IS NOT THE END IT IS THE BEGINNING OF THE FULFILLMENT OF YOUR DESTINY!

I know that this word is lengthy and normally don't go to the extent of writing a long word, but I encourage you to take the time to read it. I sensed that it will truly bless many.

​Many have been in the biggest transition of their lives. Things from the past have been resurfacing, the agony and pain of what you have walked through comes to remembrance. The things that were lost and stolen, and the years it has taken to get to this moment in your life, where you are finally at the cusp of stepping into the fullness of your destiny. It seems that many things have come to end, feeling of displacement, and the asking of what's next? What now Lord? 

The Lord is restoring your strength, birthing a greater boldness and confidence in you that can only be birthed through Him. There is deep work of the Holy Spirit happening that is making room for what He is about to bring forth. Not only is He bringing forth what He has promised but there is increase, provision, favor, and promotion upon you. I felt the Lord saying that He is about to show you His goodness, and that He did not forget what He promised. While many have waited for this appointed time to come, I felt the Lord saying that not only is His timing is here but it is coming with interest from the waiting, there has been a great increase added to the promises.

I was reminded of this verse in Psalms.
Psalms 27:13-14 'I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

You may have been hidden for a long time, and have felt that all you do is wait, linger, but the time has come to be revealed, to emerge, and coming forth carrying His power to go forth and do all that the Lord has called you to do. Timing is truly everything. 

What the Lord has many birthing right now is not a small feat, it is the greatest birthing and transition that you have yet to encounter. It is imperative that you allow the Lord to do what He needs to do right now, as you do is bringing you forth over this significant threshold -- where destiny is awaiting you on the other side.

I was also reminded of this verse in Isaiah.
Isaiah 66:9 " Shall I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?" says the Lord. "Or shall I who give delivery shut the womb?" say your God.

YOU WILL RISE AGAIN IN GREATER STRENGTH

Many have felt like they got the wind knocked out of them, through the many trials and warfare, but you are rising up from the ashes with greater strength and endurance than you have ever known that can only be found in Christ. You will walk into all that the Lord has for you. 

Things are falling into place and coming together, I saw these next few months being pivotal of such alignment, strategic moves and the Lord positioning many for greater breakthrough and to step through the doors He has prepared for many. He is bringing the right help that you need for these new assignments, He is ordering your steps and movements to be in the right place at the right time. 

For some of you, as this is not a word I would normally share. But He is bringing end-time marriages together, He is brining your helpmate. Many of you can only go so far into your calling and the Lord knows you need your helpmate to go further. I felt this strongly from the Lord they are on the way, the timing for these divine unions are in this moment and timeline of this new era that we are in. I felt this sudden urgency from the Lord to get your house in order, finishing things up, prepare, and get ready to cross paths with your helpmate. 

The title of this word says that this is not the end, and it isn't although it appears that way. However, this is where you are suppose to be in this moment of time, many don't make it into fulfilling the fullness of their destiny, because the painfulness of the process to get their is honestly hard. You are at the cusp of the beginning, and there is colossal change get ready to manifest.

I want to encourage you with this, I sensed this strongly about the next few months. The Lord is bringing many things that He has spoken forth. It will be one thing after another coming to pass, and it will be just as He said and promised it would be! Stay yielded, stand, and stay in faith that the your Kairos appointed time is here.

When I first got saved, I remember praying asking the Lord to give me "World Overcoming Faith".   I didn't know what that meant, really..... but I'm starting to get a basic understanding now many years later.  I'm pretty sure I haven't arrived yet and will undergo much more "schooling".

When I went on my first retreat as a brand new believer.  I remember our pastors took us out to this remote place in the country.  I had asked if anyone had any music I could listen to while I spent time with the Lord and someone offered me a cd by Kim Hill.   Music has always been very influential in my life. Good or bad.  Did you know I was listening to Christian music for 15 years prior to becoming one.   This is what God used to lead me to Him.    I wanted to share one of the songs that has most impacted me.  The Lord used this to bring His Truth and a solid foundation to my walk with Him.   Whenever I am needing a swift kick in the pants or some motivation on why I am where I am, I listen to this.

On the retreat, I listened to this song over and over and as I mentioned above, still do fairly often.  I made a vow, a commitment to the Lord, that He could use me and do with me whatever He wanted.  (sometimes, I regret praying that because of the intense "schooling" i get in walking by faith)  But overall, I am still very much committed.  

I bring this up to say this - Ken and I have been believing God for a very long time for some specific promises.   Promises that allow us the finances to step into destiny, to bless others with those same resources; promises to bring me complete healing; and many more.  

