A lot can change in a matter of days.   Have you experienced that?  One day you're wondering what's next and the next, opportunities come out of nowhere.  

As you know Thrive Life announced in July that they were closing their doors permanently the end of August.  That date is coming fast.   I worked for them as a consultant selling freeze dried foods for those who were preparing for emergencies, everyday eating and hunters and campers since 2011.   Thrive Life was the best company in the country.  Sadly, the parent company which just recently took over, decided they wanted to cut out all of us.   

Quite a few of us within Thrive started searching out other companies that could offer at least similar to what we had.   Far and few between are there any that actually taste good and are clean, meaning non-gmo, gluten free, no additives, etc.    Well one of our leaders had  met a guy over a year ago.  When he heard about Thrive Life closing down, they sent out a box of samples to this leader.   She threw it in the mix of many she was sampling.   Well, long story short, she found the one that would meet and even beat Thrive Life on taste, quality and have the same strict standards which we've been spoiled by.

Another opportunity came quickly as well.  I had responded to a Facebook post for a local musician who needs someone to do some social media marketing across several platforms.  We met today and the job became mine over breakfast!   This is right up my alley.   It's a very little paying job but I do think there will be greater potential if things go well.  I'm on a 30 day trial period as this is new for her.   She was super famous and won CMA awards back in the 80's but left the music business when she got married and had a child.  Sadly, her husband passed and now her child is an adult and so she's getting back into it.  If you like country, you'll love her music.   She's a dear lady, gentle, humble, kind, generous and just easy to talk to.  I'm excited to be challenged to do marketing for something all together new.   And with a few connections I have, off to a good start in learning how to grow her fan club and hopefully get her into some music festivals.   Check her out here https://paulettecarlson.com/

An update about us -  Ken is still putting in lots of hours and is wiped out when he gets home.  I am continuing to work on unpacking.  Tomorrow I have a couple friends coming to hopefully tackle 1 more room after I fix a delicious brunch.   Bribery works all the time.  LOL!   

It was great to see some friends from Kansas City who recently moved to Florida.  They were visiting friends in Polson, MT at Flathead Lake for the week so they drove almost 2 hours to meet us in Missoula for a very long lunch visit.    Next time, we hope they come this way!  :)    

Thank you for  your prayers.  They are helping me.  I was in a very dark place for a while prior to and for about a week after our move. It was not a pleasant place!   But now having these opportunities before me, I have something to focus on.  God knew my heart and He sent so many praying saints to help pull me from the pit I was climbing into.    Please continue to pray for us - for provision (for these jobs to take off and make some decent income, for health, for sleep.   Oh and our home group has decided to put it on "pause" as we have no place to meet for this season.  That's going to be a big change for us.  We've hosted home groups since 2002.  We've rarely not met in all these years.

Joyful Shouting Will Come!

Nehemiah 12:43 And on that day they offered great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. The sound of rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard far away.

Have you ever found yourself waiting on God to fulfill a promise He has spoken to you?  When will that day come?  

Today, my reading was in Nehemiah 12.  I don't know whether it was lack of sleep or lack of focus from lack of sleep, but I was not "getting" anything from the passage.   So I went to journaling where I poured out my cries and heart to the Lord once again.   Blah blah blah - really!  I wonder if He gets tired of hearing from me.   I said Lord, I am tired.  I am weary on so many levels.  You have promised this and promised that and YET I still have not seen the answers, the promises fulfilled. 

I'm the persistent widow day in day out crying out.  I'm the lady clinging to the hem of Jesus's garment.  I'm the one leper that always comes back and gives God thanks and praise for something He has done.  I'm the centurion with great faith trusting He will bring forth healing.  I'm Abraham surrendering my Isaac to the Lord repeatedly.  I'm the one my 4 friends are lowering on the mat through the roof.  I'm Job wondering what chapter I'm in of that book and hoping its the last one. I'm Elijah being fed by a raven.   I'm Lazarus at times wondering if Jesus will come before I die. I'm Joseph pit, prison and waiting.  I'm Thomas saying I won't believe until I see.   I'm Moses wandering in the wilderness for now 38 years... trying hard to not murmur and complain.   I feel like some of the minor prophets having to "experience" the word that God has given them to share with His people.   

