Peaceful, Secure & Undisturbed!

My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest. Isaiah 32:18  NIV

Back in October 2017, our pastor's wife gave us a Thomas Kincaid wall tapestry.  It had this scripture on it.  It's a picture of a cabin in the woods in the mountains.  It has a waterfall like stream coming down the mountain into a pond.  Just looking at it brings so much peace and comfort (obviously intended).    When we got this beautiful gift we lived in Missouri.  It definitely didn't fit the decor of our home then.  It was the verse that jumped out at me and has been the verse for our vision since.

Yesterday, the Lord took Ken to the verse but in a different translation (the one above) as it applies to our current housing situation.   It is a promise God has given us long before we knew we needed it.  It is a promise for those who will refuge on the property He has for us when the vision comes to fulfillment.

Just a few days ago I blogged on our circumstances.  Since then, I have seen such peace and comfort knowing that God is leading us and guiding us right into His purposes.  We have no idea what that looks like exactly..... but we do feel a peace that maybe a door will open for destiny.

Saturday we spent the entire day making phone calls, driving up and down and all around this 90 mile valley looking for a place we could land.  Not one door has opened.

Yesterday He said to me..... you can knock on as many doors as you want and they will not open.....because I will open the door that you didn't have to knock on.   That's a pretty cool statement and a reassurance that it won't be in our strength or efforts.  It's difficult to let go - and trust in this situation, but we feel that is what He is saying.  Just praise Him.  Just offer thanks and gratitude for what He has done and what He will do.  And I don't mean JUST - but I mean make that a habit.  We are keeping our eyes focused on Him.

Like the Israelites when they crossed the Jordan, the Lord had them put up stones as a reminder of what He did.   These past few days I've been reminded and thanking Him for similar situations.   When we were moving from Kansas City to El Dorado Springs, MO - the movers called the night before they were coming to move us and asked where they were moving us.  We didn't know in that moment.  The next day when they arrived, we knew this - move to store.  We had to live 3 weeks in someone else's home until the home in Eldo opened.     The next time was moving out of that house and into the next one.  The landlords sold the house out from underneath us with a lease in place.  It was a Wednesday and we had to be out by Sunday.  We had no place to go.  Similar to here in the sense that there was NOTHING that was even remotely rentable.  Long story short - the house we moved in was up for sale and the owner did NOT want to rent it again.  He had just spent 10K fixing it up from their mess and wanted it sold.  We shared our story and on Saturday at 12pm we began to move in.  We were out in just the knick of time.   When we were moving from Missouri to Montana... no doors were opening in 3 years... we knocked.  Folks wouldn't rent to us because we didn't have jobs there and we couldn't get a job in Montana without living here.  Such a catch 22.  But when God said GO - he opened the door to where we are living now!  It just came open!!   He is faithful!

These are testimonies of God's faithfulness in our lives..and He has prepared us for this time - though we are not excited to walk through it.  The tension here is thick.  I won't go into details but it's so out of character for them and ungodly.  All we can do is heap coals on them in the spirit - by asking God to bless them and bring peace.  WE know that what the enemy meant for harm, God will turn for GOOD!

So thankful for the many of you who reached out and shared that you are praying for us.  We are grateful beyond words.  I mean that sincerely.  We have such a peace from your prayers.  Please continue as you feel led!   We are reaching a place to be peaceful, secured & undisturbed as the Scripture says - in our current home... and am believing God will take us to our next home that will be even more peaceful, secure & undisturbed.   Thank you Lord!

Oh and here's some good news.  I got two emails from Corporate Thrive Life this week.  One they are going to recognize/acknowledge my success at the Convention this weekend.  And two they asked me to be on a panel with other consultants sharing.  What an honor.  I don't really desire or need public recognition, but the Lord showed me that He wanted me to see this as His favor on my life - and that we are up for promotion!   Cool!   Please pray for safe travels - as w are traveling through Salmon, ID and there are raging fires threatening to close the highway.

Please reach out if you hear anything that could help us.  We are so thankful for the body of Christ!  We love each of you and am thankful for your care!   Below are some ways you can help if you feel led.

-----

1.  Facebook Marketing - This is where I help market your business or ministry on Facebook.  I have had 30+ years sales and marketing and the last 8 years doing Facebook. I took over 40 hours of training and am still actively pursuing further knowledge on how to increase traffic to your page and build a customer base.  I have had huge success with several companies over the years.  I am really geared towards small business.   So if you know of anyone who might want my services, I'd love to chat.