Last year the Lord showed us a move to a different area of the country.   Neither of us have ever been there nor knew anything about the place.   In the last 15 months, I have researched and researched everything I could find about that area.   I have subscribed to just about every newspaper, Facebook page, police department blotter and local businesses to get a better feel.   I have created a long list of prayer points praying specifically for those there.  We have been waiting patiently (ok not so much) on God to release us.  It felt like we were but yet, we had no idea on how to even take the first step.  We sought out counsel from some pretty big "faith" giants that we know.  They have been praying with us and leading us.  

Finally just a few weeks ago, we both heard from the Lord is was time to "go put our feet on the ground" and that everywhere we walk, He will give us the land.   The problem was - we don't have the financial resources to go.  But we know that God does!  If He leads, He meets the needs.   One of my brothers offered us frequent flyer miles, the downside is that they only take us 4 hours west of where we are going.   The upside to that is that back in 2009 we had a prophetic word that said we would step into our calling through the back door.   Well in a sense, we will enter the land on the backside.  Hmmm!   

Our hope is that we would be able to stay on the property we feel God has been leading us to.  Though we hold loosely in case He has something different in mind.  We initially thought we should wait to book the flights, but then the Lord said if you book the flight in faith, I will create a domino effect that will take care of the rest.  We even had a total stranger, prophesy those exact words not knowing of course.  Wow!    So, the flight is booked!  Now what?  Well, we need a rental car, gas for the car, lodging and food for a week.  God's got that covered!   Someone sent us a check that will cover the rental car and so we have reserved our car.  That's a big yea God.  I really didn't think walking it would be good.  LOL!   

Just a few days ago, we got a 2nd referral to a realtor in the area.  After praying, we felt led to contact him to see if he would be willing to show us properties while we are there.  We just want to see what else is available - just in case God has different plans.   In expressing our interest and sharing that we feel led to build a retreat property, the realtor responded that he thought this town would be the perfect location and that his parents used to run a retreat center in Arizona.   There were even some other commonalities and one is that he is a believer!   That's a plus!  Our story is just a wild and crazy faith adventure - trusting God to provide the abundance we need to make this happen!   My prayer is that this realtor will be just the one to walk this out with us!

Just this morning, the Lord reminded me once again, that He is pleased with the faith that we have to walk this out.  He has promised He won't fail us and that He is with us leading and guiding us each step of the way.  He said that He was happy I chose to listen to the song so many years ago and commit to His call - to walk in "BLIND FAITH".     

For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.  Romans 12:3 

This past weekend we were in KC and saw some of our long time friends, teachers and mentors.  We are so thankful for the roots, the foundations and the intense "training" we received from some very great people!  God has really blessed us by putting these people before us, to walk with us, to pray for us and to equip us to be who God designed us to be!  What an amazing and beautiful gift.   We are eternally thankful!   

I pray that whatever God is asking of you, you can trust Him.  He is good!  He is faithful and He will not fail you.  His promises are yes and amen!  He will bring whatever it is He's promised to pass!   Just believe!!!!! 

Prayer Request/Praise Reports: Ken - Ken's glasses got fogged up and had to be replaced.  God sent provision not only for the exam but for "free glasses"  through www.onesight.org that a friend shared with me.  What a blessing!    Pray for God to continue to provide the shortfall in our income.  Michele - Pain levels are high - hips, low back, knee!   I'm so ready for my healing!  Please pray for much grace until such time.  Ministry - I am so excited.  We have 2 people from KC driving 2 hours to come to our home group on Thurs nights.  They've been here 3 times and are coming tonight.  It brings joy to my soul.

Have you ever lost your peace due to unforeseen circumstances?  Have you ever felt like you were a tiny canoe on a raging ocean?  Maybe thought your spiritual house was built on sand, instead of on the Rock you thought you had?  What are you to do?  How can you calm the violent storm? 

For sometime now, I have been losing peace over our house.  Should we move?  The Lord has been quiet.  No response.  Back in 2008, Ken and I both felt like we were to put our house on the market.  Our realtor (a believer) told us she didn’t think our house would sell.  I asked her why?  She said that she didn’t feel in her spirit that God was really going to have us move.  That was confirmation as we felt the same thing, but in obedience to what we heard, we listed the home.  After about 7 months on the market, many showings later, we got an almost full-price offer in 6/2009 (that was unheard of if you remember the major housing market crash in 2008).    We accepted the offer and countered the closing date.  They verbally had accepted that and were to bring the contract back the next day.  They came back, but they didn’t leave the contract.  Matter of fact, they vanished.  Their realtor vanished, they vanished into thin air and that was that.  The next month, Ken felt the Lord said to take the house off the market when the listing expired in August.  So we did.  In the meantime, the Lord sent us to a conference where He had us pray for a couple we did not know.  And to make a very long story short, but a super duper cool God story, He had us invite this couple to live with us for 4 months.   They moved in the day our house went off the market. They were from out of town but here in KC for medical treatment.  And after they moved out, just a couple months later, God brought another person to live with us for about a year – to minister healing to them. 