All of these and others had to experience long waits.  They had to wait forever it seemed for God to come through, for God to rescue them, for God to heal them, for God to take them into their promised land, for the promises to be made manifest.   I am no different - and most likely you aren't either.  

So after I journaled much of what I just wrote... the Lord said look up some commentary on Nehemiah 12.  I stumbled on this blog below.  As I read it, it seemed as if the Lord wanted me to find this blog.  He was reassuring me, that He is working behind the scenes.  He is working things for my good.  And He will for you too.

“When the Lord brought back the captive ones of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joyful shouting; then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us; We are glad. Restore our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.”

Psalm 126

It seemed like a dream.  The people of captivity had not only served their God-ordered time through being in exile, God had begun the process of restoration.  The temple was built.  The walls were complete.  The city of Jerusalem was safe.  Nehemiah brought all the Levites together, had massive amounts of choirs who through the dedication of the wall was a time of celebration.  I’m sure they never believed it would happen.

But it did.  And it came in God’s timing.

There are things we each hold to or wonder, will it ever happen?  There are countless tears we’ve cried over situations, people and our own life of regret.  We’re like those who dream.  Dream of something that is so far beyond our reach and seems to be impossible.

This lifetime brings a lot of sowing in tears.  Heartache is a constant.  Sadness and loneliness can be suffocating.  Disappointment often bites at our heels.  We stare into the future and think things will never change, people will never change, our life will never change.  What’s interesting to consider:

Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

As the Psalm states, as the one who weeps is still sowing.  They’re scattering seed as they go even in deep sadness.  It’s really something to think about.  They don’t stop doing what they’ve been called to do.  In season and out of season, they continue their job.

God has the greatest ability to restore things that once were burnt up, broken, desolate.  Forest fires in time see new growth.  Broken bones heal.  And as much as it sounds cliche, God is able to bring good from any tragedy we are experiencing.

If we don’t have hope, then what do we have?  Some may be at a point of quitting.  Others may be in the mindset of ‘what’s the use?’  Darkness in some situation may be thick.  Beyond what the situation
dictates cling to, hold to, remind yourself that in time God’s great harvest of joy is coming.

What really caught my eye was the part which says, the one who weeps is still sowing. They are scattering seed.  They don't stop doing what they've been called to do.  That is true with me.  Though I am contending for my healing, for the financial provision for the vision, I am still doing all that God has asked.   I am thankful for the people along the way who encourage me with kind words amazed at all I do despite the suffering....  It's those little things that strengthen me.    

My point with all this is this - just as it said - keep doing what you know that God has asked of you (whether that's a knowing in your heart, or simply what the Word of God asks us to do).   Stay in faith.  I don't always agree with the statement "His timing is perfect" but when it comes, hindsight will make sense of this.  It always does.   He will do what He says!!    

God has spoken to me often - that when the dream is realized, when the promises come forth, I'll say repeatedly pinch me to see if this is real.  And He says "they" will know that I AM the Lord your God! I cannot wait for that day!  

Prayer & Praises - 

Ken - please continue to pray for Ken - strength and endurance and for 40 hour work week.  He's already working outside these past 2 days with snow overnight and forecasted all week.  Montana hasn't decided it's spring yet.   

Michele - My friend and I have been working diligently on 1 of 4 books I am writing.  It's time consuming and takes a lot of mental energy.  Please pray for sleep - and mental focus.  I am still soliciting stories... something you've prayed for and how God answered.  If you would message me we can coordinate a time to chat and I can scribe while you share the story. 

Please pray for provision - for the vision and for everyday living.  God is faithful! We are trying to decide whether to sell our 2nd car.  Ken has a company truck..and we don't use the car often....but it would be expensive to replace it if the need arises.  

Our home group is so rich and rewarding....and so full of the Holy Spirit moving.  