2.  I am actively doing Thrive Life - long term food storage.   This is great for people who don't like the preparation to cook meals everyday, great for singles & families - no waste, fresh food.  25 year shelf life unopened & 1 year opened (with just a few exceptions).   Kids even love this - they'll eat vegetables right out of the can.   This food is amazing!  You can buy other products in the big box stores or online, but if you were to compare side by side - you would find this is far superior in quality and nutrition.  Thrive Life is the leading company out there.  They are proactive -and offer non-gmo, organic and mostly organic (some items they haven't paid for that label as to keep prices down).   They are a great company to work for.  For those that know me, know I am a foodie.   I've tried many other companies brands before I found this and this is the product I believe in and KNOW is good!

With the ever increasing need to be prepared, food shortages, inflation, this is something I feel the Lord has asked me to be committed to.  You can check out my website at https://michelecole.thrivelife.com.   There are 3 ways that help me.        You can have a tasting party - and I can do it even long distance - over zoom!

     a.  Be a customer - start a monthly delivery (can skip months) with a budget you can afford and prepare for what's here and coming.    If you bought from me before but went inactive, we can reactivate your account under my name.    By choosing monthly delivery  over $99 you get free shipping & a 15% discount.  They offer monthly sales that are worth looking at too!   Even the news channels are reporting to expect food shortages!!!!!

     b.  Refer people to my website who may want to store food.  If you are a customer, you get a referral link.  When you share that link -you get discounts and free food when they order.  (a lady here had earned $1000+ in free food)

     c.  Become a consultant - hear me out - you don't have to sell unless you want too.  People become consultants for several reasons.  One - they get paid 5% on everything they spend over $50. Did you hear that - you get paid on your own orders.  Two - if you share with friends and family you can build a residual income & earn free food.  Especially in the first 100 days.  Three - some (me) are wanting this to be a way to earn serious cash.  Yes, this is a MLM company - but there compensation plan can be quite lucrative.  I'm still learning all about this... there are some consultants who are "inactive" and still making 6 figures off residual sales  That would be my goal - not to be inactive -but to make a nice living so we can really step into full time ministry when God opens that door.  This would fund that!

3.  We are trying to sell our timeshares.  We have two.  We have moved away from the area and there is no chance we will get back to use them.

     Branson - http://rocklane.com/branson-yacht-club/

2 bedroom, 2 full bath - sleeps 6, full amenities, kitchen, wifi - on the lake - beautiful views.  Down the street from Silver Dollar City.  Quite, peaceful location.   You get to use it 1 week every ODD year for life (but they are flexible on that).  You can also break it up to 3 nights and 4 nights in any given year.  Annual dues $330.  We are asking $5000 (includes closing costs).  Will consider other offers.  You can rent it out when not using yourself and get $500-$750 a week.  We've done that often throughout the years.  This is something you own and can pass down through inheritance.  You can also subscribe to RCI and trade this week for anywhere else.  We did that a couple of times. Branson has great trading ability.

Lake of the Ozarks -       http://www.lakeview-resort.com

This is a studio condo- sleeps 4 - but more comfortable for just 2.  Kitchen & bath.  On the lake - full amenities.  Great out of the way location.  Annual dues $230.  We are asking $3500 (includes closing costs).  This is 1 week a year anytime for life.

Please let me know how I can pray for you - and how I can celebrate God's goodness with you!

Hugs, love and prayers.

Vision

God has given us a vision to build a retreat property along with ministry equipping center.

The retreat portion of our ministry is to provide a safe place for pastors, lay leaders & other ministry folks to come and be refreshed & encouraged through prophetic ministry (if wanted).  We will offer private cabins with kitchens & full bathrooms, and plenty of places to roam on the property to get quiet with the Lord.

We will offer other specialty retreats - marriage, healing, prophetic teaching & activating people into the world & health and wellness retreats and more.

The Lord has graced us with the desire to come alongside the Church - to bring healing, deliverance & freedom to new/newer believers.  We are not wanting to replace their church, but better help them be ready to serve in their church.

In our community building - we will eventually have a 24/7 prayer room, healing & prophetic rooms and a place for community worship services for those on the property.

Our passion is to minister to a lost & hurting world.   To equip the saints to do the same and to be a blessing to our community and surrounding areas.  Our hopes are that we can pour out God's love in a mighty way to bring more and more souls into the Kingdom, get them discipled, called into their purpose & destiny and released to do God's business!!!!  We also have a passion to give generously to help those in need and to help others launch into their God given destinies.
