Vision

God Gave His Word

 When God made his promise to Abraham, he backed it to the hilt, putting his own reputation on the line. He said, “I promise that I’ll bless you with everything I have—bless and bless and bless!” Abraham stuck it out and got everything that had been promised to him. When people make promises, they guarantee them by appeal to some authority above them so that if there is any question that they’ll make good on the promise, the authority will back them up. When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, a rock-solid guarantee—God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable.

We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek.  Hebrews13-20 The Message

Is there a promise God has spoken to you? Is there a dream you are waiting on to come to pass? 

God is speaking......

Last week Ken was leaving for work when he heard the Lord say "our water has broke ". He came in to tell me because it was definitely odd for him, a man, to hear that. That night we were watching a show and a lady was pregnant. She turned to her husband and said my water broke, it's time...and shortly thereafter, she delivered twins. Just another day later, we were watching another show and again a lady had delivered twins. 

I hear the Lord say "GET READY", your water has broke and you will receive DOUBLE as your portion. Some of you are already seeing suddenlies. This is just the beginning of blessings. 

In a vision, I saw a snowball running down hill, gaining momentum & increasing in size. God is about to do the miraculous in your life and ministry. Things are about to change, EXCEEDINGLY more than you can hope or imagine. 

Today, Ken had a vision of a large picture type window running along the entire back of the house.  Ken was pulling the blinds so that we could see the beautiful view out those windows.  His sense was that God is about to unveil the promises.  

No hype.....these promises are for those who have stayed the course with committed faith.... 

Vision

Ken & I symbolically have been pregnant a very long time (way past 9 months) with the vision to build Sonlit Fields Retreat, Ministry & Equipping Hub.  We are READY FOR DELIVERY!!!!!

The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer 30-50 private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, screened in porches and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord. 

We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating, health and wellness retreats and more.  

The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but more help them be ready to serve in their church. 

In our community building - we will have a 24/7 (eventually)  prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.  

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!! 

Update/Prayer Requests

We've been praying, contending and believing for the provision for this vision and yet discouragement sometimes hits us like a ton of bricks.  We know God's timing is perfect, we just wish He would maybe let us in on some those details.  

I have been using my new computer for almost a month (I LOVE IT) - well (it's taken almost this long to get all my old stuff transferred over to the new one and organized).   I have taken 1 webinar on social media and have 2 more scheduled.  Whew! So much to learn in order to be truly for hire.  I'm not ready for that yet. I do have a family member who is interested in hiring me - so that will help me get my feet wet and learn more as I go.

Please pray for us as we have so much to learn about 501c3, holding our first board meeting soon and all that needs to be accomplished in that.  We feel completely inadequate!   

Please continue to pray that God will bring the provision for the vision..... 

Please pray for daily provision.  We are at 25% of our needed income with no opportunities to earn enough around here.   

Please pray for Ken - he is still part time at Dollar General - it's hard physical work and he is quite exhausted with little energy leftover.  Please pray for his health stamina! 

Please pray for my health.  I've been doing some internet & phone call research for our local christian school.  I am finding that mental endurance needs more healing.  I'm thankful for this opportunity.  

PRAISE REPORT - I am sleeping!!!  I am getting almost a full nights sleep.  There are some nights I don't mostly because the dogs wake us up with storms.  I found a new natural supplement and I believe God is using that to let me sleep!!  Whoohoo!!!    PRAISE GOD - the headaches i had for 30+ years are almost gone!  I don't typically have any headaches unless I don't drink enough water.  And when I do, I drink water & take honey ginger.  NO more excedrin!!  That's huge because it was definitely affecting my liver and kidney's.

Wow!!  Wow!!!! Wow!  

Our 501c is approved!!  Sonlit Fields Retreat, Ministry & Equipping Hub!    

OMG - we are surprised and thrilled!  

StartChurch who was preparing our paperwork said that the IRS was frowning on home church and retreat centers these days and since we are under 25 in attendance, we had 3 strikes against us! 

BUT GOD!!!!  We not only got approved but we got approved exactly as we got applied for!  

Last month we got notice from the IRS that they received our package and would be reviewing it.  They said it would take a minimum of 6-8 months before we would hear from them..... and now only a month later, we are approved, first try, no extra paperwork as we were expecting!  We've been told that many are seeing never ending questions and delays from the IRS.  This is paramount that we got first time approval!!!  

God is good, all the time and all the time, God is good!!!  

And another God story!!!!!!  