Our pastor of church asked me to plan and do all regarding a Seder coming this Friday. So that has kept me busy and will through Friday pm.  

Saturday we head to Butte, Mt where we will see Bob Sorge speak.   He's from KC - and an amazing teacher.  We used to have him at our home church in Kc often.   There's a group of us going.  It will be a good time.  Please PRAY for NO snow or inclement weather as forecasted.  We are staying on top of a hill in a Airbnb - which we have before.  Literally a straight steep road down.  It will not be pleasant if there is bad weather.  Butte is also higher elevation which tends to have more snow.

The Goodness of God!

 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Psalm 27:13 

God is good, isn't He.  I want to thank you for those that responded to my previous blog (part of listed again below).  

This past week, the Lord has been speaking to me that He will bless the work of my hands.   At first, I was like, but what do I do with my hands that you can bless.  I'm kind of a literal person.  Well, duh.  He said when you write, when you blog, when you type, when you post to social media, when you cook for others, when you lay hands and pray for others, I will bless that.   This morning, He said, blog again and let others know what I am doing for you.  He wants you to know that the prayers you have been praying are being answered.  He is a good God.

1.  Back to Thrive Life - when the Lord told me to start doing this again in October, I agreed. This past month or so, the Lord has brought me a few customers/consultants that are stocking up big time... by that I mean, one has spent $23,000 already.  Freeze dried food companies are barely keeping up.  So much product going in and out of stock.   That should concern you some and also encourage you to prepare.   Because of the increase in sales,  I have moved up the ranks 4 levels this month alone and am soooooo close to the next level.  (That happened literally overnight and I was so in awe of what God did, I cried tears of JOY - experiencing His goodness.    Totally unexpected!!!  And if that wasn't enough, one of the corporate employees messaged me this week and said that I was on target for the annual getaway trip.   I've heard of it, but definitely it wasn't in view or a goal.   So I checked into the trip.  It is 5 days and 4 nights in Cancun at https://www.barcelo.com/en-us/    - It includes hotel, flights, 3 meals a day at six 5 star restaurants and incredible sandy beaches.   Ken and I have been praying for a vacation for some time.  The last one we had was in 2010!!!    This would be amazing!    I feel like the Lord is telling me He will bless my hands and help us to get there!  We will see.   I only need $4500 in sales in April to reach the next goal.... 

My heart is not to beat people over the heads to buy, but to educate and help them make good choices for themselves and their family.  If the blessings come, all credit to God.   Let me give you an example this week.  A consultant of mine ordered around $9300 in food.  When I saw her order, it showed Retail and she paid over $600 in shipping.   So I called her and long story short, we called customer service together, changed it over to Monthly Delivery so she was able to save 15% and got FREE shipping.  God blessed me by helping her -she increased her food order to over $10,000.      

2.  Thank you to those who felt led to sow into us.  Your support helped us with a chunk of our tax bill.  It brought me to tears again.   I am so emotional lately with God's love and goodness.  Even know things aren't completely where I want them to be, I am seeing His hand and heart!

3.  And for those that have been praying for my healing.... it's coming.   I am seeing some improvement in the pain I've had in my back for almost 3 years now.  It seems like morning to late afternoon, the pain is quite tolerable... and then by early evening until bed, the pain creeps up.   I am thankful for any and all reprieve.  I've dealt with pain and health issues for 38 years now and I am extra worn out.   Sleep is better than 2-4 hours and yet still asking God for more consistent and continuous sleep.  It takes a while to fall asleep and I wake up often leaving me exhausted.  But the good news - there is improvement and God is working hard to bring me into healing!  I feel it!   I have also been using red light therapy - which I feel the Lord led me to - it can actually heal at a cellular level.  I've been doing this 3-5x a week for a few months - that may be the improvements I am seeing.  I think so! 

The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. Deuteronomy 28:12

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more souls into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.  

       

Endurance

Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.  James 1:4 NIV

What a season we are in!! Are you feeling it too? 

