Over the last few months, the Lord has been showing us among others that false teachers and false prophets are rising up faster than you can blink an eye.  The enemy disguises himself as an Angel of Light and uses partial truth to convince you it's truth.  He is the master of deception.  The sad part is those that are being deceived, don't believe they are or don't know they are being deceived.  

I received this article in my inbox recently and felt it articulated well what the Lord has been revealing.  I asked for permission to reprint on my blog.  I hope you find it enlightening as I did.

I had a neat vision yesterday that I thought I would share with you all. Gayle and I had been praying yesterday, and I sensed that the Lord wanted to speak something to me. Afterwards, it amazed me to understand what the Lord was speaking to me through this. Here is the vision: I was standing in my back yard, and looked over at my neighbors house. They have a well manicured yard, and lots of flowers and plants. I watched him have a conversation with someone, and he said to the other person "you are free to plant in my garden". The next thing I saw was my neighbor in a panic trying to pull thistles out of his yard and garden that were spread out of control. The thistles had choked every good plant out of his garden. The garden is your heart, and your life. The thistles are biblical error, and deception. It is your responsibility to KNOW what is being sown into your garden. We will all realize the fruit of what we allow to be planted in us. I asked the Lord, what are you showing me here? He said the following: Many people run here and there allowing people and ministries to speak into their lives. They have not tested the spirits to see whether they be of God. Many lives are being plundered right now because of biblical error that is being spread in the name of Christianity. The Lord then showed me that people are running here and there allowing people to speak into their lives without knowing what is being sown into them. It sounds good, but is not always God.. The Lord reminded me of His word in Revelation 2:2 which says "I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:" What a statement! How many people do you know who say they are Apostles? Are they speaking into your lives? Have you measured the teaching up to the Word of God? I know there are Apostles in the church today, and I thank God for them. I also know there are false Apostles and Prophets out there right now.. Do you know how precious "your garden" is in the sight of God? Who is tending it? Are you plugged into a local fellowship where people can speak into your lives? I am not downing internet fellowships, we are one of them. I am saying that you need to CAREFULLY examine and discern who and what is being spoken into your lives. Look at 2 Timothy 3:1-7 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Here is Gods recipe for a healthy spiritual life which when we do, we will not fall into deception: Start with a SOLID foundation of the Word of God. Time personally spent with YOUR Bible in hand! Be accountable to someone who has authority to speak into your life. Preferably local fellowship. Examine the fruit of those speaking into your life. (I will not allow anyone to speak into any area of my life that they do not have Biblical victory in that area). In other words, would you allow a stock broker who is broke to give you advice on stocks to invest in? Would you allow someone who abuses their body to talk to you about your diet? God wants us to be CAREFUL what (and who) we listen to! This doesnt mean that we become critical of others. If someone speaks something into my life, I examine it against the Word of God, then against the nature of God, then whether it bears witness with my spirit. Do you think I will allow just anyone to ever speak a word to my children who Gayle or I have not known and discerned? There is SO much error flying around the body of Christ right now that we have to be alert at every second of every day! Don't follow teachers that throw around names, and titles.. My rule is this... If  you are an Apostle, be an Apostle, I don't need to be told what you are, I need to see it in your ministry and your life. If you are an Apostle or Prophet, God will be speaking things that line up with His word to you, and I will discern the Spirit of God in you. I am NOT telling you to reject every person who comes to you saying they are "something" I am telling you to ask the Lord to show you if He has brought them into your life, or if the devil is trying to bring "trouble" into your life by them. We have enough to deal with life itself without "ADDING" to our woes by allowing error and deception in. Gayle and I are very careful who is in our lives, and God honors this principle. We have learned to be "Wise as serpants, and harmless as doves" We do not reject anyone who comes into our lives, we discern "whether they be of God", then we ask the Lord, did you bring them into our lives, and for what purpose? If God brings someone into your life, it is ONLY for the following reasons: 1: They are there to help you with your walk with the Lord (they make deposits into your life). 2: They are there to be helped by you. (you make deposits into their life). 3: The relationship is mutually beneficial (these are the relationships we love)!!! RUN from any teaching or ministry that creates confusion or division in your life or family. Jesus said it so well in Matthew 24:4-5 "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."  Jesus Loves You! Stand in faith! He will take care of you. Only believe!! Our LLC is official - Want InSight Chaplain Services.  God has brought us a business coach to help us and we are excited to see how that goes.  We still have many things that need to be done, logo design, website, etc.... waiting on God to provide the resources.

Prayer requests: 

Please pray for Michele's continued improvement in health, especially mental & physical energy.  She is boldy declaring God's Truth and know that He will bring her into complete healing in her body.

Pray for clarity and timing on a few mission trips we sense are coming.   

God is our Jehovah-Jireh... and He has called us to a journey of faith for provision, in this season.  It is truly by your faithfulness and obedience to the Holy Spirit's prompting that our needs are being met.  Thank YOU.   Please pray for us as it is a difficult walk - teaching us a much deeper trust.