As you know we have been praying and trusting God for provision for some time!  And Ken is still only working part time.  There are NO jobs here!  With my health, me working outside the home is not possible.  I've been looking for work at home jobs for sometime with no luck.   I keep asking God to open a door!  Well, HE did!!  I saw on Facebook, a webinar that would allow me to work from home and potential to make enough income for us.  After praying about it, Ken & I agreed to spend the money to sign me up.  The very next day, my computer crashed!!  Seriously!!! I spent 4 hours on the phone with Apple Support (that was miraculous too since I don't have a warranty) and they said it was just too old and couldn't be repaired (that's a long story short).  Ugh!!   I immediately turned to the Lord and said, is this You stopping me from working or is the enemy trying to block me???  He said post a prayer request on Facebook.  Reluctantly I posted a prayer request.  Long story short - 2 weeks later a friend from Kansas City reached out to us and said he was feeling led to pay for the new Macbook computer.  Oh my!!!!  Wow! Wow!! Wow!!!!!!!!! 

Update/Prayer:

Please continue to pray for immediate provision and that I can secure some immediate clients after I take the webinar next week, my health and provision for the vision of Sonlit Fields!  We have a property in mind that is not on the market but the seller's have agreed to sell to us and help us design, develop & build out the retreat property once we have funds!! That's another God story!   God is just amazing us!!!

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.  Romans 5:3-5

If you've been waiting on God for something, you're not alone!  It seems as if there have been many I've heard from that are believing God for something BIG.  Like us, we've done all we can in faith, trusting, believing, contending & decreeing......and all that is left is God's part.  So what do we do next?

The end of December, in my quiet time, I asked the Lord for a specific date that we would see the provision for the vision (Sonlit Fields Retreat, Ministry & Equipping Hub).  Immediately, I heard a date and I asked God, "how do I know that's not just my imagination".  And He said, He would give us something while in KC and He was right, we got what He said.  After coming back, the Lord gave us at least 5 more, what we call ignorant signs, confirmations and were extremely hopeful for the date to come.  However, the date came and went!  I asked God what was the reason for the provision for the vision not coming as we "heard".  I felt He said there is much warfare associated with this.  I understand warfare, but I don't understand why the delay since He gave us such a specific date.  So I continued in prayers, seeking clarity.

Two weeks ago I saw a rainbow angel in a vision. I didn't know at first what I was seeing but it was brilliant in color. I inquired with someone who sees the angelic often and he led me to Ezekiel 1:28.... All around him was a glowing halo, like a rainbow shining in the clouds on a rainy day. This is what the glory of the Lord looked like to me. When I saw it, I fell face down on the ground, and I heard someone’s voice speaking to me.  I asked the Lord what is this angel and why am I seeing it. The Lord said that it was the angel of My Promises. I asked for clarity. He said, I AM releasing the angel to manifest & bring "the personal promises" I have spoken to you. Last week I saw the angel again. This time his wings were arched and his hands were in a prayer posture and then they came down and looked as if they were serving up the promises to each of us in the room.

Last time God was preparing us for our move from KC to Eldo, He showed us 444 several times. (Our prayer is the next move is into Sonlit Fields Retreat, Ministry & Equipping Hub). Our current lease is up in 30 days.....

Heres what that means - 444, 4444
Open door, creative miracles, creative opportunities opening, invitation to encounter fresh intimacy with God, Come up higher, fresh perspective and increase of vision, breakthrough season of victory.

So today I write the check for rent & the check # is 3444. And our bank balance ends in 444. Today is the 29th which biblically means departure...and its leap year.....in my quiet time today, this is what I happened to read. 

Romans 8, The Message: "That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times. The created world itself can hardly wait for what’s coming next. Everything in creation is being more or less held back. God reins it in until both creation and all the creatures are ready and can be released at the same moment into the glorious times ahead. Meanwhile, the joyful anticipation deepens.  All around us we observe a pregnant creation. The difficult times of pain throughout the world are simply birth pangs. But it’s not only around us; its within us. The Spirit of God is arousing us within. We’re also feeling the birth pangs. These sterile and barren bodies of ours are yearning for full deliverance. That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy."  

So what's next?  I believe that God is telling us things are about to change.  I believe He is wanting all those who are contending and waiting on a promise to know, it's coming soon. Hang on.  Don't give up faith!  Don't try and get ahead of God and birth an Ishmael, but wait patiently on the Lord....and your Isaac will come.  

Hope deferred makes the heart sick

but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.  Proverbs 13:12 

Update:  

Ken is still working part time at Dollar General.  It's been hard on both of us, mostly as his hours are up early (anywhere between 3am-5am).  But, it's the only paying job available and am thankful he's willing and able to work it.   We've been fortunate to have financial resources from the proceeds of the sale of our home to supplement the income, but those are at the end.   I've (Michele) been trying to find some type of work from home job that doesn't require sales or customer service but nothing I've  been able to find.  My biggest health need is SLEEP.  I  am still struggling to get sleep.  I'm only averaging 2-4 hours and is still taking a toll on my health.  I believe once the sleep issues are healed, the rest of me will be healed quickly.  Please continue to pray for my complete healing!!!!