The movie Overcomer just came into our area. God knows what you need when you need it!   It was such an excellent movie about perseverance and endurance and focusing on the prize set before us!   I won't spoil the movie in case you haven't seen it - but I will say that there is one part of the movie that almost verbatim was what God has been speaking to me in my quiet time.   I may have to watch it a few 1000 more times until this season of endurance is over!!!  (Please let that be today)  LOL! 

Switch gears a bit....

The other day I was praying for a friend and I got a vision.  

I felt led to invite angelic hosts to intercede and do battle. I saw a battle above your place going on ...and so I asked God to bring the heavy hitters, the angels who can destroy the works of darkness. I see swords clashing but I see a brilliant light on the other side of the battle field. That's the side the angels are heading towards taking ground. There are many casualties on the evil side. I see the banner Victory Line.

Just a few minutes after I shared this vision with my friend, another post came in view that confirmed my vision. For those that know me, know my brain works like a connect the dot board.  I pick up easily on themes and patterns and it's reassuring to know that God is speaking to others similarly to what He's speaking to me.  So many of us are going through an incredibly difficult and long season - waiting on God for a promise or two or three.   It's comforting to know that others are in the battle with you.  I am so thankful for those who are praying for me/us continually - and for those who check in with me regularly.   Honestly, I don't know what I would do without you all!   So thankful for the Body of Christ!

I HEARD THE LORD SAY “I AM ESTABLISHING YOU IN ENDURANCE”

For the last few months the Lord has been speaking to me a lot about endurance. That there is a deep work of His Spirit taking place right now to raise up a people of ENDURANCE.

ENDURANCE DEFINITION:

1. the ability to endure an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way.

2. the capacity of something to last or to withstand wear and tear.

SYNONYMS: continuance, continuity, continuation, lasting power, durability, permanence, longevity; constancy, stability, changelessness, immutability; rare, lastingness, everlastingness, bearing, tolerance, sufferance, fortitude, forbearance, patience, acceptance, resignation, resolution, determination;

As I sat with the Lord recently speaking with Him regarding a battle that I was in and I was feeling weary, what the Holy Spirit spoke to me surprised me. He said to me “Lana, I am giving you a gift”. Immediately I was excited. “Awesome! Thank you Jesus! What is the gift?” His next word surprised me. He said “ENDURANCE”.

I expected Him to say “BREAKTHROUGH!!!” or something that would indicate the end of the battle immediately. Now, had He promised me breakthrough in my battle in the circumstances I was facing, ABSOLUTELY, but what happened in that moment? I was taken to a place where I realised not only was the Lord going to fulfil His promise to me and I was going to seize the land He had promised me, but in the midst of my battle, in the midst of my wrestle, in the midst of the testing of my faith, in the midst of the pressing and the hardship, God was not only going to remain faithful to His Word, but my loving Father was doing something BIGGER than I expected. In the midst of the battle, God was doing something so much bigger than I could ever imagine. He was teaching me to ENDURE and strengthen Me to “go the distance” and move forward in longevity. To run empowered by the Spirit into all that He has for me and my destiny stronger than ever and without hindrance.

Since that encounter with the Lord, the word ENDURANCE is burning in me. The Lord spoke to me that this is a corporate decree and banner over the body of Christ right now, that He is building a people of ENDURANCE. He is teaching the body of Christ what it means to ENDURE.

The Lord is burning strongly on my heart that we NEED this work of His Spirit in endurance in our hearts and lives right now in order to CARRY what He is releasing in this new era.

In this new era God is removing HIGHLIGHTING and DEALING with anything that would hinder His people from living in strong endurance. He’s delivering His people from the fear of man, He is bringing His people higher into the revelation of living from your seat (Ephesians 2:6), He is healing the heart, He is aligning the heart, there is a testing of faith that’s taken place, He is establishing His people deeper in the Word of God, He is dealing with compromise and awakening the Church, He is going to restore the fear of God to the Church, He is sounding the alarm for CONSECRATION AND HOLINESS, plus SO much more.