Over the years since we lived in this home, we have hosted small groups, house church, prophetic & healing ministry meetings and have had 1000’s of folks come through.   We have housed and fed numerous guests as the Lord has brought them!  It has been such a pleasure. 

The Lord has spoken directly to us and through many others – specific words, destiny and calling that “seemingly” relate to this particular home.  Even so much as blueprints for a home addition to accommodate even more ministry and guests. There have been so many words and confirmations!  

But…something may be changing….. we have lost our peace, mostly as provision has almost dried up.  I have been out of work for 4 years due to serious health issues and Ken for 2 years as the Lord instructed and confirmed.  Mostly he has been taking care of me, but also as we both felt called into ministry – home ministry and chaplain in the workplace.  Those unfortunately are not paying the bills as we thought.  It’s been pretty rough….. quite frankly. 

In June, I prayed and asked the Lord to provide some wisdom through some friends who were coming to lunch the next day.  They have been walking in “Supernatural Provision”  for 30+ years.  And the Lord in His faithfulness spoke directly to them so they were prepared when they came over.  We had told them a bit about our circumstances and they felt comfortable that we had done and were doing all we could in the natural to supplement our finances.  They mentioned a good next step would be to put out a fleece before the Lord.   So we prayed and asked the Lord to help us with the fleece.  What we want most is to be in God’s will.   We want to be where God wants us to be.  I can’t go into detail about the fleece other than the first sign that we were to put the house back on the market came through just last week.  So… that is exactly what we are doing.  Our house will be officially listed for sale the end of next week.  This time, the same realtor, has a strong feeling that our house will sell quickly and what she felt it would sell for is what the Lord showed Ken exactly!  Wow!! 

Part of the fleece also has a clause in it that IF God would show up with two very specific radical signs, that would be enough for us to believe that we are to stay.  Even the worst skeptic would know God was in it.  Again, we are only wanting to be in the center of God’s will.  It’s completely up to Him. 

We are both a bit overwhelmed and confused.  A bit nervous! And very excited! 

Overwhelmed - because there is much to do to get the house marketable.  Most of this will fall on Ken and anyone who wants to help.  Thank God for his parents who are helping! 

Confused – because what do you do with all the prophetic words, things you feel the Lord has spoken that seem to relate to this home….and now we are possibly moving.   Will we have the ability to keep doing what we are doing, are we moving into a new season of completely new things or does God have a more accommodating home for us to do all of it???? So many questions and again NO answers!   We are not attached to this home…..just that we thought there was the destiny here in this home and property???

Nervous – because God is being silent.  Unusually silent.  We have no idea for sure if we are literally moving, where we will move to or how we will qualify.  What seems impossible for us, well we are asking will God do the impossible.  We have NO income so we cannot rent unless God provides a landlord who is ok with that (and 2 dogs).   We cannot buy, again NO income and not enough equity to purchase a suitable home. 

Excited – because we know God is in this and He always exceeds our expectations – and even more than we can hope or imagine, right?   He always leads us into triumph!!

Two weeks ago, the Lord told me to teach our home group about meditating on His Word and to have us all choose or let the Lord highlight Scripture to meditate on.  He was showing us the importance of getting the Word in our heart and not just in our minds.  Now of course, we all “know” that, but persuading your heart to know that you know the truth takes much effort!   Little did I know that the verse I included at the top of this post, was the first one He would show me.  This little verse, Do not be afraid, only believe has been one I have spoken and rehearsed 100’s of times in just two weeks.  Some due to health issues…but also because it’s just been under a week since we made the decision to put our house on the market.  The very day we decided to list our house, the Lord gave me this verse and it is starting to go deep into my heart. 

Exodus 15:13 – Your unfailing love will lead those You have redeemed.

 Your strength will guide them to Your holy dwelling.  (Emphasis Mine)

Praise God He loves us and He will lead us….especially since He is quiet and the hallways are very dark right now.  Praise God His strength will guide us because I have no strength to do this.  This is far more than I can handle physically and even emotionally without His grace and mercy.  Halleliuah He is guiding us to His holy “dwelling”.  That means wherever we go will be His perfect will. 

One final verse the Lord spoke to someone for me yesterday... and it relates to “dwelling” again and the Rock!  Thank YOU Jesus! He is my Rock! 

Psalm 27:4-5 One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: 

that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,

 to behold the beauty of the Lord and to meditate in His temple.   For in the day

 of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; 

In the secret place of His tent he will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock!  (Emphasis Mine)