The Lord has been showing me in so many ways, in order for us to partner with Him and His Spirit in what He is going to do in the earth in this new era, it is going to require a people that are established in endurance in Him. It is going to require a mature Church that is founded and grounded in the Word and established in discernment and the ways of God. It’s going to require a people who are living by every word from His mouth (Matthew 4:4) and are sensitive to His ways and know what it is to live in the place of strength and endurance, DESPITE what is going on around them in the natural.

Living in the place of deep endurance comes not from anything in the natural but from relationship with Him and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

Friends, I want to encourage you, your battle has not been for nothing. The Lord is going to be faithful to His Word to you. He is going to make things right. He is going to demonstrate Himself as healer like you’ve never seen. He is going to reintroduce you to His power and the earth is going to be reintroduced to His power like never before.

The Lord is not only giving you gifts of joy and breakthrough in this new era, but He is also giving you a gift in the midst of your battle. ENDURANCE! As you walk this battle WITH Jesus and allowing Him to do His work within you, He is teaching you what it means to ENDURE. He is preparing you for the future. He is training you to walk by faith. I am not saying the circumstances of evil, sickness, disease, pain, trauma are authored by Him, that is NOT what I am saying. What I am saying is IN the fire He is teaching you to ENDURE with Him by faith and to OVERCOME. Many new ministries, new assignments and anointings are being released in the fire right now where the Lord is establishing endurance.

I prophesy to you that as you come out of these battles, as you come out of the fire, you are coming out with ENDURING FAITH. You are coming out with STAYING POWER! You are coming out TRANSFORMED and FORTIFIED by His hand and the power of His Word outworking in your life. You will KNOW that it is the hand of God and the energising POWER of His Spirit because of the level of weariness you have experienced and experience, you continue to push through, you continue to fight, you continue to believe, you fall down and get back up again. That’s not your efforts, that’s Him! “Somehow” you get the strength to fight again, that’s the Holy Spirit. As much as hope deferred screams, disappointment hangs heavy there’s still something within you that gives you a little strength to ‘keep hanging in there’ – that’s JESUS! Even in the moments where you have said “I GIVE UP”, there’s something in you causing a ‘restlessness’ that says “keep hanging in there!!”, yet causes your soul to SCREAM “I want to give up”.

In those places, God is whispering “I am teaching you to live by MY SPIRIT and not your soul. To live by your soul will cause you to fall, to live by My Spirit will cause you to ENDURE.”

There is a divine rearranging taking place that in these battles the Lord is teaching His people to live by the Spirit and not led by the soul.

Out of His love, God is training, healing, building and establishing the Church in endurance like we have never seen because in this new era there will be many times where the Church will need the STAYING POWER OF FAITH and the heart of endurance that speaks, charges forward and remains even when all of hell tries to stop it in the earth. The enduring power that Jesus demonstrated at the Cross is being released into His people NOW for the sake of the glorious GOOD NEWS of the Gospel going forth. An army of light arising in this hour of Isaiah 60 unapologetic, unashamed and unshakeable declaring Jesus as the way, the truth and the life and being immovable by the impossibilities that shout.

We are entering into a time of the greatest demonstrations of His power in the earth and seeing His Glory manifest as a Church arises with great endurance and conviction living and governing from the heavenly places and seeing it manifest on the earth. The Church that endures and walks by faith like never before that will see the most glorious signs, wonders and miracles in the face of giants, opposition or darkness. His light and Glory will shine brighter.

The overcomers are truly being birthed!

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks[a] to the Father, who has qualified you[b] to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.” (Colossians 1:9-12 ESV)

“My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! 3 For you know that when your faith is tested[a] it stirs up power within you to endure all things. 4 And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.” (James 1:2-4 TPT)   END

And the God of peace will swiftly POUND Satan to a pulp under your feet! And the wonderful favor of our Lord Jesus will surround you.  Romans 16:20TPT

Vision

God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.  

The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord. 

We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating people into the world & health and wellness retreats and more.  

The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but better help them be ready to serve in their church.
